The situation at the bar took an unexpected turn when another bartender, who seemed to be in a pleasant mood at first, began using profanity in a soft tone when asked why he wasn't present. His exact words "Get the fuck out of here" to his own co-worker - ten times in front of all the guests who are waiting in line at the Bar and in front of the guests who are getting their appetizers. This unexpected exchange, while bizarre, didn't overshadow the overall experience but left us a bit bewildered. Moving on to the main course, it was exactly as expected in a Mughal restaurant - rich and creamy, fulfilling the culinary desires of guests. The dessert spread was a highlight of the evening. The Moong Dal Halwa was a standout, leaving a lasting impression with its superb taste. The quality of the Kulfi was exceptional, rounding out the meal on a sweet note. The ambiance was elevated by a dance floor with flashing colorful lights, adding a lively touch to the event. I will not point to any certain individuals but will say the whole experience was regrettable. We selected this event and paid premium because we wanted to have a pleasant experience and a stress-free event, but it was opposite of that. RE READ everything and get all clarification in writing because the "ok, no problem, don't worry and we will take care of it" will be of no use when things go wrong during the event.

We were threatened, ourselves and the…read morevenue owners were called derogatory slurs, the food was NEVER served, and the food was from TAKEOUT. We saw the receipts (pictures included). To start the night, the chef was late and was rude from the beginning. I asked the owner who I should report this to as it is not customary for the dispatched chef to be in contact with the client. We had no say in the selection of the Chef, and we were given someone who not only who was not briefed on the event, but called the owner constantly to express that they were not prepared. The Chef did not align with the menu, and it all went down hill from there. In short, amongst the list of everything we were called, included, "Fat F***", "Mister Miss," "Crackers," and so much more. We were told to go back to our country, and that we should use the food that we asked for them to take back (several times) to feed our cousins in said country. On top of the fact that we were pushed by the chef, they ran their cooler over my sister's feet, a hand fashioned into a GUN was pointed at me, cocked and pulled, the chef told my sister that "there will be bullets," and amongst asking the Chef to leave from 7p for an event ending at 10p, the Chef STAYED to cause more chaos, and even stayed outside waiting in their car until after guests left, I guess to make good on the threats. Ultimately, in feeling unsafe and gas lit the entire night, we called the police. The owner, DARSH, kept telling us that that he did not believe it happened, in those exact words, and even when on speaker, and despite the fact that everything was recorded on the venue camera, continued to gaslight us and would not send his staff home. DARSH, sent a new chef, even though we had been asking them to leave since, and still no one ate, the food was cold, and not what we ordered and the chef he sent agreed that the food was not edible. Not work $1,300 AT ALL. He couldn't even stomach the calamari that was left out. DARSH had been pursuing my business from October, for this event at the end of December, and we were put through a complete scam. We saw the receipts of the Asian restaurants DARSH ordered from, and he tried acting like it was normal for a PRIVATE Chef to order and use takeout, and what we ordered, which included, the below, we only saw the calamari, the shrimp, and spring rolls. NOTHING ELSE. And those tasted like they were from the freezer section, and makes sense as to why no one touched it. I asked MULTIPLE times for them to take the Chef and GO HOME, and the Chef continued to stuck around and cause problems, and not leave. We have worked with many private chefs for 1-1 dinner, corporate events, and private parties. This was THE WORST experience of my life, and I pray that NO ONE ever experiences this. PLEASE. We have not been issued a full refund, and the volumes of wickedness of this business is truly beyond the comprehension of someone who genuinely values their clients and their business. I feel awful for the guests of our holiday party and the venue owners who had to endure this, and starve all night. At least, if the Chef left, we could have enjoyed our brief four hour gathering, and ordered pizza! For reference, this is what we ordered, and did not receive. NO Satay, and he tried convincing us that it was there. There were not any takeout containers, chop sticks, forks, plates, or anything, that he admits he did not bring.
