Mr. Galletta has both a passion and a skill for teaching. Although it started as an online course, it felt like I was sitting in the classroom gaining the experience I needed. Following the online course, I also signed up for the live fire qualification. I had the pleasure of Mr. Galletta personally overseeing my qualification. Much better than a previous online class I'd taken. At the range for qualification, one of his assistants stayed with me through the qualifiying on three weapons. She had the patience of a saint as I was extremely nervous and was shooting a weapon I had just picked up from the gun store that morning. I highly, highly recommend the course. Too bad I left work early the only day I could this week and drove 30 minutes in traffic to make it an hour before closing just to sight in a couple of pistols before an upcoming course this weekend. I couldn't find anything on their website or business hours that stated this to prevented me from wasting my time or making it to another range that sticks to their posted business hours. Maybe designate some lanes when you post business hours open to the public but want to host private events... or update your hours/website.

After finishing the rounds I brought, I noticed my groupings were down and to the left. Since I had just installed a new optic, I thought it might not be zeroed correctly. On my way out, I decided to ask for some advice. Mike was extremely kind and took the time to ask a few questions to understand the issue. He then gave me about 36 rounds, told me to grab a new target, and said he'd meet me in a lane. Long story short, he spent 10-15 minutes helping to figure out the problem and got me shooting in the right direction ;) at no cost. I didn't expect that at all and couldn't be more grateful for his time. I also met Steven, the owner, who was just as friendly and took time to answer my questions about purchasing specific firearms. At no point did I feel like a burden. Thanks again for your time, I'll definitely be back, even with a 30-40 minute commute. It's worth it.

But I had a good experience at this range. The staff seemed welcoming and no one was unusually awkward nor starred at me. They were polite and professional all the way.
