They were professional, friendly, well organized and easy to reach. They kept in constant contact with me giving me hourly updates on my property. And always returned my calls or texts promptly. I hired one guard for my baby shower at a public park. Since we were serving alcohol this was a requirement from the city, although our small party was not really in need of a guard. Communication with Matthew was regular and professional ahead of the event and the guard, David, was very friendly, professional, and so extremely helpful at the end of the event while we were cleaning up. I will never use another security company again. Had a situation at our home where a trespasser left items on our deck in the back of our house. This just so happened to be on the day my husband was leaving to go out of town. I have two little kids and did not feel safe. We contacted Matt and four hours later he had an armed officer outside of my home to monitor our property overnight. The officer was a former sheriff/deputy agent who was extremely polite, professional, respectful and empathetic. The officer communicated when he arrived and what his plan was for periodic checks and he communicated when he left if there were any issues or not. They put me completely at ease! I had a need for a security guard for only about 2 hours for a corporate function, and other security companies would not do such a small job. Lucky for me I found One Shield. The day of our function, the security guard assigned to us called me to let me know she had run into an accident on the freeway and would be 2 minutes late. She did a great job for us. That same morning we had a strange situation come up and I needed to have an armed guard at our office for the day - so no notice at all - Matt came out and did the job himself. He was fantastic.
