I have personally been to this store and gone back many times. I have things I love about it and some points I didn't but all in all I will continue to shop and trade in at this store. I love the atmosphere of clean store front, soft music, properly arranged items by size and categories as well as the toy area being tidy. Easy to find what I want with out having to get help. But nice to have help readily available if needed. I also like the enclosed play area for little Tikes so I know my son is busy and happy playing and not grabbing things on shelf or ready to leave right away. The prices to buy are low and the assortment of product is good quality especially for used items. Seriously good quality. But two things I wasn't fond of is the low trade in value though not low enough to keep me from coming back. And I have myself and many friends had some attitude and snobbish workers. I used to LOVE OUAC ! My daughter was a premie baby . Not a lot of things at the time that could fit her. I found there. So cute, couldn't even tell the clothing was used. They had tons to choose from. But .. all good things come to an end. They started to take a lot more items in range of sizes. The store was crowded and packed before, now.. you can't even look at a garment they're so packed on the rack ! Pull a shirt out and you get 50 falling out too. They're really stuck on "Name" brand , so the stylish or unique clothing finds , are no longer. Prices are crazy high on most stuff. It's easier to put up with Temu and Amazon scoring a great deal on NEW merchandise, than trying to pillage through the tight rows . Of basic clothing, and I add this because all I seen for boys clothes , was several Nike or Adidas shirts in the exact same style multiple times. Giving no style or variety. For the most part , the workers are checking you out. But they don't generally seem interested or want to really be bothered by you. Most are busy going through people's belongings they're trying to sale. Then there is that . BRING IN GENTLY NEW USED CLOTHING OR ITEMS AND WILL PAY YOU!!! Don't waste your time. If you think you have really good clothing or items , you're better off trying to sell them on FB Marketplace or OfferUp. I can promise you , you'll save yourself a headache and put more money in your pocket. I had around 7 small boxes of New and gently used name brand teen boys clothing and if not , a ton from Target. They actually kept around 3/4's of the boxes but I only got $22 dollars. . AND I'll add, they won't even think about your items if they're in bags . -Totes, or boxes only. If there are scuffs or the slightest speck of dirt on baby items , ie.. Strollers, Swings , stuff like that , they will not accept. Period! YET... have no problem returning your items back to you that they do not want, messy, unfolded and be lucky if the items are back in said tote or box! I took time to wash, fold and organised each box of clothing I took into sell. Even down to size! What the gave back to me , was miserable! Don't forget to make an appointment too if you are still willing to give it a shot. They claim they text you when they're done going or should I say tearing through your stuff, Ha ! Maybe on Wednesday?? I live across town, so I was trying to stay in the area. I was on that side around 4 hours and no text. I returned myself and asked if they were done. I wish I could give ZERO stars! I gave my clothes in a box and of course they took nothing but what got me was my clothes were just in throw together in a big mess. When I gave them the box it was neat not perfectly folded but neat. I asked them when I picked up my clothes if they could at least give it back to me the way I gave it to them. Don't waste your time!!! This place is an absolute joke!! I brought in two boxes of brand new clothes that my daughter never even had a chance to wear. Mind you she is 5 months old so everything was recently purchased and not out style and still sold in stores or online. When I buy things I remove the tags and wash them immediately as to not transfer any germs to her. They literally only picked 5 things to buy and passed on things that I never even took the tags off of. I took everything back and dropped it all off at goodwill. I am done shopping at Once Upon A Child - Baytown, TX first I took clothes they said there was roaches in them I don't have roaches in my house so I just went and rewashed them now they can't cause there wet no ma'am I paid to have them washed and dryer at washateria. I realize that a one star review may seem quite harsh for a consignment shop but honestly this location deserves it. Now I have been to plenty of Once Upon A Child locations, including several out of state so this chain isn't new to me. If there were a prize for worst service and selection of nice clothes at unfair prices then this one would take the ribbon, cake, the whole nine yards. Things are not properly organized and the staff is awful. No smiles, greetings, nor any warmness to make you feel comfortable whatsoever. Love this place. As you know babys grow so fast so there prices are amazing. They have everything you need. They have swings bassinets and clothes. They have it all. Only complaint I could find is they should put more boy onesie out and pants. Other then that I love this store and I tell everyone about it. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! They expect you to take everything new and give you 50 cents for your clothes. I took some new adidas and the girl just told me they took 2 items and had the adidas under the dress so I wouldn't see. And I didn't noticed until I got hole. I've both sold and bought here. Each time I've visited the store has been exceptionally clean and tidy. Everything was extremely organized. All the sizes and prices were clearly marked and all of my purchases were clean and true to size. I've even bought some toys here and I was surprised at how clean and well maintained they were. Management takes pride in their purchases and can be picky in what they buy, but that's because they only resale the best. read more

This boutique was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I've stopped by ! They sell baby clothes that's in good condition or never used some even still have tags and it's super affordable. They well all baby gear and if you have baby clothes you don't need and it's never worn of in good condition you can stop by they will buy it from you with cash! This store just opened and it is the junkiest store I have been in. The aisles are too narrow to shop and the clothes are just crammed in there. The manager is rude on top of the very messy store. I don't even know what to say. I tried again. What a nightmare. People that know me, know that I don't mess around when it comes to clothes and brands. I thought I would actually try and take some of my daughter's clothes and see what they would offer me. OH DEAR. Only in Baytown, is all I can say. Let me start out by saying, once again I encountered the most unprofessional sales associate again. This time, she threw her hands up and said, "I can't take this," and walked off. She should be fired. I am not sure who trains these young girls that work there but they are not trained to handle customer service at all! Second, I took a variety of things. They refused to take my Boutique brands such as Kelly's Kids, Mulberry Street, Petit ami, etc. I was SHOCKED. They told us that they had stains. We could not see them. We had them point them out and they were so invisible that you could barely see. They have junk hanging on their racks that look like cheap good will clothing but refuse to take nice stuff that is in good condition that you can barely see with the naked eye. I about fell on the floor. I keep my clothing in great condition. Again, those that know me in town, know that my stuff is in great shape. They chose to take all of the target brand and other play type clothes that came from who knows where. That is fine but it just goes to show you that they do NOT know what they are searching for in this store. So sad. These young kids looking through the clothes have no idea. All they know is Miss Me, Abercrombie, etc. ha! Don't Sell you stuff here, don't shop here, and beware of the customer service here. read more

This store is not a good place to resell your like new baby and child items. They reject high quickly, designer label items in like new condition with abandon. Maybe they are overstocked, but to take the time to organize and sort and then to transport a large container of very gently used items only to be offered a few dollars for a few cherry picked pieces is just not worth anyone's time. I found this location to be very convenient. I was in the area visiting family who live nearby. They had tons of clothes, toys and shoes to choose from! If you have time, it will be worth your time to check it out. There was a lady there trying to sell clothes when I was there, and I could smell the smoke from the clothes across the room. The sales reps were very polite when explaining why they couldn't accept the clothes. The next time I am in town, I plan on heading back to stock up for my kids. read more
