I couldn't leave him in the house alone while at work because he would (literally) make himself sick with worry. Connie welcomed us as new clients and, as she is a generous, wonderful person, we became fast friends. She has steadily been there for me and my Hubie over the years. Weekdays, weekends, overnights, in a pinch at times with little notice... sending me cute pictures throughout the day of my boy, feeding him, giving him medicine when needed, taking him to the groomer, going on little walking adventures, giving him a little brush 'n fluff from time to time... I even moved back east and she still couldn't get rid of me! When I come back to Olympia periodically for my current job, I bring Hubie simply because I know he misses her. Connie has enriched both our lives and I'm so happy to call her a dear friend.

I was reassured by daily messages and photos that all was well with my pup. She has also been available for last minute overnights which has been very convenient and appreciated. Definitely recommend!

When I came to pick them up she asked me if I wanted her to bring them to the front. I said yes, but to bring them one at a time since my bitch was in heat. Next thing I see is she is coming out with both dogs. I grabbed one of the dogs and said "No. She is in heat." The groomer responded with "I did not know that". It's one thing to make a mistake but another to lie about it. Additionally, I wrote a letter describing this situation to the owner, Vicki. The manager replied with an email. To it she attached video footage of the event. In this email she attempted to explain why the groomer came out with both dogs together. I had several people read this email to see if they could understand the explanation it. They could not. In this email the manager also tried to rephrase the groomer's statement as"'I didn't know you didn't want me to walk them together because we had just talked about that in the grooming office." It's a good thing they had the video footage because it clearly shows the groomer saying "I did not know that" in response to me saying "No. she is in heat" when she brought them out together. Again I had several people read the email. They couldn't understand it either. The email did not contain one word of apology, which would have gone a long way. I just got an email saying that they had cancelled my future boarding appointments...petty.

She gets so excited when we pull in, pulls us to the door and doesn't even turn around to say goodbye when the lead her out into the dog area. I have no hesitations at all leaving her here since I know she is so happy to be there. The staff is super friendly and you can tell that they love dogs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We do not have her do play time with the other dogs, but she is in her own fenced area and runs around all day. Do note their hours before you go to drop of, or pick up your dog. They are closed for an hour for lunch. I remembered this the hard way by forgetting once and having to sit out in the hot sun for 50 minutes until they opened again!

They say they eed the dogs at 7 , when i picked up my dog they told me he already had dinner and i was there at 3 ? For 9 years he dont ever want cuddles or pets , hes a fetch driven dog 24hr a day i highly doubt, he wanna love and cuddles and pets. Anyway the communication, the feeding and their daily reports.\nHave a bad taste for my mouth.I will try somewhere else next time

I have done their basic obedience classes, sports classes, one on one training advice and also their chaotic canine course for my reactive dog. All of my dogs that have attended classes here now have a stronger bond with me, listen great, and my reactive pup is leaps and bounds better than he was when we began. If you are looking to build a life-long bond with your dog through training and proper handling backed by real, current science, without using pain or negative training methods, and want to see positive and life-changing results, choose Happy Dog!

I gained a solid foundation with positive reinforcement training that set us up for success. I've also worked with Emma with a rescue dog who had major fear and aggression issues. I found Emma to be very knowledgeable and appreciated the advice and insight she gave us and the program she put us on. Don't expect them to train your dog for you, that's not something that any trainer can do unless you're prepared to essentially hire them as a part time employee for an extended period of time. Dog training takes time and consistency. Do expect them to set you up to be able to put in the time working with your dog, use positive reinforcement methods that are proven to help animal minds learn better than stressful punishment based methods (not to say I don't believe there's never a time to reprimand a dog for bad behavior, just saying reprimands don't help anyone learn good behavior which is the purpose of training) and answer your questions. I look forward to working with them in the future!
