Rupa is ridiculously fast and thorough with her lash extension work. I had had this service done before and it took about three hours to do a full set. When she told me that she could get it done in one hour before I had to head to my client... I almost didn't believe her! But she had me in and out, as promised, within that timeframe. I was almost scared to look in the mirror because I figured there was absolutely no way she could get a full set in. But I was pleasantly surprised! My eyelashes look super thick, long, and natural. She used mink lashes. I feel like a diva now! I I am trying to book a fill with her in two weeks as well as a facial and eyebrow threading before my cruise. My favorite salon, and nice location in Cranston. Good community vibe here. Street parking only. Salon chairs are cleaned between clients. Clean unisex restroom. I always feel comfortable here. Nice, family-friendly environment. Whatever you need...Braids, weaves, extensions, waxing/ threading eyebrows and whatever, eyelash extensions, hair cuts, styling, wash/dry/style, blowouts, etc. They do it all here! My favorite things to get are done by Shorty. She's the BEST with braids, extensions and weaves and i always leave here feeling like a rock star! Also, I prefer to get my eyebrows and top lip waxed, and Shorty does a great job with classic waxing. Prices range per salon, and by stylist typically..Shorty is very reasonably ranged based on whatever you get done. Appointment is a must with Shorty as she books weeks in advance...but they do take walk-ins too. For things like men's cuts, fades and other styles. Come get it!! This review is for the lash threading and eyelash services inside the salon by Rupa. I was encouraged by the positive reviews in Groupon and decided to purchase a lash extension with two-week fill deal. My first time and I didn't know what to expect. Rupa did a good job on the lashes. However, her service price is on the higher side and considering that her spot was inside the Atomic Salon, and she was doing a factory kind of turnover almost, and failing to change the sheet in between clients, or wiping down and spraying or any obvious display of cleaning, the rate does not seem justified. Also, getting a follow up appointment is a challenge. Good job if you are seeking no frill, in and out job. That's exactly what you will get. As you are preparing to leave, the other customer is being motioned to come in to the room and a tapping on the bed means that customer, like you, should lie down and get ready. read more

I heard about Rupa's lashes online so I decided to go for it since my other technician is not available on the days I'm off from work. I was so surprised by how great everything was. Rupa was very nice and a great conversationalist. She made my lashes long and didn't miss one lash. I highly recommend her for your lashes. The Atomic Salon is awesome! I'm new to town and I am looking for somewhere decent to get a fade. Keep in mind that I am coming from Chicago where I only go to one person. So it's kinda scary going to a new person. So far I had 3 different so/so experience at other barbershops... I've been trying a new one each time I need a cut. The latest stop I checked out was Atomic Salon. I called the day of for an appointment and had no issues getting in. The place is pretty nice, nothing too fancy and I felt comfortable. As far as the haircut goes; well they took their time to get it done right, it looked good and maybe my best fade in Rhode Island. It seems like guys hair cuts are either really expensive or super cuts cheap these days. So it's nice to see a place at the middle ground, $15. I found my new spot! Imma come back! read more

Got my lashes done purchased from Groupon whole time while doing my lashes she's talking on the phone in the middle of doing my lashes she stops to take care of another customer and does their eyebrows after she's done with me she informed me not to book through Groupon because they take 40% of the payment and she's doesn't get much out of it didn't even give me a brush for my lashes and my lashes only lasted 3 days never again read more

Been a customer since '94. I had an issue with a cut for my son, called Pumpkin and he fixed it for us. Joe is an excellent barber as well... I don't know the girls name who does braids but she is awesome, if you need braids or a recommendation she is legit. If ur looking to get your son's hair cut see one of the two barbers mentioned you'll be glad you did. read more
