The restroom was VERY clean and you don't have to touch anything after you wash your hands. I like that. I also grabbed a Topo Chico and some flaming hot cheetos, used the self checkout, and I was on my way. The only downside, there is not an entrance back on the highway, going south, so you have to head down the feeder road a bit.

We placed our order and bought fountain drinks and sat in a booth while we waited for our order. We ordered one large Italian sausage and one Combo pizza. They took off $4.99 because we ordered two pizzas. The store looked clean and the employees that helped us were all very friendly. When our pizzas were ready they gave us a little bag with pepper and parmesan cheese. (Which I appreciate because Pizza Hut now charges for cheese!) So we hopped on the highway to hurry back home to Del City to try out the pizza that my husband loved as a kid to see how it would measure up to his memories of his favorite pizza and we both agreed it smelled just like we remember it! And seeing as how I've visited a Love's almost every day for 18 months, I know you guys can move the scanner to scan something and don't have to actually handle what someone is holding. So refusing to sell to me because I didn't want what I was purchasing touched again by someone, and speaking to me that way, was uncalled for. But let me break down my thought process since it's obviously so important that she decided to tell me "I stock those anyways," On average germs only stay on plastic for 72 hours at most, less in cold. I choose the 3rd or 4th item from the front so it's less likely I'm touching anything with something still on it. Why? Because I had mononucleosis back in 2019 when working for McDonalds and then not giving me a break so I had to handle cash and then eat in between. And since then, it has reactivated about 5 times, and I have had strep throat 3 times within 13 months since Jan 2024, 2 of which caused me to reactivate with mono. Do you know what it's like to be so physically exhausted for 6-8 weeks straight that you can barely work 4-6 hours at a time without almost breaking into a fever? No? I do. So next time a customer asks you to accommodate them, maybe just do what they ask instead of being a jerk. It's taken me years to gain back my immune system. And seeing as how she was eating a grape and touching her mouth while working, I didn't want her to touch what I was touching. In case you don't know, mono is contracted by saliva. Thank you for making me very uncomfortable.

QuikTrip (QT) May 28, 2026…read more (3/5) QuikTrip is a brand I genuinely like and have come to rely on, especially when I lived in Texas, so I had certain expectations walking into this location. As a store, it was fine -- clean, well-organized, well-stocked, with the food and drinks you'd expect from any QT. None of the fundamentals were missing. What was missing for me was the warmth. At the QT locations I got used to in Texas, you can't even step through the door without a staff member calling out a friendly "welcome in!" -- it's almost a brand signature down there, and it sets the tone for the whole visit. At this location, I walked in and got nothing. No greeting, no acknowledgment, just business as usual. It's a small detail, but it's the kind of small detail that separates a great convenience store stop from just a transaction. The store itself does its job and there's nothing wrong with it. But if QT as a brand is going to keep that warm, friendly culture as part of what makes it stand out from every other gas station and convenience store, the team at this location could take a page from their Texas counterparts. Price wasn't terrible, so no complaints there. The contactless tap to pay at the pump actually worked also!! A very slow progress for gas stations, but I love love love not having to pull out my wallet and paying with my Apple Watch instead. Inside was solid also. I have it down to science: order my bacon egg and cheese taco, get my iced coffee, pay for both, pick up the taco. And there were no hitches this time!! The iced coffee from the fresh grind machines went up to $2.99 which feels high for gas station coffee, but I'm just being nitpicky. I'll definitely remember this OnCue for the future.

I just saw his tongue come out twice as he bent to lick whatever it was. The bottom of the window impeded my view of what he was holding. Then as he waited for my drink to fill up, he picked his nose and then touched the cup, put the lid on it, and gave it to me.
