I'm so glad I discovered this place while my daughter is young! I mostly was interested initially because of clothes- babies/toddlers obviously outgrow them at a crazy speed. We check them out for winter jackets especially since those might be on the higher price point for kid clothing items- we've gotten jackets my daughter LOVES from here that hold up pretty well. Mostly have gotten shirts or sweaters in the $4-$12 range- some from stores like the gap which I didn't initially gravitate to for my kiddo but now do (at the actual store). They have the whole clothing area organized with clear signs of where to look (not like a Marshalls where it's all thrown together). I really love that they have toys too- not even for the buying but the selling. I joke I'm close to being a hoarder because I can't let go of anything.. so it's nice to know I can bring my daughters old toys and clothes here. I only tried to sell x1 so far but I was pretty disappointed for a huge bag they offered me $6.. I didn't understand the rationale when some of it should have been worth a little more. If you get that little as a trade-in, I maybe rather give it to a friend or someone on a fb group who needs it because the payoff/reward is greater but again.. at least this is an option! Also: Make sure you check when their buy back hours are so you don't show up with bags/buckets for no reason. Another tidbit: you may walk out with items you never expected to bring home (ie one time at checkout I was paying for clothes and before you know it a rocking ride-on toy sheep was being carried to my car Lol). read more

I got a few things, but this place is so small and limited. All of the employees were young girls who were talking really badly about someone that works there with other customers in the store. They're also selling some items that aren't baby at all and it just looks like a regular thrift store? Like serving platters and taco dishes? I personally love this place. I've been here a few times once with my sister and I think a few other times with a friend. The baby section isn't that big so there really isn't that much of a selection there. The value was pretty good. You get all different styles of clothing so you can't go wrong with that. They do have up to I think 5T so that's great. What I love about this place is that they section off T-shirts long sleeve shirts, pants, shoes and jackets. There is also all different seasons so you can get what you need in the season you want and it's clearer than a lot of places that I went to. The shoes are in bins, which is nice instead of them being thrown about. The service is great The employees were very friendly. read more

They buy back children's clothes and they always come through in a pinch. I once called when I needed to buy a white shirt for a concert last minute and the employee who answered the phone checked if they had them and pulled all the options in the size I needed so I could run in and out. I love once upon a child! It's great when you have a toddler who zooms through sizes and you need to buy a new size in what feels like every other week. second time i have been here to sell a box full of either brand new with tags items or items in excellent used condition. I went into the store and was asked if i was there to sell, to which i replied yes, and the young girl behind the counter told me, extremely rudely, that they do not purchase items past 12 noon, meanwhile the sign on the door clear as day says 12:30. this is not the first time I have had a negative experience here with the attitude of the young girls behind the counter. I will not be returning to this location. I would prefer to drive an additional 20 minutes out of my way and be treated like an actual human being at their other location. I have been going to the store for over 20 years... I even went when it was in its old location. This is the first time that I ever felt that the employees especially the older woman that was there was downright nasty and rude... Could not be bothered answering questions. The store is run by young girls from high school and they are usually helpful. I had a question about a discount card that I had from years and years ago and it was actually crazy with the rude answers I was getting and they were looking at me like I was making it up about having a discount card until I went to my car and got it then they told me it wasn't from the store despite having the address on the card. I've been to this store several times to buy items. I drive 45 mins to get to the store so I tend to stock up when I do go in. On this last occasion, once I got home, I quickly realized that although I was charged for everything, there were several items missing from my bag. That is absolutely unacceptable! This is the worst consignment shop I've ever been to not only are all the girls rude but they take forever to go through stuff and all they do is talk about their personal life and they literally give you $.50 for every item. They wanted 30 items from me which were in perfect condition and they were like we can give you 13 bucks for it I was like what is that $.25 each item. This business is helpful for parents who have perfectly good kids toys and items but don't want to just throw them away. Also it's great to take all the things and let you kids pick out one book or toy to take home. My big issue is the lack of communication with their trade in hours. When I arrived today I had learned that they changed their hours to end at 11am to bring things in for selling. Here on yelp someone posted a photo of hours as late as 12:30 from Tuesday to Saturday. They informed us that it had changed during Covid and they only do 12 pm on Saturdays. But they haven't shared this information anywhere. Not even a paper on their front door. For that reason I find it very thoughtless since some people travel with their children to try and unload some of the clutter and useful toys and clothing. But if you can get there during the hours of selling they have a great system and it is worth it. I just wish they would be more transparent with their selling times. read more

