We were instantly comfortable. The owner, Brian, was very professional and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. His dog, Reggie, happily greeted us and Tyson. There was another dog there for the day and the 3 of them had a great time! Brian took the time to answer all of our questions and share his knowledge with us. Reggie is a cute, 10 month old, ball of energy! Which is great because Tyson has a lot of energy too and needed a dog to match his. I would feel comfortable dropping him off to play again! And we will. Come check the place out for yourself! The prices are extremely reasonable and you get a packet with their policies. I like that every dog has to be neutered or spayed, that he has ways to break up fights if they occur and he knows doggie CPR! The place is roomy with toys to play with and couches to rest. The owner has plans to do boarding eventually and his wife does dog grooming. We will definitely be back. Tyson is passed out from all the excitement and playing, which is exactly what he needed! I called them multiple times and texted with the staff to ensure that he was doing alright. I was told that he was "sad", but that he was doing fine and was alright." I retained the text messages to prove this. I left an emergency contact who was my nephew in the event he did not do well or became ill during his stay. My emergency contact was never called. When my husband and I picked him up, he was scared, confused, very dirty and seemed very dazed. I asked if they used any sedation on him and I was told "no" by the owner who identified himself as Tom. (this conversation was done through email) He told me that my dog was not a good fit for the facility. He told me he stayed in his kennel/suite and he had to be hand fed. He told me that his staff tried to clean him after his "accidents". My dog is perfectly trained and has never had accidents. We recently moved back to Rochester, NY from another state. In our previous state he was boarded multiple times and was enrolled in daycare. He NEVER had any issues at any prior establishment and was always returned calm, clean and happy. I feel responsible in some ways because I never was shown the facility beyond the front desk. Although the website has a photo of an outside area, when we picked him up and drove to the back of the building, there was no outdoor space or fenced in play area of any sort. I do not understand why they would have allowed my dog to suffer like that for 10 days without contacting me or my emergency contact. the only reason I can think of is that they wanted their full 10 day fee of $545. I would never leave my pet with this establishment.

I highly recommend using this day care, ESPECIALLY if you do not want you dog locked in a kennel for hours a day. Long Story I own a 5 year old boxer mix named Oscar. Oscar has been my only family, traveling with me for the past 5 years and I care for him very much. As so, it is very hard for me to leave him in the hands of others and NEVER over night. I started using the day care because of my work schedule and also because of how happy he was when I would pick him up. He quickly learned the word "day care" and really looked forward to seeing Jen and the other dogs.
