My husband and I had a great experience here! We went to try on the dresses and suits before the photoshoot. There were a lot of beautiful and good quality options to choose from. The staff was very attentive and took their time with me to find the perfect dress. They walked us through the pre-wedding photoshoot details ahead of time and showed us photos examples so we can pick the locations to our liking. The day of the photoshoot, the staffs took their time doing my makeup and hair. I am normally nervous about getting my makeup done and having it coming out looking very unnatural. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how natural and pretty the makeup and hair looked. I barely felt the fake lashes! I've always had a hard time with these. I didn't need to prepare any of the accessories. They prepared everything for me. Very detailed and professional. We had a lot of fun taking photos and got a lot of compliments from strangers about how great we looked! Everyone from WGC went above and beyond for my entire wedding, from start to finish. Every little detail was considered. Winny is amazing. The photographer and videographer (Sean and Jeff) were so patient and incredible. They suggested an amazing decorations company (run by Nancy). The entire team made my wedding dreams come true. I saw other reviews mentioning they expected a lot of tips. I have friends and family members who used other wedding studios and it's the same over there too, they have even more people you have to tip so I don't know what the complaints are about. I had a very large wedding (close to 500 guests) and I wanted EVERYTHING perfectly done and I still saved money compared to the costs at other wedding studios. All in all, this place made my experience so smooth from planning to the actual wedding day. I used this place for my wedding because I saw a few friends that used them also. They were satisfied. They have a whole package which includes, photographer, videographer, limo, makeup, hair, engagement photos, photo albums, and clothing rental. I even had a girl stay with me the whole day to help me change and touch up my makeup. The staff mostly spoke FJ and Mandarin but you can get by with Cantonese. Our photographer Leo was really good. He actually doesn't have fobby taste and was able to help us capture really good photos. The service is okay. They are very busy so you'd have to call a few times. On weekdays it's packed. Weekends are a bit better. The only thing that bothered me was they wanted a lotta tips. We tipped our limo driver $50 for 4 hrs. which 2.5 hrs he was just parked around doing nothing. They told us it wasn't enough. He wanted $100. You just kinda have to tip everyone a lot. Overall, you still save money from getting this wedding package from the studio =) read more

This place is a massive full service wedding services studio in the heart of Chinatown. I only wanted studio and outdoor wedding pictures with gown and makeup services included - didn't need the other video/limo services. This is the place to go! I do admit there were a lot of communication barriers - most of the staff speak FJ and Mandarin, I managed to get by with Cantonese and English (pending you may have to wait for the appropriate staff member to be there). Oh and don't bother calling the place to set up an appointment or inquire, just show up - you get more attention and you get to see the wedding package lists. I went there for a consultation and agreed upon a price and date for both and indoor and outdoor shoot in September. Got a fairly decent price for a very basic package. I do warn it is a FULL day - 8 hours+ for each. Most of the time is spent on makeup and Winnie does an awesome job - transformation is incredible. I would call her the head honcho when she's on duty as well. She keeps the place in order and her staff busy. There are plenty of dresses and styles to choose from but be weary you may be limited by size (you may like the dress but it won't fit you!). There are plenty of backdrops and props upstairs as well. Our photographer was Richard and he managed to coax out the appropriate smiles and poses for us - even though we were exhausted at some point. After the shoots were done, the hard part was selecting the pictures that we wanted and the albums/frame. If you want a nicer frame/albums it will cost you depending on what you package you selected. Turnaround time was 1 month for the pictures to show up on a CD/gallery (and select which ones you like/dislike) and another month to produce the actual product. I was told I would get phone calls or emails when things were ready for review or pick up but that never happened in any case. I just showed up at the studio each time to sort things out (mind you I can't speak that dialect on the phone anyway). But I was kind of annoyed that even though I emailed/texted them, I got no response. And always have your pink receipt paper ready. They have a lot of clients! It's actually really quiet on weekends if you want to do a shoot there. I've seen weekdays packed with multiple brides in the make up chairs. I finally picked up the finished product today and I'm pretty satisfied with my product and the services. The only hard part now was dragging the albums and the big picture frame back home and hanging it up! read more

I am so glad that I chose Wedding Garden for my photo, hair, and makeup needs for my wedding and engagement photos. The team did a fantastic job. My bridesmaids and I looked incredible and absolutely flawless. The products that they use are top of the line and are friendly for sensitive skin. The photographer was progressional, meticulous, and really fun. He made me and all my guests feel comfortable, and needless to say the photos were gorgeous. Compared to American photo studios, the package they provided us was a steal and their work was just as good, if not better, than the American photography studios. My hair and makeup looked amazing and not tacky at all, and they provided touch ups throughout the shoot. The photographers Sean and Jeff are not only pros at what they do, but they work their magic on bringing out the personalities of each individual couple during the shoots. Their service is terrible. They give you their full attention before you sign the contract but after you do so, they start to care less. When it came to picking the wedding dresses, there are very few selections. You don't actually get to pick it yourself but rather the assistant chooses a few popular ones for you and that is all you get to try. There are more dresses in the studio, however, most of them are outdated styles. I remember asking for a simple off shoulder dress and they didn't even have that. Our package came with free suits and dresses for the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and parents but when we went to the studio to try them on, there were only about 3 sets of bridesmaids dresses with terrible styles and a few suits that looked very used and didn't even fit everyone. After we paid a generous amount of tip for trying the clothes on, they ended up buying their own outfits. The makeup wasn't done professionally. It looked okay in some pictures but in person it looked so flawed and imperfect. A lot of pictures were taken but some were not even edited and I had to tell them to edit it. Other pictures were overly edited and they actually ruined our huge poster because of that. Also, tipping is actually mandatory for basically every time you meet with them. We gave them a little less one time because we felt that's what they deserved but afterwards they actually demanded more. After we gave them all the payments, we were still missing our photos and videos. They promised us it would be done a month after the wedding but it actually took over half a year for everything to be done. After that, we were still missing a video clip that we never got to this day. At this point I have given up on it. I know this is an extremely long review but I just wanted everyone to reconsider using this place. It is a once in a lifetime experience and I hope it wouldn't be a terrible one like mine. read more

On behalf of my best friend Amanda -- don't go to this place. Worst customer service ever. I used this place and they didn't deliver as promised. Staffs had poor attitudes. They expected lots of tips for every person, even to try on dresses on the photo shoot day and dresses for the wedding day. $30 to 50 for each visit for the dressing lady. Ridiculous tips when u already paid thousands of dollars. When u don't tip them enough they talk about u with others. They should put 20% tips onto their prices in the beginning. It's a once in a life time event. Who knows you gotta tip their janitors too...Worst part was they told her to come two weeks before her wedding day to pick her dresses and when She arrived they had no white gowns that she liked. They were mostly old and dirty. read more