Selling clothes here is almost not worth it. They tend to pick items at random. I've brought the same items back a few times and they've taken them eventually so I'm not entirely sure why they turn some things away. One employee told another to only pick the nice stuff from my bag. Found that a little rude especially since my bag was full of gently used or nwt items. I barely leave with $20 every time I sell. Purchasing is easier. Most items are decently priced. Be sure to check items thoroughly though. read more

I had called this place twice to ask whether or not I could drop off my old puzzles and both times got a clear okay, neither time was it mentioned to me that for some unexplained reason puzzles with over 100 pieces are never accepted; an unfortunate fact that was revealed to me after I left all of my puzzles at the store and was later told to return to pick them up. Wish I could get a refund for gas, and wish I could unhear the disgusting conversation about how to ensure a dead body drowns I overheard from the volunteers right behind the counter. This was the second time I been to this store. The first time I went it was very disorganized the second time I went was to bring gently used kids stuff barely used I should say. They sat in storage or in my basement. I get a phone call about an hour after dropping it off they said they couldn't take anything. Mind you I still had things in packages and other things in perfect condition. My husband brought everything home and he realized it was still packed the same way as we left it. This was the second time I came & brung clothes . I didn't even ask how many people were in front of me An older lady said It's 3 more people ahead of me they were in one of those bins now . Long story short I had to leave I waited for almost an hour and 40 mins for them to check the bins before me and mine it wasn't a lot of bins there that day either she told me it won't be long . I came in a few times to check on their progress a few times . Went brought a breakfast sandwich and had to leave to go to Brooklyn before I headed out I believe my bin was up next but I could t wait no longer told them I'll be back. I never took the clothes out from the first time I went I got 27 for about 5 items the first time . They took Nike clothes and listed them as Reebok's I had to tell the young girl it was nothing in here with that brand so I took the item just for that error . The second time I came back with the same clothes took nothing out but added more items BRAND NEW WITH TAGS STILL ATTACHED Nikes , champions etc good clothes ! I got $21 for 35 items I believe the receipt said & I couldn't check anything because it was already Tag and on the floor but that right there I felt was funny because again I said I brung the same clothes page and got less then the first time. I love this store, have been going for years and thank God this store exists because I would be throwing out all my stuff for kids that can be reused by others. I have been there times when its closed but don't mind, I always have time to come back another time, I always sell what I don't need and buy what I need for my little ones. I frequent this location especially when looking for something specific for my daughter. I like to get things for my nieces and nephews from this store also, you get a decent amount of clothing for a cheaper price. A lot of items still have their original tags, and a lot of variety. The carry clothes, toys, shoes, books, dvds, strollers, bikes, baby swings, etc. As far as the buyback services, don't expect too much. New(with tags) they will DEFINITELY take but for waaayyy less than what you purchased it for. I like to use the money for more clothes or gas. Either way it's worth a shot, it gets very busy but the women are all very friendly. read more

