two coffee mugs on a table

Perfection, all around. They've nailed the chill, cozy coffee-shop vibe. Loved the lo-fi jazzy music, decor, service, seating areas, coffee, baked goods and location. Stopped by twice while I was visiting the area and tried a cappuccino, latte, cinnamon roll, and blueberry muffin. Their coffee drinks are perfectly frothed and have just the right blend of coffee + milk. The baked goods are worth every calorie! They're from a local catering company and are so fresh and sinful. Oh... how I wish there was a location in my home town. For now, I"ll just have to stop by when I visit :)

Such a cute and cozy cafe! I love that it wasn't too crowded. I got the cookie butter coffee and it was super good! Will come back here next time :)

Wow! This place was amazing. Welcoming, inviting, comfy ambience, great food and coffee! I'm new to the area and I think I've found my new reading/working spot! Their pastries come from Nick of Thyme bakery and are really large in size. I ordered Fall in a Cup and an apple danish. The owner (I believe) heated it up and it was delightful with my coffee. They have outdoor seating and a ton of indoor seating. I also learned that they will be having some love music as well. Can't wait to go back!

Fabulous Cold Brew with Whipped Topping!!

What a great mid afternoon treat. The cold brew was fabulous and the whipped even better! We sat out on the patio after a day of hiking and it was such a relaxing atmosphere. I would drive back to Roanoke to just visit my new favorite coffee place!

Wonderful little hidden gem! Loved the atmosphere, quaint and comfortable! Resurrection coffee smoothie was fantastic! Everything bagel sandwich was so fresh and tasty. My daughter got the frozen lemonade and French toast and loved them both! Great place, so glad we tried it!

I love this place, down to the atmosphere shaped by the lights and vintage seats to the friendly staff that greets you before they take your order. Not to mention there lattes are to die for! They are so good every time and their flavors change with the season so it never gets old. But it doesn't stop there! The food here is a perfect pick me up when I'm doing homework all morning. My favorite is their chicken salad :)

This place is so amazing! I love their vast menu and their fresh items. It's super quiet and had such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend.

Great coffeehouse glad we found this place and all it's sweets. Especially excited about the gluten free selections! Many places don't offer much to choose from in our area, this is an extra bonus for our families.

Being from out of…read moretown (Virginia Beach) for the holidays I had a lot of family who wanted to meet up and spend some time together and I really didn't feel like going out to a restaurant where I was going to be rushed out after finishing - I wanted to be able to get a drink or snack and sit for an hour or two and not have someone trying to rush me out the door. I immediately thought of this place as it's a mid-point for my dad and where I was staying while in town. We met up over here and I this time ordered a sandwich. I got the roasted chicken croissant which had cheese, spinach, tomato, and some really good artisan mustard or something. The sandwich came with a pickle spear and veggie sticks which are like funions (sp?) but made from much healthier veggies. They were good to me but my dad loved them. This little meal was $6.96 I believe. I also ordered another white chocolate raspberry mocha - yum - but I already talked about that in my previous review. This drink was $3.75 or $3.95 but it's A LOT of drink because they serve it in a large cappuccino mug. MMmmmmm. My dad ordered a breakfast sandwich, a bacon, egg and cheese. The same guy who helped my mom and I the day before was there and asked my dad when he brought my mocha what bread he wanted - they had a ton. There was a plain bagel, a sun-dried tomato bagel, toast, english muffin I think, etc. etc. He listed like 6 things my dad could get it on. He chose the sun-dried tomato bagel at the barista's suggestion and he loved it. His breakfast sandwich was about $3.50 or so. My dad also ordered hot loose leaf black tea which came out steeping in a little pot which had about 2 and a half cups in it. This was $2.00 or so. I mention the prices because this is a reasonably priced place with really good service and food at a decent price. It's what I always look for in a local coffee shop. My dad and I enjoyed our sandwiches and sat and talked and I checked my email on my laptop with the free wifi and showed him some pictures for about two hours total. We were never rushed and we had a very pleasant time here just as my mom and I had the day before. There were ebbs and flows as far as how many people were inside and in line over the two hours we were there but we had a chance to chat with the friendly barista who recognized me from the day before for a while and I asked about this business. Apparently the owners bought into a franchise portion of the coffee shop which I want to say has another 3-4 stores in Georgia but they are very adamant about fresh coffee, fresh food, good service, and a good mission. I believe one of their main issues is charity for African children... I saw some photos around as well as a few religious quotes but very few and not enough to seem preachy. I asked about the business and the barista (I wish I knew his name) mentioned that it had picked up as the Daleville Towncenter was growing and would probably be more busy after the apartments and townhomes are finished in the next few years and more homes and shops move in. He said during the spring and summer the outside firepit area will have some live music sometimes and they will perhaps stay open a little later (they now close at 9pm). Again, I had a great experience here, the service was phenominal and the food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. I think my dad enjoyed himself too. Plus the views of the beautiful mountains are all around through the large windows in the seating area... and it's gorgeous to see perched on the hill as this shop is across Rt. 220 from CVS and Food Lion. This will be a favorite haunt of mine when I'm in town from Virginia Beach.

