I had the worst experience possible with Hasty Hauling & Moving Co. I scheduled an out of state…read moremove with them for today and paid the deposit and made arrangements over a month in advance. Everything seemed normal and fine until it came to the day of the move. The owner Will Sterling who I was in contact with the whole time had requested to pack me up the night prior so they could leave early morning. Comes to the night of he calls me informing me that the rain was restricting them from finishing a previous move. We can to an agreement for him to arrive at 5am in alignment with my travel plans having to drive 12 hours. It comes to 6:30am no text or call from him so I give him a call and turns out he was asleep still. He then informs me he is coming with his team. 4 hours go by and nothing. No text or call and no communication. I try calling him and texting him multiple times but he doesn't respond. He then says he's 15min away and then another hour goes by. He finally says he's here and I go outside to meet him and let him know I'll be canceling the move due to the inconvenience and inconsideration. I asked for a refund for the deposit which he then says will take 7 days for him to complete. I was on the phone with my sister at the time when she informed me of this companies many 1star yelp reviews accusing them of stealing, damaging, and tardiness multiple times not to mention lying about refunding. I then confronted him, standing in the pouring rain for 20 min demanding the refund be made now which he was in fact able to do and wouldn't take 7 days to happen. Overall I warn everyone considering to use this company not to. No apology of remorse was given to this situation from the OWNER of the company and as I walked away from the conversation heard laughter amongst his employees and him.

The worst thing was that during the move one of his employees stole my personal safe. If that wasn't bad enough, he hasn't even offered to turn the incident in on the insurance he says he has or offered to do anything to make it right. Do not trust this company with your belongings!!!! I had to give one star is the only reason I gave any.

This company has been working for the area I stay since I arrived at Tuscaloosa. I lost my wallet…read moreyesterday night. I did not realize it until I got up this morning. It gives me a big headache as all my credit cards and IDs are in the wallet. Their staffs found it and then their office contacted my employer around the noon. Words can't describe how much I appreciate it when I got my wallet. It saves me tons of trouble, like replacing IDs and credit cards, or even identity lost. Thanks so much for their wonderful staffs!
