I went to on the spot to get my 2020 dodge windows tinted. I ended up having to go back three times. Each time I had to tell him the windows were messed up and blew it off. Jerry told us to come get them fixed but every time we went for him to fix the windows they got worse. My husband tried to call for 3 days after telling him it was messed up when we was at the shop and he said to get in touch with him to fix it another day. I had to call from a number he would not recognize for a answer. I did ask for my money back for the front two windows he took 20 minutes to peel the tint off and gave me my money. I then took my truck to another tint place to get the windows fixed, there was a ton of glue left on my windows that he supposedly removed. They then showed me the messed up tint on the back windows and back glass. I called Jerry, told him what they found and stated I didn't want him to take the tint off due to the other place saying so much glue was left that it could have tore up my window motor. t was a sharpie mark on the tint along with damaged places. He proceeded to tell me the sharpie mark would eventually fade and asked me what I wanted him to do about it. He did give me my money back. read more

Talked to owner in person. He offered me two different packages to detail my car after i had someone damage the paint. Told the owner I would take the 200$ package with an external buff to get the spots with scratches. Owner was nice, at this point. The day of the detail came and I dropped my car off. They told me a time it should be done by and said they'd call me. Well after work I got a ride there, I hadn't been called yet and it was past the time stated, and they told me It would be another hour. Ok, I'll just come back. 2 hours later, no call, I called them. They said it was being wrapped up and said the engine detail was being finished. Well I didn't order the expensive package with the engine detail, so I asked about price. The lady on phone said that I had the expensive package, I told her I didn't request that package and she said to hold and put the owner on the phone, at this point I had been very polite and withheld my disdain that my order had been altered. The owner comes on immediately with a strong attitude and said that it's too late and he knew what I wanted. Said that it was my fault somehow. When i picked the car up the outside was detailed ok at best but my brakes.. dear lawd my brakes. I don't know how, but my 2013 looked like the brake calipers aged about 40 years. The somehow sprayed a chemical onto them that dried out the metal and gave it severe corrosion. I tried to wash off but it didn't work, and they always would look bad, eventually the calipers started to rust too. Avoid this detailing service at all costs. I figured instead of leaving a bag of burning poop on the establishment I would instead just warn everyone else of their customer service, which was extremely poor. In fact the only thing more poor then their service would have to be our national debt. read more

Dropped my 2014 Raptor off with On The Spot Saturday April 23 at 0800 they had the tuck until about 1530ish. I specifically told them DO NOT WAX THE VINYL GRAPHICS.. They said yah no problem we don't wax them anyway. Truck looked good when I picked it up but after a few weeks of being in the rain and what not I noticed a white haze over the graphics. Looked a little closer and realized they had waxed over them. Immediately called and waited 4 days for Jerry the owner to return my call. He said we can get you in May 31 at 0830. Dropped it off this morning at 0900 and was called at 1045 saying it was done. So I drove back down there to find they used what looked like some type of blade and put 5 small holes in the hood graphics. His response when I saw it was "oh that was there when you dropped it off." Flat out calling my a liar. But he didn't mention anything to me when I dropped it off this morning after rubbing his hands over it saying "yah we can take care of it." Which you would think he would have said you have some nicks in the vinyl before starting his work. So now it's going to cost me 500 for my deductible for them to remove and replace them which cost just under $3000. Plus the 270 they charge for what they call a "detail job" 770 for a job that my 6 year old could have done better.... Now on to their actually detail job. Once all the wax had time to dry they left wax residue on my door handles, radio antenna, kick panels by the back bumper and just now noticed some wax that was left on the painted surface. They deserve a zero star not a 1 star!! Shitty job on a $450 bed liner on a brand new $70,000 truck!! Do not come here! They have tried to fix it 2 times and still isn't correct! Bed liner is lifting, cracking, over sprayed, screwed up rails on side of truck from over spray, bed liner is now bubbling and nothing is straight! Looks like a 2 year old did this job!! Wont refund or fix the issues!! read more

I took my vehicle here to get tints removed and ended up with a scratched rear windshield to go along with a broken defroster. When I asked what can be done to fix the problem I was blown off and told there was nothing they could do. Whoever removed my tints obviously didn't know what they were doing. I recommend you look elsewhere and learn from my costly mistake. read more

Horrible tint on the rear window of my car. Tint is a little under two years old and the back is all bubbled up and blurry. Highly recommend not getting your tint done there. read more

I'm all about recognizing when business do well. I am also all about sensitizing my friends to when area businesses don't do well. We scheduled our CRV to get detailed today. I dropped the car by on Friday to have them make a recommendation and they did. I brought the car in early today and specifically asked the technician if they thought anything else (e.g. Clay Barring) was indicated and he said we were good to go. 30 minutes later I get a call saying the entire car will need clay bar and will take an additional 4 hours to complete (and more $). This is bad business practice. All the owner would have had to do was provide me with a Mea Culpa, accept responsibility and I would have capitulated. But since his ego demands were greater than his business demands, On The Spot Auto Detailing gets a bad apple from me because they didn't sufficiently assess the job on the front end and didn't apologize for it on the back end. You will never see my business and I will never recommend you favorably to another. Steer clear friends in the Onslow County area. read more
