I was looking to do a mini session with my little family of 3 before we become family of 4…read more At this time they were running holiday package of $59 for a mini holiday session, unfortunately the availability they have does not work for me and the husband. So i decided to purchase the maternity package of $99 just so that we can get a quick family photo. Had the date and time booked. On the date of the shoot location was very easy to find parking was not an issue. Upon going to the second floor read the sign they have a studio location to the left and the right, if i remembered it correctly the maternity shoot was at the right side from the elevator and photo viewing and all other shoot is to the left from the elevator; which we went to the wrong side as we were in a hurry. Upon getting to the right maternity studio, we were greeted by our photographer she was nice, she showed me the rack of clothes for the maternity which was nice to know that it was included and offered for the maternity package i bought. So i explained to her that changing into the maternity gowns wont be necessary. Because im already dressed as is; and told her the reason i booked this package just for some quick GREAT family photo before i give birth. So we started taking photos as a family, me and my daughter then me and the husband and she did a few of my solo and belly photos. The reason im giving this a 3 star because of the outcome of the photos. I know for the price i paid $99 what do i expect right? But the fact that i follow them on IG and have seen so much awesome photos coming from a cheaper package of $29 $59 mini session with such great outcome and the fact that i paid more and was very disappointed with our viewing day... Also i forgot our photographers name, she nice and all but her skills on positioning and photography was not so great. Why? We were not centered on the photos, you can see background such a bad photography skills im sorry im no professional but i could have posed us way better, she hardly even posed us, i literally have to posed us the way we hold hands the way our hair is how we tilt our heads etc... I was very disappointed, so we came back for the viewing we were sat in a room with a tv monitor and the photos were played in slide show, after the slide show was done this very nice lady i think shes filipino, she went through the whole photos and explained to us the package and made us narrow down the photos we want etc... And i do apologize to that lady if i came rude upon doing the yes & no session of picking of photos, first photo right away it was a NO and i expressed my disappointment with the photos. I almost said no to all the photos to the point she offered for us to re take the shoot, and because my due date is around the corner i kindly said no to that offer... And expressed to her my concerns and feedback from our shoot. We would have bought a better package of $400+++ but with that outcome we bought the package of 10pcs i think it was $200? Something like that minus the $99 from what i paid already if im not mistaken. So after we left shortly we received the photos in our email, the lady was very so nice and helpful because we said NO to almost the whole shoot instead of the 10 photos she threw in an extra pose for us to have. But to be honest out of the 100s or maybe more of photos to pick from i literally had 2 photos i like, its just sad. I think our photographer should have put it more effort on staging and posing us right in the camera. And she should have take better angles and practice on not showing the edges of the back drop it looked really ugly. As the photographer she should have known how to make your subject look good in the frame, how to pose them fix the smallest thing from the hair, how you hold your hand how to position the arm hands legs how to make the subject or subject great.

First off the studio was beautiful, brand new and had many different sets and backdrops. The space is a work/loft area with awesome natural light. I have been a fan of outdoor photo shoots in the past, but with a 2 1/2 year old boy & 7 month baby girl it can be difficult to get them to focus and have fun. The Grimm Photography studio has made me a huge fan of indoor photo shoots, I don't have to worry about the elements (in Vegas the wind has gotten fierce on many days!), outside distractions and random people wandering around in the background. Let me just say it was not just the photographer that was actively involved in our shoot, but the owner and studio manager as well. Getting a 7 month old baby to look at the camera much less smile is a feat in itself, the owner was amazingly good at making her laugh and smile consistently! My son also enjoyed himself and willingly played and laughed at the antics of the owner and studio manager. I enjoyed the entire experience, but most importantly so did my husband! The staff spent about 2 hours on our photo shoot and were very patient, attentive the entire time and extremely polite. I would say they all enjoy their jobs and it is very evident. To say I was excited to receive the pictures is an understatement, and they did NOT disappoint! "Some retouching" was applied but looked natural, I honestly could not tell the difference, just that the colors and photos seemed to pop. I absolutely loved our photos, the kids looked natural and my husband and I looked relaxed. I finally have pictures of our family that I am proud to show my friends and pass out to my family. We were gifted with a 16x20 photo canvas and the quality of the image was spectacular. I have purchased many canvases from online companies and the one I received from Grimm is by far the best in clarity and color. They print and make the photos and frames on site which I believe contributes to better quality control. I will definitely return to Grimm for future photo shoots, the entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience but most important had fun doing it!

Her years of experience, professionalism , beautiful workspace, and fun-loving personality all came together to create a comfortable and safe and exciting environment where you feel your best. As a promotional model in the past, working trade shows, you need to keep an updated portfolio to book gigs. I would shoot with photographers, get a CD lol with 100+ images and hope that 2 or more would work for my portfolio. Most of the time, I could find a few that I really liked and I can still appreciate them today. Then there are those that never did a thing for me, and I discarded. Fast forward about 20 years later.... Now in my professional career, I've needed to get updated corporate photos for quite some time but was ok with silly selfies like the one on my google profile lol. Ok, so it was time to get serious... I then asked my broker for a referral and was given a name and number. Instead of me calling this guy, I googled the agent who he had photographed to see her image on her website, and I have to say that I wasn't impressed. She was very washed out and cloudy almost like a ghost. I then scrolled through all her staff photos assuming it was the same photographer and started to get that Kmarty vibe. Well, that wasn't going to work for me, so I started to search out photographers on google and came across tons of Kmarty JcPennyish photography studio vibes out there. Lots of bad lighting and cheesy poses. OMG! Maybe, I'm just used to better quality than what I was finding in today's market. Then, I came across Light Images. Scrolled through her corporate images and I was sold! I was also praying that I could afford to work with her because her photography was incredible. Perfect lighting, no cheesy poses. Sign me up! lol I immediately called her, and she was pleasant on the phone, completely professional and I was able to coordinate a shoot that was convenient for me. Everything was as she had said on the phone from my arrival to setup in her studio. She had everything ready to go and the whole process was quick. She had such great energy and I really enjoyed working with her. Then, the moment of truth... After the shoot, sitting with Susan as she pulled up the photos. I was over the moon! Wow! What a relief to see my images in perfect lighting, perfect everything. It was so difficult for me to weed out anything. lol She is AMAZING!!!! In the end, I ended up buying more than I had planned but it was so worth it... Today is Sunday and I didn't expect to hear from Susan, but she texted me to say my images were ready and she needed my email. Shortly after, I checked my email and I have to say that I was moved to tears... I had a good cry but they were tears of joy, gratitude, and appreciation... I was overwhelmed by the quality of her work. To see myself so beautifully in a way I haven't been able to really see in the mirror, but Susan was able to capture the essence of my beauty through her camera lens. Susan is a gifted artisan and if I didn't share all my thoughts and experience, I would feel greedy! I honestly believe that if you don't trust Susan to take your photos, you're only cheating yourself. Seriously! She is the best and I can't stop raving about her and my experience.
