Living in an apartment complex that is contracted with On-Time is a nightmare. We have assigned parking spots, and someone parked in my spot. We pay $100/mo for these spots, so I'm not going to let someone park in my spot infront of my doo, and spilling onto the spot next to mine. I called On-time. On the phone, they were incredibly sweet. Asked for the details and everything about the vehicle, and said a driver will be there soon. "Okay fantastic!" I said and thought. 3 hours later, I peer out my window and the car is still there. I call about 4 hours later, and ask what's going on. Again, the lady on the phone was incredibly sweet and said "He should've been there by now!" I'd freakin' hope so, so I go to bed hoping that I wake up and the car is gone. Wake up in the middle of the night, and I look out the window for curiosity's sake. About 9 hours after my initial call and the car is still there. I think to myself "This is actually ridiculous, let me remind them again" so I call. The line rings, and rings, and then the line is picked up and slammed, which has pushed the experience to beyond terrible. I go back to bed, and message the leasing agency to let them know how our contracted towing company is acting. I wake up to go to work, and the car is still there on hour 13 from my initial call. I think "The worst that could happen I think is they curse at me" so I call again. Lady on the phone is super nice, and I remind them of the county bylaw obligation for towing responsiveness. They brush me off and say they'll get a tow truck out there. I think next time I'm going to hire 4 of my friends, and push the damn thing, or put a boot on the wheel or something. Customer service: 4/5; 5/5 if you call during the day. Quality: ?/5, they never grabbed a car, maybe 0/5? I recommend trying other options in RVA. read more

my sister went to an event in Richmond she parked in the visitor section in the area. came out to her car gone. she called the sign about the towing company and they said they didn't have it. she luckily seen the guy who was watching the parking lot to find cars to get who said he took her car because it was the EASIEST TO GET AND NICEST CAR OUT THERE. i understand that she parked in the wrong area but she had the money to get her car right back and they told here they were closed and that she would have to wait until the next day to get her car. YOU DONT LEAVE A YOUNG WOMEN WITH NO VEHICLE AND NO WAY TO GET HOME IF YOUR GOING TO TOW SOMETHING YOU NEED TO BE OPEN 24hrs but they wanted to hold her car overnight so they can charge her an overnight fee as well. read more

Tonight after leaving a family gathering as I was taking some members of my family home I got a flat tire. I dont have a spare so was going to need a tow. My neice who was with me called your company to come to us on Three Chopt Road. We were told it was gonna be 65 dollars and he would be there in 15 minutes. He was there in less than 10 minutes.I was real impressed with how fast he got there and how very nice he was. It is always stressful to be stranded ,and facing costly bills for the car ,especially at night in the cold.Your driver really made the situation so much easier to deal with. the last time I broke down I called a different company who charged me 30 dollars more to take me about the same distance and left me stranded at a closed repair shop in the middle of the night..a lone female. rather than drive me 2 miles to my home! I would definitely use your company again and will store their number in my cell phone for referance. Thanks so much!! read more

Quoted me $65 over the phone to tow my car 6 miles down broad street. I was given a bill for $65. This seems to be about the standard price for west end tow company's who are on yelp. Showed up on time and the employee was friendly and professional. Standard towing experience and will use them again when the time comes. read more

I am a travel nurse in Richmond (meaning I don't know anything about the city). On my way home from work I stopped to pick up food to go. I parked in a lot of a closed bookstore where there were at least ten other cars parked and walked across the street to get my food. The total time I was gone from my car was 13 minutes. In this time this disgusting company towed my car. When I walked back into the lot and saw that my car was gone and looked around is when I saw the towing sign. I called the number on the sign to ask about my car. The guy who answered told me it was towed because I was in a private lot. I asked how come my car was towed and the others weren't and he answered that they know the store is closed so all cars in that lot get towed... the same three cars I parked next to where still there. His response was that they do not stalk the lot and watch for people. He told me it would be 125$ cash only to get my car and that he could "have the driver turn around now if I wanted." I am not from the area so I asked how I was suppose to get him 125$ in cash. He conveniently told me there is an ATM directly across from me and to bring the exact money as the driver will not give me change. When I asked how I was suppose to get exactly 125$ he responded that "it wasn't his problem." He told me to meet his driver at the gas station on the corner. The driver was already pulled up on the side of the road on the other end of the block. When I got to the driver I was trying to look up their prices on their website (they don't list any) and the driver told me he would not wait for me to do this and that he was going to leave. I paid him the 125$ and got my car. Now here's my point... I understand that I parked in a private lot, but I did not realize it even was because of the other cars already in the lot. I didn't leave my car there for hours. I was gone for 13 whole minutes and they know exactly where the ATM is and the driver was already parked on the side of the road?!?!? No they 100% stalked me... watched me get out of my car in my nursing scrubs and walk across the street into the restaurant to get my food and probably even saw the long line and knew they would have enough time to get away with it. The driver wasn't taking my car to be impounded, he did a circle around the block and was waiting for my phone call knowing I'd want to get my car back right then. To make it even better... I passed him as I was driving to the restaurant parked in the same spot on the side of the road with another car on his truck. So to tell you you don't stalk the lot and take advantage of the situation is a complete lie. This company is absolutely disgusting after reading the other reviews as well. read more

I just called the police on these maniacs. We live in a neighborhood that has kids and dogs living a safe existence, playing and riding bikes in the streets, and enjoying suburbia. When these psychos come blowing through at speeds of 55-60 mph, so fast you can't even recognize their branding on the side of their trucks, and endangering your families, it's time to call it a day.
