This store is the best in Northern Colorado. There is also one in Greeley. They take most items and are fast and friendly.

I'm not sure that in the 10 years I've been going in there that anyone has ever been nice and I'm never going again if it hadn't been for the fact that I already had a purchase on hold from the clothes they were reviewing I would have left without that purchase. I gave them an $80 dress and $80 pair of little girls dress shoes a pair of $50 sandals and some boots and what they gave me was seven dollars and some cents and like I said if I hadn't been in a hurry and I already had a purchase coming I would've left and lughef in their faces I should've kept my stuff on Poshmark never again will I be that stupid As if girls that age reviewing items have no idea what the value of most of this is I'm ashamed of myself and I will never go back in there again how can somebody consistently want to spend money where people are so rude read more

I used to love coming here to sell and buy clothes but it's really gone downhill. I took a basket of items at 930 am, 30 minutes after they opened. There were two others in front of me. I was told it would take 2.5 hours before my items were looked at. That's ridiculous! For someone who lives in Ft Collins, maybe that's not a big deal, but when you live 30 minutes away or you're waiting to see what you're offered before you purchase anything, that's insane. When I showed up at the 2.5 hour mark, I was told that it would be an additional 45 minutes. Unbelievable. The staff is not friendly, and the wait in line to make a purchase takes forever too. read more

I don't understand why they make us sign in because they just skip over you. I came before they opened so I'd be first in line so I wouldn't end up waiting an hour with my one year old and I still end up waiting a whole hour because they skipped me and did two people before me..then when I say something about it they start working on it and then stop to handle the line for 10 minutes and check out people who signed in after me. I find the staff here to be rude and condescending. I had intended to sell some toys that were in excellent condition, when one of the employees publicly corrected the employee helping me about not giving out the last basket to put my items in. I was offended by this, as I am a seller and customer, and don't understand why they wouldn't want to make this easier for all of us. What are they saving the last basket for? I mentioned to the lady helping me that I thought that was rude to say in front of a customer, and then she corrected me by saying it wasn't rude. I took my items and will be selling them somewhere else. I'm not sure the employees here understand how their business should work. People choose to sell here, and without those people, Once Upon a Child won't have a business. The employees at Once Upon a Child act like they are doing sellers such a big favor by purchasing their items, and therefore treat them like second class citizens. They need to get a clue. read more

The store runs is nothing fancy, but it does a good job as a consignment business. I have purchased from the store several times. It is hit or miss if I can find what I am looking for, but that is what happens when shopping at any consignment store. The complaints about the prices and product quality are amusing to me; the flip side is the complaints about the people not getting "top dollar" or the store not buying perfectly good cloths. I recently sold some stuff and I felt they paid me a fair amount for the products considering they need to pay their staff and for their store front. Yes, they passed on buying a lot of things...but again people complain about the product quality so I understand why. Next time I sell, I'll take the time to put together outfits and will discard any items that have been well loved. I think this store operates as it needs to keep the doors open, and I am glad to have it as an option in my community. read more

I was so frustrated with the condition in which they returned my clothing items to me. I took in two totes with washed, folded clothes. They were returned In a huge heap. So disrespectful. They gave me $31 for 28 name brand items in barely used condition. ( I have little issue with the amount they gave me) The best thing about this location used to be the Medela breast pump rentals ( they no longer carry them) and the last two visits included long waits and the horrible treatment of my belongings. read more

The clothes are a bit over priced for what you get--It's worth spending a couple more dollars for a new item at Target. You can definitely find good deals on barely used winter clothes and occasionally a decent pair of Keens. I have a barely used bassinet and breast pump I would rather try and sell on Craigslist--I think the pay out is a joke. The staff looks at you like a deer in headlights.. There has always been a strange vibe in that place. I would recommend checking out the other small thrift shops in FC first.. read more

If you don't fold the clothes the way they want them they won't take them...like its hard to see that the light pink shirt goes with the light pink pants...Rediculous. This store is so crowded every time I go, its become nearly impossible to have a good experience, especially when my kids are with me. I don't like that there's no fitting room, or comfortable place to nurse if you're in need, or that the bathroom is locked, so when your toddler has to go, its a 5 minute process to get in to the bathroom. I do like the items they sell, and I think they're prices are fair. read more

Employees are generally short toned and seem unhappy. Has become a waste of time to try to sell to. Ive brought brand new clothing in and they wont take. I wonder if they really look at everything. Not at all impressed. Can find cheaper clothing at department stores. read more

This is literally the worst Once Upon a Child I have been to definitely would recommend any other location above this one. I brought in brand new name brand items that they passed on and when I asked why they had no explanation and even offered to add items on but I had already been waiting 5 hours.Among those items included brand new Nikes keen and even leather boots. they picked out one Christmas dress and tried to give me pennies for it I even spoke to the owner and everyone there was incredibly rude and had no patience or time to explain to me why they had passed on my item and couldn't even find my items that they had passed on they had no sympathy or compassion and we're very disrespectful and rude and when I asked for a manager one of the girls at the front room I been on the floor and stomped away I have never ever felt so disrespected. Absolutely horrible I believe that they need to be shut down and receive training on how to talk with customers and deal customer service complaints before they are allowed to open again absolutely ridiculous!!!!! I am giving one star only because I cannot do anything lower but if you ask me they don't even deserve this one star and it looks like plenty of people agree with me read more
