The drinks were fantastic, too; both the honey cinnamon latte and London fog hit the spot. They bring out bread with herb oil while you look at the menu and honestly I forgot how much I like that combo, ate way more of it than I should have before the food even showed up. Has a great lunch at Harvey Bakery today. Provided great vibes and friendly service as always. Started off sharing a cinnamon roll warmed which was flavorful and carried a great crisp on the bottom. I'm partial to cinnamon rolls with raisins and almonds which this did not have but was a delicious treat to start off our experience. The Tomato Orzo soup was fantastic, a creamy blend tomato with more complexity than your normal tomato soup. Will definitely come back just for this in the future. Loved this place! It was very artsy and open. There was lots of seating, but it was very busy for lunch. The selection of pastries looked amazing. I tried the vanilla bean brownie and a bite of the absolute fudge cookie and both were great. The 2 for $12 meal was a pretty good deal and I really enjoyed the Chet Club and fruit. The sweet peach iced tea was so good and the self-serve water and beverage area was convenient. Service was pretty quick and all the employees were very friendly, helpful, and professional. It was fun to see into the bakery kitchen through the windows. The restroom situation was sort of back-rooms feeling, but not inconvenient. LOCAL FAVORITE: If you are visiting from out of town, this is absolutely a spot you want to check out when you are in OKC. Healthy options and delectable treats, this bakery is a charming cafe located just north of Midtown. They also offer loaves of freshly baked bread! Today is a Friday and I decided to walk in around 6:45am. I ordered their avocado and egg sandwich with bacon & was convinced to try their seasonal Vanilla Pumpkin Cappuccino. I opted to go light on the vanilla pumpkin since I ordered a sweet treat to go. It was PERFECT. Sat at a cute little 2 top with lounge chairs (see my pics for a peek at the setup!). Such a relaxing morning. Their dining room has an assortment of chairs and tables and rugs on a gorgeous tile floor. If the food doesn't win you over, the aesthetics will! They even have an upstairs with additional seating that I believe can be rented out for special events. Their bathrooms are located in the back down a hall. There are signs that will direct you. Their staff is also incredibly sweet and helpful if you need assistance. You can choose to bus your own dishes or leave at table with a tip. Really wonderful gem of a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. I have been here before and had the really good coffee. This time I got here early enough to enjoy some of their great pastries. Now the spanakopita pastry was not what I expected. It had a lime flavor that I did not love and it was even a little spicy, which I was not a fan of. The cheddar and green onion scone was amazing and definitely what I would choose next time. Their lunch sandwiches and salads that others had ordered looked incredible and it makes me want to try the lunch. Everyone told me I HAD to go here when I was in town for softball. The hype was reaching fevered levels so I went. Day 1 - I just missed breakfast and wanted one of the breakfast sandwiches so I left. Dumb mistake. Should have gotten something else! I did return Day 2. The breakfast sandwich was terrible. I hate saying that but I should have known to stick with the baked goods. I got the bacon egg and cheese. The problem is the bacon was so thick and hard, it was impossible to actually bite through the bacon and the bread, especially because I have sensitivity with my front teeth. The egg barely existed. Just a thin piece of nothingness. I was quite disappointed. Then I got the special, which was the banana pudding cruffin. Also disappointing. I was getting upset and thinking to myself how could I order the two worst things on this incredible menu? I also got a croissant and kouign amann and those two pastries restored my belief in this place. Sad about the fact that I didn't find this gem of a cafe sooner. This huge space offers two floors of seats, upstairs seems quieter and the ground floor is for the crowds. It can sometimes be tough to snag a table esp if its for a bigger group, tons of brunching or lunching folks on any given day of the week but at least there's lots of movement and you can hopefully get lucky. The food itself is quality stuff. I loved the seasonal cruffins, sourdough, focaccia, the sandos (BEC, avo & egg), tomato & orzo soup, and I just adore the lattes (pumpkin vanilla, dark choc orange). Out of all the bakeries I have been to, this one is nearly at the top of the list. I have been to this bakery a handful of times now, and it has never once caused a reason for disappointment. My favorite items are their chicken salad sandwich, tomato soup, and most importantly the raspberry almond croissant. You are occasionally met with a longer line, but that is a testament to the quality of dish that people are willing to wait for. For their coffee, they serve the best, Onyx. I particularly like the iced americano with their pumpkin cold foam (when in season). The environment is full of light from all of the windows, which creates a beautiful and spacious room to enjoy your food and coffee. read more

Many pros and a few cons so let's get started! Pros: AMAZING intoxicating smell as soon as the door opens. Avacado and Egg Sandwich with bacon was delicious!! The bread was a tad tough to bite through so if you have trouble chewing, maybe pass on the sandwich. But the greens were dressed in a vinaigrette that offset the rich cream cheese and egg yolk perfectly. Definitely add bacon! So so so good! Biscuits are delicious! Vanilla bean brownie is very tasty and sweet, but also very rich. Flavor of Raspberry Almond Croissant was awesome!! Bathrooms have private stalls where no one can see you doing your business, such a small thing but really elevated the place!! Okay, now for the cons: I loved my sandwich, however it was quite messy to eat, not a con for everyone, I just prefer a less messy sandwich, but the flavor was so good I was willing to deal with the extra napkin wipes. Gravy on the biscuit was gritty and not a pleasant flavor. Their potatoes have great flavor however leave a film in your mouth from grease. Coffee had an odd after taste, definitely not the best coffee I've had, and they ran out when I went for a second cup. Not a fan of having to go get my own drinks at a place that expects a tip for simply ringing up your food and carrying it to the table. The croissant has good flavor, however it was extremely dry, the powder sugar got everywhere, so don't wear black pants like I did if ordering this, and I ended up taking the top off and just eating the jelly covered bottom to avoid the dry top and powder sugar. I loved the private stalls in the bathroom, but the door swings in, so I had to squash myself against the dirty toilet to get the door open to leave the stall. Maybe change the doors to swing out. The restaurant is large with a huge open dining space, causing a very loud cafeteria sound, made it hard to enjoy conversation. Over all a pleasant experience, would definitely return to try other menu items, but plan on avoiding the drip coffee on my next trip. read more

The lines were long on Saturday morning but with patience we were able to get outdoor seating with our two dogs, people do hang around and chill so sometimes you won't get any covered outside seating. Ordered the half chicken salad sandwich & half Caesar salad while my husband got the Harvey club. They make their bread and pasteries in house & you can even ask for some of their sourdough starter! I have been wanting to go here since it opened and today I finally got a chance. I am glad that I went despite the long line. The line moved pretty fast and the customers did not linger so by the time we put our order in we had a seat. I got the hot turkey, roasted potatoes, chicken sausage,a regular croissant , chocolate almond croissant and a blondie. The sandwich was actually pretty good and I would eat it again. The potatoes were under cooked to me they were still cold and hard when they came out, I did get a chance to get another order and they were hot, but they still was a little harder than I like. The chicken sausage was overcooked I tried to use my fork to cut them. The pastries I have not tried yet but they look delicious and I got a side of honey butter to put on my regular croissant that I will eat for breakfast.
