I had my oil changed twice at Mr Mechanic and the third oil change I took my vehicle to the colonade Car Care on I-10 and Wurzbach and was told that who ever changed my oil last had stripped my oil pan so they had to retread the oil pan and replace the bolt. I was charged 149.00. I took my receipt to Mr Mechanic to show them the damage they did to my vehicle. I was told by the owner Michael that they didn't do any damage to my vehicle and refused to take responsibility for damage they did to my vehicle. I also filed a complaint with BBB which they never responded.

He knows all about the inherent factory defects and poor/weak designs that come on new cars and he knows how to correct all that. If you just need a part for the transmission, he will just replace the part. If you need a full rebuild, he will not mince words, but he WILL take the time to absolutely explain every little detail of why it failed and how he is going to fix it. I personally like that way of doing business. A ( NO BS) way of doing business.

They called me again & said there was another problem needed fixing and would cost me $3000 more. I don't have that so I declined. They then did not want to fix the original issue & told me to pick my car up. When I went to pick it up they charged me $150 when originally stated $65.
