I am a kamaaina visitor to Maui. 61yr old female with a tiny Macys bag. I was immediately told VERY nicely that I'd have to leave it at the register as bags are not allowed during shopping. So I said I'd just wait for my husband outside. It seemed like just too much of a hassle as we were just browsing. Felt kinda insulted and after thinking about it decided it was such a terrible idea of theirs. Most purchases are made when someone is just browsing and I think that leaves a bad taste for people AND keeps them out of your store!! I'll probably never return. read more

I'm on the other side of the island so I might get back there before the 10-day return policy, which I wasn't aware of until I read other reviews here. Have bought many gifts here and love their one of a kind designs. However their policies need help. My husband bought some T-shirts for our son and himself. After returning home he tried on and it was a little snug. Tried to exchange for a large at the 12 day mark and was told no can. They had a ton of this same design on display and yet they wouldn't allow. I understand no returns but a size exchange? Too bad I typically get holiday gifts here but won't return. read more

Great store with local products, but corporate policies. Brought in a gifted sweater to exchange, but was told I absolutely needed a gift receipt to exchange it and there were no exceptions. As a local store with mostly local customers, I don't think this is how you should treat them. I offered to give the phone number linked with the purchase on their rewards system, but the worker didn't budge. Everything was going good till I ran into the twink dweeb with the glasses. I politely Asked if they had different sizes and this nerd just looked at me and laughed and looked at me like I just asked him the worlds most stupid question lol. Anytime I asked a question that little twink had an attitude not sure why. My partner said something to me about it after we left also. And on top of that she asked him about her kama'aina and he got a whole attitude again and told her they never did it. Crazy weird people. I was denied an exchange of a brand new/unworn pair of pants because it was past their Ridiculous TEN day return rule. I spent over $150 here and to stick me with something I can't wear just because of policy is pretty bad customer service. I am really disappointed because I wanted to support and recommend this store with all the supportive Hawaiin items. They have a LOT to learn about how to treat customers/people. They could resell the brand new pants I was returning and not cost them a penny to take care of me, but instead stick to POLICY. read more

So sorry to leave a bad review for a small local business, but here is the complaint. My son bought my husband a tee shirt for his birthday. My husband went back to exchange it for one size up. It's in the bag, has the tags on it and it is obviously unworn, but my teenage son lost the receipt. Yup, absolutely no exchange without the receipt. I get it if there is something questionable about the item but it's very obviously unworn, we don't want to return it, just get a larger size. They said it's because they have a 2 week return policy and my husband didn't know the purchase date AND time. I know the date was last Tues, not even a week ago, but not the time. They wouldn't lose anything by exchanging the shirt, but now they have lost customers by not exchanging it. read more

Love this shop for all things local. They support brands like Most Hi, Hawaii's Finest, 808 All Day and so many more. My only gripe is they don't have pricetags on anything. You literally have to keep asking how much things are which is an annoying shopping process. I'm not sure why they do this (hence the 4 stars). However, the guys working the shop are always super friendly and helpful. Please guys, change it up and price things visibly for your customers!! Other than that, definitely stop in to pick up your Hawaii made brands and support local businesses. read more

Poor customer service! They are nice when you buy stuff but try returning it even with a receipt ,he claimed I was 1 day too late for Christmas returns, told him my husband doesn't like the wallet we just want to exchange it,he said no returns you missed it by 1 day ,I'm like seriously this wallet was 35$ we have no use for it ,he didn't care. I bought lots of stuff not to mention they are already overpriced was shopping for Christmas but never again will I shop there ...1 shirt is even coming apart from it's seem 1st wear but wasn't even trying to return that ....will let all my friends and family know don't buy from them ,at least trying to keep it local but can't with people like this. I had ordered a Hawaiian shaved ice hydroflask from several other sellers only to have them take my $$ and never send the product. I took one last chance with 180 Maui (as it was a gift for my daughter) and I could not be more happy. Placing the order was easy, I was sent a USPS shipping notice, and the item arrived the day promised. Not only that, but they packaged the item fantastically. I highly recommend you not shop here. I went into this store and purchased two shirts for my husband's birthday. When I spoke to a sales rep, I explained that it was my 1st time buying from this establishment. My husband needed new shirts, and we typically buy them from Vans. But I wanted to support a local brand. The sales associate assured me that I would be able to exchange the shirt if it didn't work for my husband. He even went as far as offering for me to trade something for myself. Which honestly sold me. So my husband liked 1 of the two shirts and wanted to exchange the 2nd one for a different size. We went back to the store this time together, and we were prepared to buy more shirts this trip. Both for myself and husband. But when I explained to the lady sales associate she quickly denied us and said if we purchased outside of 2 week window we would not be able to do so. So now we are stuck with a shirt that doesn't fit. We went to Vans and spent our $200 there. I went as far as messaging the business IG account to see if they would redeem. But the response I received was. Sorry for the inconvenience and the policy is posted next to the cash register. I will not be returning to this store and I will definitely be spreading the word to all locals to not to give money to this place. read more

Came for a drop and found out quick how much this is not for me. People arguing over who was in line first, though rules were clearly stated online and people still lined up prior and felt they were right. Where as I listened to security themselves, came to park at 4am and waited to enter the mall from the parking structure until 4:30am and still got cut in front of by people who didn't listen, got kicked out and felt the had the right to be first. So unorganized. If they are going to do things like product drops, they should clearly set boundaries and rules and people need to abide by them or don't have them at all. So sloppy. I wasted so much time and people were so reluctant to follow rules they almost cut the drop completely. What a waste of my birthday. Thought it would be unforgettable in a positive way, not a horrible one. read more

Awesome place with all the local street style urban kine clothing especially their signature brand 808 all day! My crew and I came here for the first time and were greeted very kindly by the one worker that was there at the time. He told us about all of the specials that they have at the moment and stuff and agreed for us to cruise around for a bit. The staff and customer service is good. The prices are pretty decent for everything. This place is located on the second floor of the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center. You cannot really miss it as it is located on a corner on one part of the area on the second floor. Since my crew and I live on O'ahu, we mostly got the 808 all day brand stuff since it is exclusive to Maui. Everything else like In4mations, Crooks and Castle, Defend Hawaii, etc. O'ahu already get. The store has many varieties like Defend Hawai'i, The Hundreds, In4Mation, HUF, Nixon, Illest, etc. The only problem is there's no price tags. I have to keep asking the salesman the price. One day, I went to the store and asked the man how much one of the shirts were. The next day, I went back and another man told me the shirt at a higher price.
