Thrifty moms- this is THE place to shop! I've only stopped in twice now but the selection is incredibly abundant and everything I've got from here appears as new. Yes there are some items in the store's selection that show light signs of use, but I expected that at a thrift store and all items I've seen are 100% of reusable quality. I signed up for the rewards program- I got to choose 5 free onesies last month just for being a member of the program with no purchase necessary! The rewards program is for expectant mothers to babies of 18 months from my understanding, very convenient and exciting. The staff have all been polite and helpful as well. read more

Place is a joke. They offer you like 30 cents for a brand new with tags toy and process to send back a bunch of good condition, high quality items. SHOPPING here for clothes has always been great. The store is well organized and they offer lots of deals for parents to take advantage of. I appreciate that. The staff has always been kind and courteous. I will preface this with the fact that I've never sold items to this store, and I do not purchase items like swings or toys from this store. I am a mother of two young daughters. I walked in the store the other week to go Christmas shopping for my family. The store was very nice and organized, however, when I went to go ask one of the employees for help, they proceeded to ignore me even though they made eye contact with me. I understand they are busy with other tasks to do, but there were other girls who were just standing there and they could have helped me. I noticed that there is no manager working and I feel like that is very irresponsible because there is nothing but teenage girls working together. We need grown adults to be working at a children's place because it is a better responsibility. Not to mention, when you are selling your items to them, one it is a scam, and two they have too high standards. Teenage girls are awfully rude these days! read more

Love this store! They moved not long ago and the new space is so big and open! It doesn't feel cramped or cluttered. I find nice valued clothes for all my girls at different sizes. Super impressed with the quality of most items. The seasonal racks are so helpful when looking for something needed for the season, like swimsuits or costumes or dresses for the holidays. read more

I was hesitant to try a new Once Upon a Child location. I hated the Wesley Chapel store, but loved the Carrolwood one. This location ranks somewhere in the middle. The staff was courteous, almost like they have memorized what to say though. They were extremely picky on what they purchased from me--only a handful of items out of the 2 bins I brought in to sell. I suppose if you cannot make it to the carrolwood location, this is the second best option. Also, I noticed they purchased at least one or two items that were rejected from Carrolwood...so might be worth a shot to try both! read more

I love a good bargain, as most non newbie parents do & this place does have decent prices for kids stuff. It's a bit overcrowded inside but, that allows for plenty of good deals on kids clothing, toys, shoes, books, strollers, bassinets & even swings! They also provide you with a loyalty card where you can get an extra stamp if you choose not to use a plastic bag so I usually bring my reusable ones. Prices are decent, $2-10 for each children's clothing item I purchased today and I had a filled loyalty card so I got an extra 20% off. They also buy items from their customers for cash, unlike the other baby resale shops in the area that only give store credit (although I end up spending the money purchasing more stuff). When they do purchase your used items they offer pretty low amounts but if it's things Your never going to use again, it's worth cleaning house! read more

I strongly advise to not sell or shop here. This place is a scam and stole from me. I went in to sell my clothes, and was advised it was going to be a 4 hour wait (for a small bag of clothes that I was selling). It usually takes 20 minutes for them to go through your clothes. Due to the 4 hour wait time, my clothes would not be ready until shortly before closing so I was unable to pick it up. I went in the next morning shortly after opening to pick up my items and they advised that they donated my clothes because it was the "next day" and were giving me a $13 store credit for the items that they want. Another associate found my clothes that they did not want and gave them back to me, but refused to give me cash and would not show me what they were buying because it was "the next day." It hadn't even been 24 hours! Again, it was a FOUR hour wait to pick up my clothes and not ready until right before closing. I got there the next day shortly after opening! I wanted ALL my clothes back and not store credit and they would not oblige. This place is the biggest scam! read more

Don't shop here they scam pregnant women and mothers. They sold me swing for $65 while I was preparing for my baby. Then when we went to use it the swing worked twice and then broke. They would not let us return the swing or get store credit. They are aware that they are selling, expecting mothers, broken items with no chance to return them. What a scam! read more

Positive: They had a huge selection of clothing and toys. My girls go to therapy and I was able to find some of the same toys that their therapists would use. I was able to even find duplicate shirts and shorts for my twins and got a good selection of sleepwear for them too. The staff were very nice and the prices were reasonable. Negative: I was a little aggravated at how hard it was to maneuver in the store. I been a couple of times in this store. I been to sold and buy stuff. Honestly it doesn't worth to sell anything here, they want to buy each pair of shoes in $1 that are almost new, same with the clothes. They reject things that are in a really good shape and they sell things that you can see are more used it that the ones you're bringing. The personal is nice, and the Instagram account to hold new things is the only thing that I honestly use and thinks it works fine. read more

I'm updating my review after multiple visits here has changed my perspective a bit. As I stated before, I still wouldn't bother to sell my clothes here. It's honestly not worth the hassle of washing, folding and ironing them to perfection just to hear them tell you "We'd love to offer you $3.50 for this entire garbage bag of clothes :D". I still prefer to just donate my kids outgrown items. However for buying clothes I do like to come here now. If you check their Facebook page, they have sales often, which makes it too good to pass up. Last week they had a buy 5 get 5 free sale and then a b2g2 pjs sale. So I got 10 clothing items and 4 pajamas for about $15. Can't beat that!! My kid grows so fast and goes through clothes like crazy. Never will i go back to this location! Visited found some good stuff, a lot of stuff had stains thought maybe they had not noticed. Brought all new items to sell, majority with the tags still on. They wouldn't take any really, majority everything i saw had stains!! They wouldn't even take the outfits that go together, instead the only took one part of them. I highly recommend shopping at this OUAC location because you will find great quality clothing for such a great price! They always have great sales and promotions every now and then. The staff and the owners are always so friendly and very welcoming. Tips: Keep in mind that when you bring items in to sell, they are very picky because they have so much in stock and they always try to choose the best items for their customers! Would you want to buy something that looks worn down & has stains? Of course not! That's why the staff is picky so that the customers who are buying have a better selection than some locations. Also keep in mind that when you sell, you won't get what you paid for originally but hey, you're getting something out of it so you might as well take it!
