The cream cheese was piled in the center of the burger, so I had to redistribute it across the bun and even then, just bland. The really weird part of our experience was the kids meal... One kid ordered a cheeseburger. The other (age 3) ordered Mac & cheese. The waitress said to him, "do you want chicken nuggets with your Mac & cheese? Or a burger?" And we were kind of confused so we hesitated... our kid said, "macaroni and cheese please!" And we said, "yeah he just wants the macaroni..." so she said "okay, a bunch of macaroni for you!" When a different woman brought out the order, his plate had just 2 bowls of macaroni and cheese on it... I asked her if it came with fries or anything. "Oh, no, did you want fries?" "Well I guess we were just confused... the macaroni and cheese is an entree right? Not a side?" She said she'd go get some fries. A minute later our waitress was back: "she just talked to me. Do you want me to add a side order of fries to your meal?" "Um... no. Never mind. We'll just share ours with him." Not sure where the miscommunication happened? Mac and cheese is definitely an entree... Apparently our waitress thought it was a side?? No clue. Weird.

I didn't like my tenderloin sandwich as much. Batter was delicious but the tenderloin was a little dry and tasteless. Bun was toasted but had cooled by the time the sandwich was delivered. My sweet potato fries were also not very crispy. The taste of the sweet potato fries were good though. Overall service was good. Server checked on us every 15 minutes or so. Will be back for the wings.

The food was good, the cocktails were well made, and we left looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, our second visit didn't live up to that first impression. The food was still decent, but the cocktails were disappointing and lacked the quality we experienced before. The dining room was also quite noisy, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation. One issue that was consistent on both visits was the service. While the staff was friendly, our wait service wasn't very attentive either time, and we often found ourselves waiting longer than expected for drinks and other needs, including getting our bill. I chased down the waitstaff on each visit just to pay. Based on our two experiences, Liquid Assets has shown it can be very good, but the inconsistency makes it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. We probably won't be in a hurry to return, though we hope they can provide a more consistent experience in the future.

And he has a terrific selection of tequila that you can take home with you. He has Tequilas that I've not been able to find in any other liquor store in the Omaha or Kansas City area.