I do not understand why all the negative reviews here. Its a THRIFT STORE that sell your items at very low prices. Why do people think they will get top dollar for their items. I buy shorts for my girls for 3-4 bucks. Shirts for like 2-4 bucks. They are in excellent, very gently used condition. I bought a baby bouncer for 12 bucks. I also bought a jean Levi jackets for 8 bucks. All the terrible comments here are regarding selling items. I never sell here. ITS A THRIFT STORE. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU TOP DOLLAR. I sell my items on ebay. If you come here to buy it is a great store and you will find such beautiful things. I have been here about a dozen times. I love it and its my go to spot for Halloween costumes or specialty clothing for Valentine's day or st.Patrick's. You will not be disappointed if you are coming to buy something. The clothes dont stink like other thrift stores (i do wash them when i get home) and the place is very clean and it doesnt have that weird thrift store smell. I wil always return here. Like most first time mothers, I registered for all the recommended registry items. As it turns out, my son barely used half of them. A swing was used literally twice. The Snap and Go a handful of times. Some toys never even touched. I wanted to find somewhere that would buy these things and give cash on the spot and found this place. Seaford was a good 45 minutes drive for us so not an easy distance to drive. Plus, the store is not located in a GPS findable address for some reason. I brought in a Graco swing, a Snap and Go, an Imaginarium large wooden activity center and another Melissa and Doug wooden toy, along with shoes and clothes. I was offered $62. Absolutely crazy!!! But because 1, I did not know I could reject their offer for something better and 2, I didn't really want to lug all these things home again, I accepted. I wish I had read the previous reviewers post on asking for a better offer before I went. I definitely feel ripped off and would not recommend anyone come here to sell their things. A great place to sell gently used, NAME BRAND, & originally expensive items! Don't bring Old Navy or Target clothes here expecting them to buy the items! Think about it...those stores are pretty cheap to begin with! Had many things about this store from YouTube and I decided to make my way over . I was so amazed by the organization of how this place was. Plus there's so much here for a boy or girl. A lot of toys and books . Everything was neat and by section. I found a good selection of clothes for my 2 year old. The amount of money I spent was amazing for the amount of stuff I got. I thought it was really good specially since it is way closer to me than the one upsate, don't have to pay tolls. I wish they had more shoes to pick from, but the clothing items were amazing quality. The clothing was so cheap and I found so much cute dresses and shirts for the summer. This Place is awful never shop here and definitely don't try to sell gently used baby clothes because they will wait till you leave the store and call you about an hour later to say they can't take anything. The only thing I can think of is that they're hoping you wont come back for them because I was told that perfectly new never worn (still tagged & bagged) had an odor of smoke. Now mind you I don't smoke and they were in a smoke-free house in bags brand new never worn so it couldn't be someone else's 3rd hand smoke either. The store is always a mess and everything is also overpriced. the staff just don't want to respect the franchise policy of taking gently used clothes so they come up with any reason to say they cant take them and hope that you won't come back for them. I went here to buy stuff, not sell, and had a good experience. They didn't have the exersaucer I wanted, but I bought a $50 shopping cart cover for $8.50 (a little faded but fine) and a 5-puzzle Sesame Street puzzle book for $2.50. There were a TON of clothes and all the things I saw looked to be in good shape, but I just looked quickly. They had lots of books too, and toys big and small. I'd definitely go back, and the cashier told me you can call ahead to ask after a specific item like an exersaucer. read more

Visited once upon a child in Seaford a few times. Brought in several boxes each time but most of the items they did not take even though they looked new. That didn't bother me as much as the terrible customer service I received. It doesn't hurt to say hello or good morning. I walked in and three people behind the counter did not even look up. I signed in and waited until one girl took my boxes. Then she took the boxes and went through them, handed me a few dollars and gave me most of my stuff back. Won't be going there again. read more

Had a chance to visit & although the outside of the store was not impressive, I did like what I found on the inside. Specifically, they had a nice selection of toys for a variety of age ranges, and the condition was good considering what they were asking. In addition to some neat toys, was also able to pick up a Halloween costume for $3.50, a good variety of clothes that were either never used or used once & a jogger stroller, valued at $110 for half the price. After careful examination, I'm not sure if the stroller was used at all. The one thing that could have made my visit better was if they could be flexible on prices. For instance, since I purchased quite a few things I was hoping they could take a few dollars off of the one toy I picked up. The staff, although very nice, unfortunately don't have the authority to make those deals. But will definitely return, and follow-up with a possible selling experience. read more

This place has teenage girls working there who pretty much just talk the whole time and barely work or go through your stuff. They stop after each outfit to talk and buttoned a couple of onesies in 10 minutes and that wasn't even close to being done with the bag of stuff. They could do a lot more business if they actually did what they were supposed to. They pretty much take nothing so I won't be easing any time here again. Very upsetting experience. The store posted a stroller that I really wanted on their Instagram. I contacted them early morning to make sure it is still available, they told me it was. I asked if they offer holds on items, they said they do as long as it's picked up by 5 pm that same day (which is very fair). I told them I would be there after 2pm to pick up the stroller. They said they will reserved it, they took down my name and number. After driving over an hour with 3 kids in the car to pick up the stroller I arrived at 2:50 pm. I introduced myself to the cashier and told her there was a stroller on hold for me. She couldn't locate the stroller, she made a phone call and was told that the stroller was already sold by accident. It was very upsetting and I wish the saved me the trip and the gas money. I understand they sold it but they could have called me apologized and let me know that it was no longer available. I won't be coming here again. read more
