I'm not sure what happened between they opened a few years and now, but they definitely used to have nicer things then they do now. I used to sell so many things to them. Now, not so much because they are really picky about what they take. I have always sold nice things that were in great shape. Now it doesn't seem like they want any more merchandise. Im not sure how it's possible that they turn away some of my things when I see shoes and clothes that are in bad shape that they have purchased. This is one of the nastiest locations, it smells as soon as you walk in. The staff was so rude. They'll look at you without saying anything instead of asking if you need assistance. I was sent a text that my sale was ready so when I came back to finish it, I stood there ignored for about 10 min before I had to tell her that I received the msg and have been waiting to check out. read more

If you want to make money, this is not the place for you. If you want to save money, this is the place for you. You can sell your used kids clothes ,toys and supplies to this store, but don't get excited because they pay you little to nothing for your items. You can bring 20 items to sell, and they will look through and if you're lucky they may select five of those 20. It seems as if they give you a dollar for clothes and shoes, and the bare minimum for other items such as a crib. So don't get excited and think you can make a good income off of selling to this place. But if you are looking to buy name-brand up-to-date clothes for your kids at a bargain, this is definitely the place for you. I would suggest going during the week, or when they first open if you are selling to avoid a long wait. I have seen people wait over an hour just to hear that they're clothes weren't accepted. I have seen many people walk out with a sad face and a heavy load carrying back all of the clothes that the buyers chose not to accept. All in all, the concept of the store is cool,but there are things I wish it would improve on ,mainly thier buying process. read more

This place is awesome to shop at! This is really an amazing second hand kid store. So much selection and great prices and if you're selling you shouldn't be expecting to get too much unless you're looking for a place that will sell you used things for an overpriced sale. read more

Over the years I've purchased a lot of clothing for my daughter. It was nice to see a place that would buy theses items so another little girl would wear them. I've brought in a lot of nice items only to be told the item was stained or worn. I don't give away bad items so I asked her to show me what was worn or stained, of course she couldn't find anything. Then the reason changed, "we have too many." I've never find them rude, they just don't care read more

Not for the bougie or high class. Great for money saving moms. I love this place. Great quality clothing.

I would give zero stars if possible. I have taken many things that were expensive and them not take it. Not worth the time to try and sell there. If they do take it is not even a third of what you paid for. Brand new toys still in the box still don't even get taken. Just going to start using 5 mile from now on. Screw them. So stingy. I have been to this location 3 times and on my last visit I made sure to make it my last. They only buy for the season we are approaching, so don't bring anything out of season. The teenagers that work here are rude AT BEST. I showed up and was the first person at the store when it opened in the hopes of not waiting long. I brought 1 laundry basket of clothing. I was told that it would take 20 minutes or less as I was the first customer in, and they would write my last name on the whiteboard in the front of the store when my things were finished. 45 minutes later and I have a screaming infant who has missed a feeding and my name STILL isn't on the board. But guess who's name WAS on the board? The two women who had come in and checked in their items AFTER me. Infuriated, I went up there an asked how much longer it was going to be. The woman checked and apparently my items had BEEN finished however no one took the time to write my name on the board. But it wasn't a problem to write the other women's names on the board AFTER me. The woman looked at me with a blank stare then offered me a $5 credit to use in-store. She also offered me $1 for 3-long sleeved carter's onesies THAT STILL HAD TAGS ON THEM. $1 for all 3. This store is a rip-off. If you're going to look for good deals on baby clothes I would check them out. I would NEVER, EVER recommend trying to sell here. The girls that work here cater to... a certain crowd. If you're young, and don't look like you have deep pockets or hubby's credit card, they will treat you like dirt like they did to me and my children. The service is SO bad here I actually refused the $5 credit she offered me. Has to be pretty damn bad for me to turn down FREE MONEY. I don't support businesses that discriminate. read more

This is the only Once Upon A Child that I have ever been to. The store isn't anything to really rave about, but they do have really good prices on otherwise very expensive baby/children's clothing and toys. Some things are marked more than what they're worth, but that happens. There are a few girls that have a happy face, but customer service is severely lacking. I have only purchased items, I have no intention of selling. The main complaints I have is that the store doesn't seem to have air conditioning, which is uncomfortable for patrons and employees alike-Maybe something the owner/landlord should look into? My other complaint is that the kids play area is nasty. It's nice that they have one, but I would personally never let my child in there. If you're going to have one, keep it free of urine smell and wipe it down once in a while. The toys could be slightly better organized, but it's more of a goodwill than an actual clothing store, so not that big of a deal. I will continue to shop here in the future. read more

I used to think that this place was great but now I have had such a bad experience the past few times I have been here I will never come back. The toys and clothes that are for sell are great prices and gently used. What you don't know is how they buy back clothes or toys back. The first experience I had baby clothes that I wanted to sell and they told me they wouldn't buy any of them because they were not matching sets. It is a ridiculous excuse when you see every pair of clothes that are in the store are not matching sets. So I'm not sure why they gave that excuse or they just didn't want my clothes. The second bad experience and the one I am most disappointed on is the baby toys I wanted to try and sell back. I had 2 walkers, a 3 tier baby bouncer, building blocks and mambo. I called before to make sure they were taking my items and they said they were. When I arrived and tried to sell the items back they told me they would only buy the three tier baby bouncer and one of the walkers and only give me 28 dollars for both. These toys that I bought for over 150 dollars they were going to only give me 28 for both and then sell them for over 50 a piece ?? I just can't let them basically steal my items only for them to make triple the profit. All of the toys we were selling back were in excellent condition and the reasoning for not buying back the rest of the toys were because they had stains on them. The stains that are on these toys are so small that you can't even hardly see them. They are all thoroughly washed. I would never sell toys or buy toys that were not washed. All of the toys that they have in the store have some type of stain on them. I just don't understand why I am being turned away on all my items when there is far worse toys there for sell that they bought. This place is a rip off. Don't waste your time. You will be just as disappointed as me. read more
