While I waited I noticed a sign that said all haircuts were $35. Since all I need is one third of my head trimmed, it would be less. Was prepared to pay full price though. The woman who did the trim seemed to do it fine. She was personable as well. When I asked how much, it was $30. Most expensive trim I've had, always been $20 or less. That's fine, I paid knowing I wouldn't return. The reason I decided to write a review is first, she left in the two Velcro like things to pull my full length hair out of the way. Second, and the worst part, she cut quite a bit of my full length above the undercut. When I took my hair down, there were hundreds of full length strands falling out. I've never had a barber do this. Yes, a few. No one is perfect. This was much more than a few, more like a few hundred. Very disappointing.

Let me tell you bout this place I found! So I moved from LA 3 yrs ago and have been looking and experimenting all over Palm Springs-To the Desert for a *GREAT* not good barbershop and I found it... Yes! I walked in, and my barber Eugene had me to sit down in one of the available chairs. And I knew I was at the right spot right away. I waited about 10 mins until I was served which is not that bad. I explained (which seems most so-called barbers act like the know what im mean) and he did an EXCELLENT job! he was able to perfectly line me up and he used scissors with exactness that gave me that smoothed, rounded skin fade look I was going for. In a nut shell, if you are a out of towner new to the DESERT, get you but to this spot and get the cut of your life! Cost: $15.00-$20.00 Eugene is a awesome man. This review is way overdue, but the fact that it's been on my mind for weeks should at the least show how great of a person he is in general. He's was so cool and easy to get along with, after he cut my hair and shook my hand whilst we were both still chatting away, i left forgetting to pay the man. Not till about half hr later when almost home i realized and called him and apologized. he said he dint realize either too, till about ten minutes after i left. We both laughed, and i promised i would stop by next day, well with work been so busy it took me a week and half before i suddenly showed up. i figured he be a little upset or annoyed, but he greeted me with a laugh and hugged it out. PLUS I thought originally my cut+razor edge+beard trim and shave was gonna cost me minimum of $20, and then maybe a let fee. But i was surprised when he said just give him $15. Well i felt that cause of me not keeping my word and great job he did. I gave him $30. The atmosphere is great, kid freiendly, HD TV w/Sports everywhere, and best of all- great conversations, noy just with my barber ut with the other too. My son and I get our haircuts here. Friendly staff and great prices. Shop is clean, has televisions and usually some good music playing. This is a barber shop. Not a salon. Sorry boys no mani/pedi's here. Guys come here to get a haircut, talk sports or latest action flick. Keep your book club chats and latest review of "This Is Us" at home. A word of advice though, make an appointment. This place is busy because of the quality of service they give. Lots of repeat customers. Walk-ins May have to wait because appointments take priority. I went to Noel for a pixie cut, I was really nervous to cut my hair off but he made it a very fun and easy experience. I've gone to salons in the past for a pixie cut but they never really did it the way I liked. So I decided to go to a barber shop, and it was the best choice. Noel was very professional and even showed me how to style it after. Over all it was a great experience and I would go again when I get the itch to cut my hair off. Whenever I need the freshest cut around, I go see my boy Eugene! I used to bounce back and fourth between barbers and hair cutting places, until I got hooked up with Eugene. First of all why does the sign say they are open until 8? I walked in at 7 and there's 3 barbers there but no one could cut my sons hair because they were about to close??? Really nothing but clowns up in there and then Anthony had the nerve to say I could make an appointment for a another day?!! No thanks never going back there again!!!! One of the best barber shops in the desert. Eugene hands down one of thee best barbers I've came across in a long time. Told him an idea of what I wanted let him do his thing and got exactly the cut I've been trying to get in a long time. Eugene is very talented not only with the clippers but knows how to use them scissors as well, which is rare in a barber. He is funny, motivational, has active listening if you ever need to just vent, not to mention he does all kinds of stuff from haircuts to braids and dreadlocks!!