In a short time, it has become the Coffee Shop in Vinton to go in the morning to enjoy a good gourmet coffee or tea, together with a breakfast sandwich, a bagel with cream cheese made in the house, or a sweet pastry. When I arrived to have breakfast, the place was almost full with people of all ages. In one corner two businessmen elegantly dressed in business suits with laptops were seated in one table with what seemed like talking business, a couple had just arrived and sat in another table drinking their coffee and socializing, two other men dressed more informal also with a laptop at another table discussing something, two young ladies seated at a counter with comfortable high chairs socializing, a husband and wife seated next to the Christmas tree enjoying some quality time together, and the manager of the place seated at a small table doing some work his computer. This not counting all those who came in to pickup takeout orders to go. One could tell that the community was taking full advantage of this beautiful and clean place with contemporary decor, large windows, and high ceilings. It also had a Community Bulletin Board on one wall near the wall for customers to post information on events happening as well as business cards of their businesses or services provided. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by a young lady employee behind the counter who was very knowledgeable about the menu of the Coffee Shop and explained to me the breakfast sandwiches that they had and took my order for one of them in a plain bagel and a large Mocha Latte Coffee. As soon as the order was ready she brought the items to the table where I was seated with a friendly smile, providing exceptional customer service. The coffee tasted absolutely Devine and was nice and hot; and the breakfast sandwich had a fresh plain bagel that was toasted to perfection, crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside, filled with fresh ingredients that together tasted amazingly delicious. Without a question, I would highly recommend this Coffee Shop to all reading my review and looking at my photographs accompanying it. This is definitely a relaxing place to go to socialize and spend quality time with family and friends, to do some work or have a meeting with work associates, or even for entrepreneurs to brainstorm ideas to start a business in the future or to make their current business grow. This definitely is a vibrant place where things are happening and the Town of Vinton and its community is clearly benefiting from it.

And The BiblioPub is the perfect example. Located on Campbell Ave, in Downtown Roanoke's West End District, almost next to the Locker Room Lofts, The BiblioPub calls itself a Bookstore, Coffee Shop, and Beer & Wine Lounge. With a Cafe Menu divided into Sandwiches, Coffee and Tea, and Beer & Wine, it also stocks current pastries and sweets from locally owned bakeries. As soon as I found out of its existence, and reviewed its website, I immediately headed over there to discover what this place was all about. What I found completely amazed me. A large open space with furniture arranged in such a way as to create warm and cozy spaces where people can go to read, eat, drink, view and purchase used and new books, and socialize with one another in a cozy and comfortable environment where they can get together with old friends or meet and make new ones. A welcoming and friendly staff consisting of two ladies were situated behind the bar counter, where they greet and meet with their customers, take their orders, and bring the orders to the tables where they are seated. If the order is for an alcoholic beverage, I saw them checking the person's ID before processing it. They also were chatting with the customers seated at the bar drinking some beers. There are bookcases full of used and new books, reasonably priced, so one could get a sense of the book there and decide if to purchase it and take it home with them. Since I already had dined, I ordered a lemon muffin and a large Iced Café Latte. After paying with a credit card, I went to sit down with my muffin and one of the staff brought me the coffee when it was ready. I believe this is a wonderful concept for a place where one can go, enjoy reading a good book, have a snack or light meal, cool down with an Iced Coffee, beer, or a glass of wine, while socializing with friends in a safe and cozy environment.
