To get back into the building from the pool area, using the keypad, there is no light by it, or maybe it was out? If I didn't have my phone for light, I wouldn't have been able to get back in the building from the side door! I would've had to walk over to the lounge area to use the keyfob, but if you don't bring your fob to the pool what is one to do? 2. The coffee maker in the Lounge area was stuck on cleaning mode! We had just moved in, we had no way of making coffee yet, it was nice to see the coffee maker, but no cups and no coffee, if you're kind enough to offer this feature, it needs to be kept up with at all times. 3. The Elliott Garage Door: Within 3 days we moved in it was broken twice!!!!! **And as I write this just now, got another notice that it was down again! When you come home, you do NOT wanna drive around to the other gate all the time to get in! If it's being so troublesome, then maybe the company who installed it, needs to figure out a way to make it not break down so much and maybe make a multifold or somehow slide gate, or one that opens inward towards the garage area, instead of up, I know space is limited, it should've been designed better, than a raising gate, that's a lot of pressure on the mechanism!!!! And now to my 4th and biggest complaint: PARKING!!!!! There is NOT enough guest parking!!!!!! WOW ~ I can't believe for a complex like this, there isn't more guest parking!!!! Bottomline- do NOT rent here, your money can easily go further in Nashville in a more quiet, renovated, unit or house in a better neighborhood. Speaking as someone who works in healthcare, I thought perhaps this would be a quieter, convenient part of midtown. I have moved out of the property in 2025 and my one year experience was nothing short of a nightmare 1.) Noise- sadly with the growth of Nashville, these apartment complexes that have been built are paper thin. Note the building is right off of a busy intersection/near the hospital. You will hear every car whizzing by. You will wear ear plugs, perhaps play background nature sounds off your Alexa at bedtime- you will still hear the noise. You won't have a chill Saturday/Sunday/evening to relax without the sounds right off the road (cars, construction, hospital noise) 2.) Rent fluctuation- the rent will cost one thing one month and suddenly the next month cost something totally different. Zero transparency. 3.) Not the greatest/safest neighborhood. Sketchy/may have homeless vagrants sleeping across the street. Be aware you are approaching North Nashville for what it is worth. 4.) If you have an electric car- good luck supposedly having "free charging" with very limited access to charge your car 5.) Any way that management can "get you" with excess charges that are unheard of in your supposed "utilities bill" 6.) Good luck getting your deposit back. You will not. You can pay someone to clean the place upon clean out only to find that management will ambiguously assess charges on the back end. These are not only my views but also reflect a lot of the tenants with whom I have become friends with when discussing experiences living at Olympus. Consider renting at the newer Margeux complex next door or anywhere else. It's just not worth it.

Our first issue with the building started when we first moved, when we discovered a significant roach infestation in our original apartment, which ultimately required us to relocate to another unit within the property. This experience was traumatic and unacceptable for a "luxury" apartment. However, even with the roaches, the worst problem capital view has is the management. Over Labor Day weekend I saw a man hiding in a stall in the women's locker room, which led me to telling management about the incident. Given the nature of the incident, we expected management to conduct a thorough investigation, address any security vulnerabilities, and clearly communicate what steps were being taken to protect residents. Instead, the first response I received from management, who is still employed there, was that "they would not have been liable if anything were to happen to me." Regardless of the fact that this statement is blatantly incorrect, that type of response is extremely inappropriate in a situation like this. Management chose to take zero steps to mitigate a potentially dangerous situation, such as installing cameras in the hallway outside of the locker room or installing a lock on the door. They also misrepresented the steps they claimed they were taking to address the issue. We discovered this by asking security whether those measures were actually being implemented, and security told us that they had never even been informed of the incident. If that were not enough, management then told residents that I was lying about the situation when those residents brought their own concerns to management regarding the same issues. They also claimed that they did not see a man on the cameras, while, in the same breath, telling me that there were no cameras in that hallway capable of showing who was entering or exiting the women's locker room. These statements are directly contradictory and further demonstrate the lack of transparency and seriousness with which management handled the situation. Between our experience with the pest infestation, having to relocate apartments, and the subsequent handling of a serious security concern, we ultimately lost confidence in the property and its management. If you're considering renting here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Residents should be able to feel safe and confident that serious concerns will be taken seriously. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience at Capitol View.

