Dirty Dick is a very fun French take on a tiki bar in the middle of Paris' Montmartre area. It was good, but I'd say it wasn't crazy strong. My wife got the Miami Vice Negroni and we both thought it was meh. Being as you're in Montmartre, there are plenty of bars to visit. I'd definitely make Dirty Dick a spot to visit if you're doing a crawl.

I ordered the painkiller my first time around and it was perfection! The atmosphere of tiki music, Caribbean-inspired artwork and leis and tiki shields adorning the walls transported me to a beach in the Bahamas for a few minutes. We knew we had to come back our last night and did so! I ordered the Miami Vice Negroni and it was a complex drink. I still can't determine if I liked it or didn't. I got different sweet and bitter notes each sip. My husband got the extra grog strength drink and it was a hit! Do yourself a favor and come here! You won't regret the slight deviation from wine and champagne and enjoy the reprieve!

I think the reason you see brunch items in these pictures here is because they are sister restaurants and I bet the pics are mixed together because of that. On that fateful day I immediately knew that I would return someday...yes, I put that out in the universe, and thankfully the universe listened! Living in California and having an obsession with all things coffee and brunch is easy with so many options available (gotta love that California lifestyle!), but sometimes it's a challenge to satisfy these cravings when traveling in other countries. Well thank goodness Holybelly exists in one of my all-time favorite cities, Paris, and it has become one of my go-to spots when I get to travel here. This most recent visit, I had my usual Eggs with Sides (usually the sautéed mushrooms and green salad). My boyfriend had the Eggs with hash browns and beans so we could try a little bit of everything. We were hungrier than usual because we literally had just arrived in Paris from San Francisco, so despite our exhaustion from 15 hours of flights and layovers, we had our hearts set on making this our 1st stop! No time to waste! Food was amazing as usual, hit the spot perfectly, and our Flat Whites were rich and creamy. The only negative thing is that they don't have milk alternatives like almond milk or soy milk, but when in Europe, we don't get too picky because we know their dairy is much better quality anyway. It was wonderful to get to meet the owners Sarah and Nico this time as well, and they were incredibly welcoming and friendly when I decided to go up to them and introduce myself. You guys have a lifelong fan here in California, and I can't wait to return to Paris to checkout Holybelly 2 when it opens!!

The burgers were not up to the high reviews, in my opinion. Perhaps, the owners have changed, or the menus have changed since the last reviews. I can't really explain. The meat was nothing exceptional, besides the fact that it was said to be organic. It tasted like any regular frozen beef patties bought at the store. The stuffing was very basic, and the sauce... the sauce could have made up for everything else, but it unfortunately didn't cut it either. It tasted like ketchup thrown on the bun. As for the fries...they came out between barely warm & cold. As I said, I really wished it was a great experience. On the plus side, I like the way it was plated. I like the sturdy silver tray. That is something that stands out from most burger places. Also, the buns were tender and tasty. No tables inside. Only outside eating...3 tables. I see that mostly people take it to go.

We came here as tourists and don't speak any French and there was a nice man who was bartending amongst many other things and he took the time to show us photos of the food on his phone.
