For me, I'm dealing with the fun I've had over the years. Now aging, things are catching up. I've…read moresuffered with allergies, and general health issues, along with aches and pains. I didn't want to just take medications to alleviate the problems, so looked towards other means and methods, and acupuncture was one. I've been blessed to meet Gwen through a recommendation, who clearly has been practicing acupuncture for many many years. Her approach is caring, her practice is comforting, her treatment is amazing, and her genuine personality makes the entire process over the top pleasing and healthy. I look forward to her treatments, it's an hour of complete and total care and relaxation with results. She's a gem!!

Her deep and broad knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and wholistic healing is quite amazing. I am so impressed and inspired with her diagnostic abilities and her treatment!! I went to her for tendonitis and pteurygiums and she helped me with both. I asked her a million questions, she patirntly listened, and everything that she said I fully resonated with. Gwen also gave me a Qi Gong exercise that works like a charm. Not to mention some excellent advice on nutrition and dietary habits. She is a real kind lovely human being and my daughter also absolutely loved Gwen: "she's REALLY cool!" , "shes a great acupuncturist!". She went for two treatments in her two week visit. I am so grateful that Gwen now resides here in Brookings! I will be going back every other week! I highly recommend !!!

Not given to superlatives, I am nonetheless compelled to provide a good report, one of an…read moreexceptional experience in yet another Acupuncture session with Miss Amelia Whitney. May I recommend to all in need of tension release, muscle stiffness, or relaxation, Amelia's command of Acupuncture. Her specialized techniques of Chinese Acupuncture render the formerly "bound-up" patient into pliable jellyfish. Her knowledge of the art is surpassed only by her grace and charm, and a countenance reserved for the elite among us. If you've not tried acupuncture, I highly recommend where other procedures have failed. You may well find relief contending with surprise afterward.

Amelia Whitney is truly a healing person. Her knowledge and skill iwth accupuncture is amazing as…read moreis her ability to be in sync with what he is doing to your body. In the beginning I met her because of intense shoulder pain, from a shoulder that had been broken and not healed right, inability to walk without a can, headaches, problems with digestion etc. Doctors had prescribed all kinds of medicines that has of course let to kidney and liver issues. I have been with Amelia for quite some time and she has the hands of ancient healing women as well as the skill with accupuncture that has me walking like I did years ago and with a lot less issues. She even did some accupuncture to help my spirits and for settling my often to dast paced mind and again as soon as the last needle is in I am like a fat cat laying in the sun. Recently I suffered a severe case of COVID. It lasted a long time and of course I could not go in. When I did my body and mind felt a mess and my respiratory system was way off. Amelia went to work and I am sleeping better and soon with her kind and healing hands I will be back to where I was before. I would not only recomment Amelia I wouild and could honestly say that if you don't use her skills you will never know the relef of what accunpuncture can do for so many things going wrong in our bodies in these times. Traditional medicines only help big pharma and the medical field. Its a fact. Chinese Accupuncture has been around for thousands of years andwell it speaks for itself. It is painless and does not harm the body like typical and traditional medicines do. Reseachthe side effects of what the prescriptions you take cause. Pain free accupuncture heals what ails you without causing other ailments. Yes I know a rather long and boring review BUT I am inclined to truthfully speak out for accupuncture because of what traditional medicines have caused in my body with no improvement and then hail the priases of of accupuncture and how it is healing my body.
