Andy is prooooobably my puppy's favorite person. To my dog, he's like the favorite cool uncle you wished you could live with when you were a kid, but mom and dad made you stay home. But seriously, Andy is the best. He's an awesome guy, great to work with and incredibly knowledgeable about dogs. Any behavioral issues that come up with my GSD puppy, he lets me know right away and tells me how we can work on it. I'm so thankful to have Andy just a text or phone call away. Beat money I ever spent! Karen trained us how to better communicate with our dog, and how to be better dog parents by taking the stress of the job off Chacco of being the parent! As a result of Karen teaching us how to lead, Chacco doesn't take us for a walk, doesnt get so distracted by other animals on our walks, doesn't come thru the door like a wild dog, is getting much better at food aggression ... and I can't wait to see how he is with his vet anxiety! I feel so fortunate to have found Andrew to take care of my little dog, Henry, while I attended a funeral north of Seattle. I moved to downtown Seattle in October, and my already socially anxious and hyperactive dog's undesirable behaviors got even worse -- he developed leash aggression and general growliness around other dogs. While I know he's actually a big chicken, he does have a pretty intimidating bark, so I decided to look for a sitter I could trust to help him with these issues. Domo instantly took to Andy, and I'm happy to know that he has a home base here with plenty of other dogs to hang around and a human who actually cares about their well being. He's also super accommodating of my schedule and I appreciate the general flexibility. My dog is a shiba mix, so he'll always be some level of stubborn and naughty, but Andy brings out his better side, and I notice small improvements in his behavior every time I've left him there for a couple of days. My dog's Happiest Place on Earth! You know that feeling you get when some name-brand store with a side-gig in dog-sitting gives you that list with "$50 for an hour of playtime" and such? And your dog comes home full of energy like he's slept all day? That's not Andy at Dog-Buddies. Our dog is sooooo happy to see Andy, there's no nickel-and-dime charge for everything, and he plays solid. Our dog comes home happy, exhausted. We have a Jack Russell, which is a breed easily bored, able to escape, and full of energy, yet he comes home just spent and happy. Andy sometimes gets tied up with tardy customers. I would suggest some leeway when scheduling to meet up. We always try Andy first. If he's busy, we reluctant try another, but Andy is our first choice every time. read more

Andy is the quintessential dog person. He absolutely and unconditionally loves dogs and dogs absolutely love him. He has an intuitive understanding of dog behavior and is sensitive and patient even with behaviorally difficult dogs. We have a 4 year old lab/pit mix rescue with crippling separation anxiety. Our dog is a wonderful pup, but he's strong and a demonstrated escape artist (he's escaped from every crate we've put him in except his current padlocked velociraptor cage; he taught himself how to open doors and dug his way through a deck at our old house), so he needs 24 hr attention. Andy has been a godsend in helping us care for our problem pup! He is consistently available, even on relatively short notice, and our dog is IN LOVE with him and his pack! I've been taking my Doberman, Doni, to Andy for a few months now. He goes almost 5 days a week, usually just for the day but he does the odd overnight too. Doni was extremely anxious at first when I began leaving him. The first week was a bit rough, he cried a bunch and didn't socialize with the others dogs much, but he quickly began warming up to Andy and the dogs. Now when he sees Andy coming he gets very excited which lets me know that he's in good hands. He comes home at the end of the day exhausted so I know Andy does a great job keeping them active. I feel much better with a dog sitter like Andy who I know is keeping my boy active and giving him attention rather than a doggy daycare where they're just in a pen all day and taking them for walks will cost you extra. I think it's a much more personal experience this way. I've gotten to know Andy and all the other dogs that Doni hangs out with. He's a great friend and I just love being around all those happy dogs. I often get pictures of Doni on walks, at the park, or cuddling with the other dogs. When Andy takes some time off, which isn't often, he has had Jen and Elijah help out with watching the dogs. They have both been great, I trust them both with Doni and I trust Andy's judgement with who he gets to help him. read more

We love Andy! Lexie is our 4 legged baby and full of energy, she can be a handful but loves other dogs and people. We recently moved from Austin and were searching for a close and affordable option for boarding Lexie, which we discovered was not easy to find in downtown Seattle. I found Andy on Yelp and met him at the local dog park and instantly loved his energy with his pack of dogs and how quickly Lexie integrated with them. We have left Lexie with Andy multiple times and are always pleased. Every time she sees him at the dog park she goes nuts - she loves him and his whole pack and that makes it so easy to leave her when we travel. I know she is happy and well taken care of, he is sweet enough to even send us pictures of their adventures and updates. Dogs are Andy's life. He has a genuine and intuitive understanding of his pack, and my Sheltie absolutely loves him. Andy cares for him overnight several times a month when I travel, and we visit with him and his pack often at the dog park. My dog has always been friendly and out-going with both people and dogs when off-leash (at the dog park), but he used to growl and snarl at other dogs passing by when he was on leashed walks. Since hanging out with Andy and his pack, this aggressive, unfriendly behavior has (almost) completely stopped. I've been trying to figure out how to curb this behavior for eight years, Andy fixed it in just a few visits. read more

We love Andy! We started leaving our golden retriever puppy, Eddie, with Andy when she was only about 10 weeks old and he kept great care of her! UPDATE: we left Ari with Andy for 10 days while we were on vacation and I can't recommend him enough for boarding. Our dog improved even more so and had a great time. Andy is truly a dog whisperer and I felt safe leaving my dog in his care for such a long time! Andy is a miracle worker! We moved from central Indiana to Seattle with our very socially anxious 4 year old dog. After a few months of maladjustment we decided we had to get our dog some training classes so she could at least function in the city. After one session she was hanging out with other dogs without having a complete meltdown but after about 6 weeks she's a brand new dog that loves other animals and there is no longer anxiety for her or us. Andy is really great with dogs, knowledgeable, and really cares about your dogs well being. I highly recommend him for training services and walking. Ari loves her new found friends and we love that she's no longer uncomfortable in a city full of other dogs. read more
