The liquor store is a little small, but a good collection of wine. The liquor is a little more standard, and they do have a credit card minimum. Prices are a little higher then other places, but not obscenely so. The parking lot is small but surprisingly busy - I almost had my driver's door indented when another car didn't notice my entrance from 202, and almost backed into me without checking with reviewer mirror or back-up camera (if applicable). Luckily horns work wonders in getting moving vehicles to stop and re-evaluate their position.

I stopped in at the Falls Village Package Store during the July FV Car Show. It was hot as heck…read morewhen I noticed a few vendors in town selling adult refreshments. Long lines accompanied by hot and humid weather resulted in me walking into the Package Store. The owner was so nice and sold us a can of beer for $1 and a small wine for $5. I couldn't have purchased one refreshment at the other vendors for $6 let alone two. She has a sweet small dog in a doggy bed on the front counter at all times. The dog greets the customers that come in with a happy wag of her tail. I know where I'm going to buy my refreshments when I'm in Falls Village.

From the liquors in the front, it goes back into wines, and beer located in a cooler in the back. The prices seemed reasonable, and I overheard another customer to remark how impressed they were with their whiskey selection (he employed at a whiskey bar). It was a cute, friendly shop that clearly has a group of regulars. There's parking directly in front of the store, and other spots available around the small plaza.

The last time I called him out on the spot. He charged $13.50 for a $10.99 bottle of Saki. When I told him the shelf price was $10.99, he silently rung it up again. When I asked him why he had originally rung it up as $13.50, he mumbled, "price increase" without looking me in the eye. If you go to this place, pay close attention. He banks on people not paying attention.

Their wine selection is about four rafters, and one quarter of their wall is for liquor. They do have a pretty good selection though - Coke for the teetotalers, your favorite liquors, and domestic and international wines. However, it may be best to go in with a spirit of adventure, because they are limited selections. The store definitely used to be something that else - you can tell (or strongly suspect) from the shelving units. There are for sale signs up front for the business, so when it does change hands who knows what it will look like!

The next day he delivered the order himself with a nice discount. I appreciated the effort because although mistakes will happen what is important is the effort put in to correct them. The managers action made me feel valued as a customer even though I am not a frequent consumer of their products.
