I should start by saying he has Down syndrome. After the first time he received a bad haircut, I went in with him for his next cut, and spoke with the stylist to make sure she wouldn't further cut into the mistake that was clearly made by the prior stylist. At that time, his haircut was fine. The next time he went in, I was not with him. He went in alone while someone who drove him waited outside. Since he is special needs and he's not inspecting the back of his head like "normal "customers would. I did not see him for a couple of days and when I saw this was too furious to waste time on a business that would mess up a disabled mans hair repeatedly and let him walk around looking so foolish without caring. If you look at the picture attached, I don't know how any stylist would not drop the shears immediately, profusely apologize and refuse to take any payment. It is disgusting to me--not that they give bad haircuts, but--that they don't think disabled men are worthy of looking and feeling their best.

My barber was Brandon, Brandon started off by asking me what type of haircut I wanted, he also asked permission to put his own spin on it. Brandon then told me his back ground story which I thought was a nice touch. My hair cut came out awesome...I was really impressed at how Brandon took his time with my hair cut and how much pride he takes in his work. If I could change one thing it would be the music. I don't need to hear, wall thumping loud rave music while I get my hair cut. Put it this way, I give Brandon 5 stars, I give Atomic 5 stars and the music a negative 5....if that makes sense.

He tried to show Charlie a video and he didn't really even watch. He left with a high taper and didn't even cut top at all or blend sides well or line up anything. It also wasn't even when hair was pulled up, kinda messy (see pics). I had pre-paid and pre-tipped ahead. My son didn't feel comfortable saying anything because he didn't want him to make it worse. Definitely not the worst cut he's had but not the best. It's low key $15 anywhere else to just do an undercut which is basically what he left with. The shop itself is clean, busy, has free parking and a dog that greets patrons. Staff are all nice. We arrived early and waited in waiting area and he took him a few minutes early so it's not like he was rushed. Nice guy but probably won't return.

I caller first thing in the morning and scheduled an appointment at 1130. I showed up early at 1120, just in case. A few minutes after I arrived, another person arrived, also with an 1130 appointment with the same barber. It turns out the barber had forgotten to mark me on the schedule and taken a second appointment at the same time. He told me he was going to take the other customer first, and it would only be about 10 minutes. I was going to wait, but after 15 minutes I had to leave because I had other things I needed to get done on my day off. A short while later, I received this text: "Understand that im a barber. Appointments are approximate times. Not set in stone. My chair was open at 11:45. You would have still been finished by 12 noon. I book 30 min Appointments. So you walking out because your vagina was full of sand this morning is highly offensive. And next time you make a face at me will probably not wnd well for you. Have a great day. " I've never in my life seen such a blatant display of unprofessionalism as this, not even considering the low-key threat at the end of the text. I'd like to hope that the barber was just having a very bad day, as I'd never seen this kind of behavior from him before. Even so, I'll be getting my hair cut elsewhere from now on.

The owner works a lot himself and store has very reasonable hours. Sometimes until 8:00 at night! Call ahead just to make sure. I've been a customer for probably 4-5 years now won't go anywhere else, don't care about the wait whether I'm lucky and get right in or 20 minutes or an hour. It's worth it. I was almost scared to look in the mirror because I figured there was absolutely no way she could get a full set in. But I was pleasantly surprised! My eyelashes look super thick, long, and natural. Whatever you need...Braids, weaves, extensions, waxing/ threading eyebrows and whatever, eyelash extensions, hair cuts, styling, wash/dry/style, blowouts, etc. They do it all here! My favorite things to get are done by Shorty. She's the BEST with braids, extensions and weaves and i always leave here feeling like a rock star! Also, I prefer to get my eyebrows and top lip waxed, and Shorty does a great job with classic waxing. Prices range per salon, and by stylist typically..Shorty is very reasonably ranged based on whatever you get done. Appointment is a must with Shorty as she books weeks in advance...but they do take walk-ins too. For things like men's cuts, fades and other styles. Come get it!! You won't be disappointed!
