The way our relationship started was to have them give me a bid to wire my generator. I had already pulled the 2/0 wire the 90 feet through conduit, so they had to install some intelligence wires (6 x 12 AWG), connect everything up, and they came back for the start up. The price for the work was much less than I expected, I did not ask for a military discount, but when Dave saw our military tribute wall with my kids and others, he extended me a discount (very much appreciated but not deserved). They did an excellent job, Nick and Dalton were fun to spend time with. We had a few things in common, and while I tried not to be too much of a distraction, I think I got as many questions as I asked. Not only for their pricing structure, but for the owners, the guys doing the install and throwing the switch putting the tickles through the wire. Oh yeah, they also fixed a wall outlet run that was bad and did not charge me. My job was a small home, but I was made to feel as important as the next guy or the business owner.
