One might expect somewhat it different considering the amount of residents. When we say prompt maintenance, wow. How about the winter storm and the barrage of trees that came down. We are in a "forest" setting with many, many trees towering to the sky on all our surrounding hills. Yes, we were blocked in, but not long. Of all the complexes I am aware of here locally, this Lakes of Bellevue started immediatly with crews that made this place near normal in a matter of days. It was actually amazing. Our streets became negotiable within a couple of days, The entire setting was near perfect in a very short time. Not only did that happen quickly, the crews were hired to continue on trimming trees and removing piles to keep us safe for weeks to come. I was amazed. It looked like there had not been a ice storm here at all when just out side the complex trees were still down and roads blocked. And as I mentioned, this is no small residential area. I am not sure the total building, but now roofs are being replace on all our buildings and it is so very effecient. Communication is very prompt and any maintenance issue is addressed the day we contact the office. They dont just repair, they replace. Pools, three here, are maitained perfectly as is the gym. Right from the moment you engage them with a phone call to learn about the property, touring the apartments to finally completing the lease and moving it, they have been absolutely fast in responding, answering questions, ensuring I knew the next steps. I do not remember all names but each and every one were cordial and professional. Among them the name I remember is Joseph who has been emailing me along the way. The property itself is very private, secure and feels like you are living in a far off remote location while so close to Nashville. The ponds are well maintained, a simple yet effective car wash, car vacuuming, dog wash, laundry center are highlights while the Gym and the Swimming pool are just well equipped and inspire to go the extra mile or lap. Add to all this the EV Car charging station by Charge Point is very convenient. All this with shopping for groceries, home needs, restaurants around a mile.

Location is fantastic for commuting and for natural surroundings (it's beautiful). Moreover, the community is fantastic. There's incredible diversity, lots of dog-walking, staff and neighbors are friendly (although there is high staff turnover, so no guarantees). The facilities (pool, tennis courts, gym) are generally great too--when they're open. I do have some complaints. First, the buildings are old and the maintenance isn't always great. For example, they never fixed some stuck windows/missing screens when we first moved in. For community facilities, we've been waiting on getting the tennis lights fixed since moving here and it's never happened. Took months to get the nets back up (though they're fixed now). The landscapers are also pretty bad: they are constantly making an otherwise beautiful location look spare and poorly kept up (at least when it comes to the landscaping around private residences). My biggest complaint is the lack of recycling: half my apartment ends up being filled up with trash till I have time to go to a recycling center. It's incredibly frustrating that our complex doesn't offer this service. Moreover, the community grounds get a lot of litter. Overall, it seems to be improving. The staff are trying to run more community events and it does make this a nicer place to live. Assuming this continues, I recommend this complex.

If I didn't have my phone for light, I wouldn't have been able to get back in the building from the side door! The Elliott Garage Door: Within 3 days we moved in it was broken twice!!!!! **And as I write this just now, got another notice that it was down again! Speaking as someone who works in healthcare, I thought perhaps this would be a quieter, convenient part of midtown. I have moved out of the property in 2025 and my one year experience was nothing short of a nightmare 1.) Noise- sadly with the growth of Nashville, these apartment complexes that have been built are paper thin. Note the building is right off of a busy intersection/near the hospital. You will hear every car whizzing by. You will wear ear plugs, perhaps play background nature sounds off your Alexa at bedtime- you will still hear the noise. You won't have a chill Saturday/Sunday/evening to relax without the sounds right off the road (cars, construction, hospital noise) 2.) Rent fluctuation- the rent will cost one thing one month and suddenly the next month cost something totally different. Zero transparency. 3.) Not the greatest/safest neighborhood. Sketchy/may have homeless vagrants sleeping across the street. Be aware you are approaching North Nashville for what it is worth. 4.) If you have an electric car- good luck supposedly having "free charging" with very limited access to charge your car 5.) Any way that management can "get you" with excess charges that are unheard of in your supposed "utilities bill" 6.) Good luck getting your deposit back. You will not. You can pay someone to clean the place upon clean out only to find that management will ambiguously assess charges on the back end. These are not only my views but also reflect a lot of the tenants with whom I have become friends with when discussing experiences living at Olympus. Consider renting at the newer Margeux complex next door or anywhere else. It's just not worth it.

Primarily came on to give a shout out to one of their maintenance workers, David- my door system went offline and he went above and beyond when it come to getting the situation rectified as soon as possible. He's assisted with other maintenance repairs I've had and been very knowledgeable and been able to take care of the issue without having it linger into another day or past the weekend. Glad to know he is on staff and trustworthy.

Floor was stained and dirty and dusty. There was obvious dirt and hair that was just painted over with. The master bedroom door was broken and too small to fit in the frame. There was noticeable damage on the roof in the living room, roof of the dining room, one bedroom roof, and the bathroom doorway. The breaker for the bathrooms goes off even when not being used. Our first week in there the kitchen sink backed up and overflowed with used and greasy water, that took 6 hours for Maintenace to show up and then another 6 hours for a real crew to come fix the issue. The apartment ruined our washer and dryer with a smell that could only be described as a wet dog playing in urine and feces. Had to completely buy a new washer and dryer once we moved out. On top of all these issues and damage the water heater is barely big enough for you to take a 5-minute hot shower. The front desk staff Clara would only care and help anyone from Middle Eastern Descent even when they are running around and stomping upstairs all hours of the night and screaming and jumping off furniture. When presented with proof all she would say is I cant hear anything. My family and I were certainly targeted because of our race and myself being a Veteran, by residents and staff alike. After suffering these horrible living conditions, we moved out without having to pay anything and then a week later revise it to try to get 1000 dollars out of us. I slept in a field for weeks at a time in the US Army and that was a better environment than these horrid apartments. I would rather live in a dumpster on fire than ever set foot in the parking lot again. If you are white and/or a military veteran stay far away. You will be harassed and discriminated against.
