Going in, I was hopeful for a good experience -- and Dr. Williams and her entire team exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, communicative, and genuinely caring. Even the associate who came in to review the cost of the procedure was delightful -- friendly, funny, and remarkably easy to work with. It immediately put me at ease. Bethany, the tech who stayed with me throughout the process, was outstanding. She explained everything clearly, reassured me at each step, and kept me distracted in a way that truly felt like having my own daughter there looking out for me. The extraction itself was far better than I anticipated. I'm sensitive to epinephrine in numbing agents, but Dr. Williams administered everything carefully so I never experienced the usual racing-heart feeling. The procedure was quick, not painful, and handled with exceptional skill. Dr. Williams talked me through each part of the process, and she and Bethany kept a warm, pleasant conversation going that made the whole experience surprisingly comfortable. They also provided clear after-care instructions -- both verbally and in writing -- and made sure I knew I could call with any questions. On November 15, 2022, I saw Dr. Danielle Williams for a consultation on my severe Torii situation…read more  She was kind and understanding.  They explained the procedure thoroughly and also the cost of the procedure.  On December 27, 2022 I had the procedure.  Dr. William and her staff are the most friendly, courteous, professionals with great senses of humor.  The experience was actually fantastic.  I did opt (and highly recommend) for the extended numbing agent that works for 2-3 days.  The headache following the procedure went away with sleep.   I did not need ANY of the pain medications at all!  Not even Tylenol.    The sutures were dissolvable, so there was not even the pain or stress of having sutures removed. Everything went perfectly and I was able to eat almost right away (soft things first, of course).  In 3 days I was back to normal. They even straightened my crooked smile!   I highly recommend Dr. Danielle Williams and her staff at Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Carrollwood.     Sorry it took me so long to review, but I have other health issues.

My experience threw me for a loop because in the past I've had bad experiences with other dentists. I walked into the office and was greeted by last name and informed that I would be helped in a few. The receptionist Kristina (I think I spelled it right) was so nice and walked me through everything. Once in back I immediately had X-rays done and was treated nicely by all the staff from start to finish. I recently had an infection in my top right wisdom tooth which I was already on antibiotics for and was on the last day when I went to my visit. I'm always honest when it comes to my health and any issues or concerns I may have. After going over everything I was informed that I have gum disease that's causing me infection and irritation in my teeth and it's causing the bone that structurally holds my teeth it slowly deteriorating which no other dentist has ever told me. Yes it did put me on edge but I'm glad that I now finally have some answers. Anything that I didn't understand was explained to me in a way that I could better understand which was extremely appreciative. My experience from start to finish was definitely different than anything I've experienced in the past and they were more informative even when it came to what I need done, prices with my insurance and if I could get any type of discount. I was also informed that a lot of the services that they offer are done right in the office which is definitely a bonus for me because everyone else that I've gone to I've had to travel for different reasons. Had the very best experience getting my wisdom tooth removed this morning. I had absolutely no…read morepain or discomfort during procedure. Dr. Brian Hamilton numbed me up pretty good and the nitrous oxide helped keep my nerves at bay. Dr. Hamilton is excellent at what he does! The staff took care of everything and left me with little to no questions. Nicole was in the room with me during the procedure and she is excellent at patient care! Nicole sent me home with a goody bag with post operative care instructions, extra gauze, an ice/heat pack and syringe to fill with salt water to keep area clean. It's been over three hours since procedure and the area is still numb which I appreciate. I'm grateful they were able to squeeze me in for a consult and get me scheduled soon after for the procedure. The consultation went smoothly, I brought a list with questions and concerns and he touched on everyone of them before I had a chance to ask.
