I'm very disappointed with my experience with this company. Although my yard looks better than…read morebefore, several parts of the agreed‑upon job were not completed, and communication throughout the process was very ridiculous. After paying the deposit, I had to reach out multiple times just to get the work scheduled, which ended up taking nearly two weeks. I was told a five‑person crew would arrive on Monday, so I took the day off work--but no one showed up, and I received no call or texts messages explaining why. My attempts to contact both the crew and the company went unanswered until later that evening after I called them and they finally answered. I was told I would receive an updated time on Tuesday, but that never happened. By Wednesday, after more unanswered calls and texts, I sent them an email explaining my frustration. Only then did someone call and assure me the crew would be there Friday, along with a small piece of turf as a bonus. The turf ended up being only 3' x 5'. On Friday, only two workers arrived. The job felt rushed, and several key parts of what I was told--verbally and through text--would be included were not done. The 3-4 inch excavation I specifically chose this company for never happened. Sprinkler capping was listed in the quote, yet I was told near the end that it was "easy" and left to do it myself for a small deduction off the final cost. I've already spent over eight hours locating and capping sprinklers, all of them buried- some of them up to 4inches- under the dirt that was moved, and I still have more to finish. I also now have to dig out additional dirt because the excavation wasn't completed, and I'm putting in a patio and sod. I reached out again regarding the incomplete work and haven't received a response. Several parts of the project were left unfinished, and the lack of communication made the entire experience extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone I know. I should have gone with the other company.

Kudos to Ivester Tree, LLC. I had a small job - removing a juniper that was planted 21 years ago. I…read morewas afraid my project was too small for a company like Ivester to even worry about. But I was wrong, in fact, because it was small they were able to fit me in at the end of another project when they had a few minutes left at the end of a day. I had tried removing the juniper with my small 40v chainsaw and realized quickly that it was going to take me hours and then it would be a real pain to get rid of the cut shrub. I had 2 tall aspen suckers that came up in the middle of the juniper. I was going to try to save the aspens; however, once the juniper was expertly cut away from around those aspens, the trees didn't have the trunk strength to hold the trees upright. So the aspens had to go too. I was amazed watching the young man carefully remove the juniper branches from around the aspens without hurting the aspens. The other thing that complicated the removal - when Xfinity burried my cable, they took it through the middle of the juniper so Ivester's crew had to be careful to not cut my cable while they were chainsawing the rest of the juniper. They were great! The young man using the chainsaw is quite skilled. About a year ago, I watched them take out a large tree next to my neighbor's house. It was amazing how they were able to take down such a tall tree without damaging the house or the fence. I highly recommend Ivester Tree, LLC. The staff is very personable. For me, good customer service is as important as quality work and with Ivester Tree I got both. Thanks Ivester Tree, LLC. You guys are the best!
