They provided an immediate refund while telling me it probably would not arrive for Christmas. They offered a full refund if it did not arrive before Christmas. I was very clear with Dimitrious (Mr. Katie) when I consigned my items. Glaring problems with Katie's are as follows. Organization: I brought my items for consignment on Sept. 9. It took several days, multiple calls and texts to get an inventory list. The store's hours and days changed without any notice to customers. They had my email but never sent a notice. I notified them on Nov. 2 that I would be there on Nov. 12 to pick up my remaining items. Items were not ready so I was relegated to sort through the racks looking for them. Some items could not be found and Kristin (employee) did not look further nor call me as she said she would . Finally found some of my items and I had to drive back there to retrieve them. They lost one nice blouse. They are "not responsible for lost or stolen items" per the contract. I lost an item, and was never compensated. Space: The space is too small and is bulging with stock. Racks are difficult to sort through and aisles are narrow. Bathroom is horrific. Clothes on the floor, no paper towels to dry hands. Prices and Items: Prices are fair to reasonable and there are some nice items. Communication: Poor. See comments under organization. No notice of new hours, no follow up phone calls as agreed, lack of responses to emails and texts. I would NOT recommend Katie's consignment. I will not be returning and I have lost $$$ due to non returned item, and failure to communicate and service their consignors. My experience iss similar to the mother who consigned the prom dresses and didn't get them all back. That seems to be a pattern . katie, are you listening?

Disappointed in product quality and customer service!…read more I purchased a Volcano candle from Adelyn's Boutique and I'm extremely disappointed. The candle has three wicks, yet it will not stay lit. It tunnels badly (the sides don't melt down), the wax builds up around the edges, and there's black soot collecting on the inside of the jar. The wax pool gets so heavy that it repeatedly drowns the flames, and it becomes very difficult to relight. This is not normal performance for a candle and definitely not what I expected. What made this worse was the customer service. When I reached out for help, I felt like Lucy Evans was dismissive and did not follow through. The impression I got was that because she "only sells" the product, she believes she isn't responsible when it arrives defective or performs poorly. As the seller, I believe the boutique should stand behind what it sells and provide clear, timely resolution when a customer receives a faulty item. I won't be shopping here again, and I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you're considering buying this candle through this boutique, I suggest proceeding with caution.
