Thank you, Daniel, for helping me out! I needed a vehicle to tow our pleasurecraft boat to overwinter in Salem where some repairs are being made. My own pickup was in need of a new clutch, so Enterprise came to the rescue with a truck that included a tow hitch. I was a bit confused, initially, because the trucks don't have ball joints. That wasn't communicated with me over the phone, but I ended up going to U-Haul to purchase the correct size ball joint to tow the boat. So it all worked out!

Upon arriving, I was a little worried but that quickly faded. During check-in, there were the standard questions but nothing like what I had been through with a competitor of theirs. When I went out to do the damage assessment on the nearly brand new truck, the owner found a decent amount of damage compared to most normal people (I use to be a damage assessor). He also went over the inside components like the lights, radio, etc. Awesome experience. The truck was a 16-foot 2019 GMC with 21k miles and climbed hills like a dream. My wife drove my F250 while I followed in the box truck and except for needing to slow down in corners (expected), I was able to keep up without issues. On my first trip, I used a COMPETITORS 26 foot truck and they gave me an 18 year old worn out diesel that couldn't climb hills if it's life depended on it (35mph, really?). They had also interrogated me on my insurance when I opted not to use theirs, making me fill out additional paperwork with my insurance information and such. While I'm not in Oregon anymore, I wish this location luck. Their customer service and truck quality is so much better than their competitors.

We were able to move our entire 3 bedroom house, shed, and attic with one trip in the 22ft truck costing us less then $60. If you can't make it during open hours you can still rent and access the trucks via the mobile U-Haul app. They also have convenient key drop boxes secured outside. I hope I don't have to move again for another decade but if I do I would use them again.

On several occasions we brought the truck in and had it serviced. Multiple times over the course of the rental period, we mentioned the leak to them. They were aware of the initial damages and suggested that we cover the crack with tape. Of course we followed their recommendations. Fast Forward almost 2 years later and we are done with the truck. We turned it in and this Penske location is now sending us a bill and blaming us for the damages. Very poor customer service skills and overall, a disorganized group running the show. I would rely upon enterprise or another company. You will thank me later!

They were respectful of her house and mine, and careful to not damage any walls or floors. They protected her beautiful furnishings very well during transportation and in and out of houses, and into the correct location. They cared about placing furniture in just the right spot. They were patient with letting us install extension cords behind heavy furniture before they shifted it into place. Before they left, we asked them to move a queen bed and heavy dresser six inches to the left, so that everything fit the way we wanted, and they didn't bat an eye. They were gracious and kind and friendly. They communicated effectively with each other. This trio got some much done on a day. They were truly remarkable. I will ask for them again.

There's a lot of square footage to maintain. They do an exceptional job, for the most part. Jennifer in the office is well known for going above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I thank Jennifer, Tracy and Acme Storage for some memories I will never forget and a true demonstration of compassion. Every facility has its challenges and it's sometimes difficult to control the actions of others.
