Surprised for a second hand store , it does not have a stanch of old clothes or B.O hitting me in the face as I entered. My first thought wow! this store is organized and well kept. All the clothes were on hangers, sorted by same items. I thought made it so much easier to peruse through. The staff here were friendly and very helpful. They only had their spring and summer collection displayed in the store. Its still cold for us SoCaL blooded people. I enquire if they still have any winter jackets available? She asked if I have a few minutes to wait while she pull from her stock room. She came back with two plastic bins. We walked out the store with winter jackets , gloves , hats and scarfs for my 4 girls. Thank you! for such an awesome service and keeping my children warm during our vacation trip driving through different states. Didn't realize its still cold on this part of the states. read more

I've heard a lot about Once Upon A Child from the Facebook group I'm in, so I decided to go check it out for some fall/winter clothes for my toddler. As we walked in I noticed the employees and many customers weren't wearing masks, but they do sell masks for kids for about $5/each. I think we found a lot of good clothes and spent about $50 for 11 items. The store is very organized and doesn't smell. The aisles are a little cramped, but there is A LOT of clothes. Plenty of parking. I'd definitely recommend getting your newborn clothes here! The toy section also has plenty of books and puzzles. I think the prices are pretty fair. read more

We hauled Four full totes of cloths to Cheyenne to see if we could get anything out of them. Which was a 2 hour drive. After arriving they were nice at first but when we came back the older ladies seemed a little annoyed we spent a lot of time cleaning and getting these cloths ready. They gave us $130 but barely took any of the cloths which is fine but there were a lot of name brand items they didn't take that were new. After hauling all the cloths back we realized that all the full outfits that we organized were no longer full outfits they would take just the shirt or just the pants which is very odd to me. If we would of known they would take so little of our stuff and separate matching outfits. We would of much rather donated to a charity that doesn't make a profit off our stuff. Was not worth the time, effort, fuel, and poor attitude in the store. Felt very annoyed that they had to go through all our cloths. I would say if you don't love your job then why are you there. Might have been a bad day or something but was not a great first visit I hardly ever leave reviews so if that tells you anything. read more

The people who work here are lovely, kind, considerate and worth driving 30 miles! I come from across state lines because their service is fantastic! The store if always clean and organized. Like most places, you have to search and you will find great deals! When we take the time to slow down, listen, and help one another, great things happen. I wait and go to the Fort Collins Once Upon A Child because they have a far better selection than the one here in Cheyenne. I will sell my stuff at the Cheyenne store but that is about it. The stuff they put on sale at the Cheyenne store is also a big disappointment and obviously marked down because no one would want it anyway. The younger staff are great to deal with, but unfortunately, this hasn't been my experience with the two older ones. Sorry to say but they were grumpy and unfriendly. read more

Easy to sell your used kids things and easy to find them new things. Since people come in everyday selling things the stock is always changing so you just have to keep an eye out if you want a certain item that sells fast. Clothes, bikes,strollers,toys they have many things to choose from and they are all sectioned off by age or size clothing by gender as well. Very nice place. read more