For over 2 decades I've rented apartments in Nashville, San Francisco, Sedona, Chicago, Murfreesboro, Brentwood and on the big island of Hawaii. * The Cleo staff is fantastic (by far number one of all the places I've rented in 20 years of nomadic living) along with the atmosphere and the character of my neighbors in the building. There are endless opportunities to engage as a single person activity wise the property offers during holidays especially which is really nice and unifying. Don't let a great property be mislead by the tiny minority of a huge population resentful enough to stigmatize with a 1 star review purposefully spouting resentments out of anger that aren't fact checked. I don't have any motive or loyalty to owners or employees, meaning this is an honest review of a resident who has never thought in the past to take the time to thank a place. When residents take the time to review accurately currently residing there with many friends who loved it as well it means it's a great place to live. There will always be people with one star reviews that skew the average esp in large communities. It's also so clean and fresh so you don't have the nightmare of moving in to then encounter pests like some older places where flooding or lack of upkeep causes spiders or worse. I haven't even seen so much as an ant here. The location as a Nashville Native is unbeatable and unlike a lot of Nashville properties, the Cleo is a safe place to live with building security unmatched elsewhere. I came to the property due to 3 friends who rented here for years and love it. I work nights so that's usually when I'm walking my dogs and I feel really comfortable out and about. The security guy I talk to is also really nice. The office also keeps us up to date on anything we'd need to know. It's quiet during the day and night so a welcome place for those with any schedule of sleep. It's nice to be able to walk my pups at night with such a beautiful neighborhood bordering the property. Also there are cameras helping keep everyone safe. The garage has so many spaces to park and plenty of guest parking. It also has a gate system that prevents people from getting in on foot or driving in as well as locked key doors after passing through the gate that's the most secure I've seen in any Nashville apartment. One time a car followed someone in and the office let us know when my last place in Belle Meade had real crime and instead of informing they'd downplay it so it was unpleasant bc they didn't care. Cleo property is one of very few nashville properties where a parking garage doesn't have people who don't live there "hanging out" due to management that isn't paying attention. DO NOT LIVE HERE - Terrible Management and Nightmare Experience…read more Living at The Cleo East Nashville (now under Willow Bridge Properties) for two years was easily one of the most stressful, infuriating, and disappointing experiences of my life. Don't be fooled by their attempt to "rebrand" with new management - the issues run far deeper than a name change can fix. Here's an honest account of my time leasing here. 1. Rude Management and Awful Communication Katie Johnson, the Assistant Property Manager, was consistently rude and unprofessional in her interactions with me. Every time I brought up concerns, she made me feel like I was the problem, rather than addressing the issues caused by their disorganized staff. Bridget McClarin, the Business Manager, was equally dismissive and condescending, taking zero accountability for her team's mistakes. When I tried to renew my lease in Fall 2022, I toured a new unit and was told by a staff member to wait until Monday to finalize everything. By Monday, I was told the unit had been taken because "multiple people applied at the same time," and the system bumped me to a different (less desirable) unit automatically. This happened because of THEIR guidance to wait, and neither Katie nor Bridget took any responsibility. Instead, they spoke to me as if it was my fault. 2. Wrongful Charges and Unethical Practices Throughout my lease, they repeatedly slapped me with unjustified charges. Move-Out Nightmare: During my move-out walkthrough for my old unit, the maintenance manager assured me everything was fine - no charges. I took photos and videos to document the spotless condition of the unit. Days later, Katie and Bridget conducted another walkthrough without me and charged me for issues that didn't exist. When I raised this, they claimed the maintenance manager didn't "document" his walkthrough, so they refused to honor his word OR mine. Unjust Fines: On another occasion, I left an item outside my door for less than 12 hours for a buyer to pick up. Without any warning, I was fined $100. It wasn't until I argued with the office that the charge was reversed - after hours of stress and wasted time. AutoPay Disaster: They added that same $100 charge to my rental portal without notifying me, which caused my AutoPay to be rejected two months later. Instead of resolving the issue, they locked my account, added late fees, and demanded I bring a cashier's check in person - all while I was traveling internationally. They refused to accommodate my situation, even though it was THEIR error. When I returned, it took endless emails, phone calls, and arguments to get the $100 removed, but I was forced to pay legal fees they sent me to collections for, which they refused to reimburse. 3. Move-Out Scams When moving out of my second unit, I thoroughly cleaned and documented the apartment, ensuring there were no damages. Despite this, they still charged me for cleaning and maintenance fees to "prepare the unit for the next tenant." It felt like they were determined to take $200-$300 from me no matter what. Why bother cleaning when they'll charge you regardless? 4. Constant Stress and Money-Hungry Practices Living here felt like a constant battle against management's incompetence and greed. They care about one thing: extracting as much money from tenants as possible. It didn't matter if I had proof or valid complaints - they always found a way to make everything my fault. Final Recommendation: AVOID AT ALL COSTS If you value your sanity, do not lease here. Willow Bridge Properties may have taken over, but unless they've replaced the staff, policies, and management practices, nothing will change. One might expect somewhat it different considering the amount of residents. When we say prompt maintenance, wow. How about the winter storm and the barrage of trees that came down. We are in a "forest" setting with many, many trees towering to the sky on all our surrounding hills. Yes, we were blocked in, but not long. Of all the complexes I am aware of here locally, this Lakes of Bellevue started immediatly with crews that made this place near normal in a matter of days. It was actually amazing. Our streets became negotiable within a couple of days, The entire setting was near perfect in a very short time. Not only did that happen quickly, the crews were hired to continue on trimming trees and removing piles to keep us safe for weeks to come. I was amazed. It looked like there had not been a ice storm here at all when just out side the complex trees were still down and roads blocked. And as I mentioned, this is no small residential area. I am not sure the total building, but now roofs are being replace on all our buildings and it is so very effecient. Communication is very prompt and any maintenance issue is addressed the day we contact the office. They dont just repair, they replace. Pools, three here, are maitained perfectly as is the gym. I do not remember all names but each and every one were cordial and professional. Among them the name I remember is Joseph who has been emailing me along the way. The property itself is very private, secure and feels like you are living in a far off remote location while so close to Nashville. The ponds are well maintained, a simple yet effective car wash, car vacuuming, dog wash, laundry center are highlights while the Gym and the Swimming pool are just well equipped and inspire to go the extra mile or lap. Add to all this the EV Car charging station by Charge Point is very convenient. All this with shopping for groceries, home needs, restaurants around a mile.
