I kept them updated after every step of my to-do list that they provided between cleaning out the basement, breaking down the laundry area, and upgrading my electrical to accommodate the battery backup and separate breakers and outlets. They spent 2 days at my house working (3/30/26 & 3/31/26). When they were done, they told me that they would need to come back in a week to tighten some bolts because they had to pour some concrete and needs longer to cure. I said OK and just call me when they were coming back. Work finished 3/31/26. 4/8 - I texted the salesperson asking when they would be coming back. I was told that she would reach out. Nothing further. 4/30 - I texted again asking when they would be coming out. I was told to let her message him. Nothing further. 5/11 - I texted again about their return. She said that she would reach out again. 5/25 - At this point I was annoyed and texted her to just forget it. Told them now that they are paid and got their initial positive review that they don't seem to care . That I was disappointed. Doesn't give me hope for their yearly inspections for 5 years to make sure everything is still running well. So, I am taking away a star from my initial review.

I explained to them the water is coming from the cracked foundation on the outside into the ceiling of the basement. My basement never flooded from the bottom up. It didn't even flood from the floor up during Hurricane Sandy! So, Brandon, the co-owner, told me they would install a system that would keep the basement dry. I'm a recent widow and not knowledgeable about waterproofing systems so I let them put it in. Before they installed the system I had 7 buckets to collect water and after they put in the system, I had 9 buckets. The system they installed did nothing. The leaks got worse. I called them and they came back to seal the outside with a sealant but the leaking continued. When I reached out again I got no response. I contracted a handyman and he sealed up the outside foundation for less than $300.00. I paid $6,000.00 to Schneck Waterproofing and the problem was repaired by someone else for far less.

We would go through dozens of towels and often run 5-gallon shopvacs to try to keep streams of water from flowing across the floor and pooling into the finished part of our basement. Finally, I had enough. I called a few basement repair companies to come in, survey the problem, and give us estimates.
