Just had a WONDERFUL afternoon at One Swanky Shop Marble Falls where Debbie Cherry provided a very iinformative discussion in Table Top Decorating in the store's New Design Lab. It was so informative and FUN! We learned the Highs and Lows and Cross decorating techniques that are so unique to her design. Go BIg, then Bigger!! We were challenged in teams to deocrate a table of our own there in the store using store "Stuff" - Such fun, we competed finding little ducks for prizes and of course there were snacks and drinks!! I learned alot, met some new friends, and I think I may be going home with a new BIG coffee table. Their staff was friendly, helpful and there is so much new stuff in the store , ya just gotta see it! I hope One Swanky continues these learning opportunities because decorating our homes is something we all enjoy. Thanks Debbie and your entire team for a great afternoon! read more

***This review is only for the name of the shop*** I was at Dollar Tree which is across the street from One Swanky Shop. My curious mind wants to know... what the h*** is "Swanky"? At first, based on its name, I thought it was one of those romantic shops if you know what I mean, but it isn't. Obviously, I didn't know the meaning of "swanky". Per Google, swanky means "stylishly luxurious and expensive... and One Swanky Shop is a mixture of design consultation and home décor boutique." Oh, it's an elegant furniture shop... it must be pretty inside! I didn't drive over to check it out, but I did take a picture of its outside... and its outside does look swanky LOL. Anyway, if you happen to be in the area, swing on by, peruse the place, take pictures, and post them on Yelp! I want to see what's inside. Happy Swanking! LOL read more

This store used to be cute years ago, albeit a bit snobby. The snobbiness has escalated through the years to rudeness. Quite honestly there's nothing there one can't get at Pam's Pearl's (adorable and very sweet owner) or any other little store. I rarely go in anymore but oh why not. Ugh, the store is so cluttered and on top of that the political signs are thrust in your face so much that another couple was trying to leave when I entered and we had to navigate around everything. I'm sure OSS thinks that posting its political beliefs will attract customers. Unfortunately, I found it extremely distasteful and I was repelled. I just turned around and walked out. I'm sure the owners feel they have the right but when I literally can't get in the store due to all of the paraphernalia, it just reminds me that if one refers to themselves as swanky, one most most likely isn't. read more

OH My Gawd, this place is truly my favorite place to stop, shop ... look, imagine and fear my eyes. Their fits are unique and reasonably priced, their interior design concepts compelling and beautiful, and the ambiance of the store just makes you want to spend time there. We were in town visiting from Houston and I was excited to check out this cute shop. When we pulled up and saw the 6 inch cushions on the outdoor furniture I knew this was my kind of shop. The store is packed with unique finds. So where does the low review come into play? Customer service. There was myself and one other lady shopping in the store and I was not one time even acknowledged. I was in there over 10 minutes and the store was dead. There were 2 ladies sitting behind the counter and a gentleman standing with them. I'm not sure if he was an employee or customer. I had an empty SUV and cash to spend.....which I did down the road. I'm hoping the owners address the customer service issue because the merchandise is spot on. read more

The staff was friendly; I paid for curtain hardware (pricey I might add). It was 7 to 8 weeks; Meanwhile I called and asked for return call from original sales staff. I stopped by One Swanky Shop a while back after deciding that I needed an arrangement for the dining table, a pair of lamps for my Master bedroom, and asked if they have an upholsterer. I was needing to have my headboard re-covered. I was shown some fabrics and asked them to come to my house and suggest what was needed on that headboard. The next day, Debbie Farr and Monya came and refreshed the living room with new pillows and a throw for the sofa, placed an orchid arrangement, and rearranged other items. We looked at fabric samples for the headboard, dining chairs and paint choices, took pictures and made an appointment for the next day. They came along with a large truckload with two strong men. They asked us to let them work on the bedroom. The transformation was amazing! We were so delighted with all the pieces and asked them to take away the old bed ( no need to recover the headboard). Those gals worked magic - what a wonderful shop to have in Marble Falls!!! read more

I've been there several times. Always have great things for your home. They made some gorgeous draperies for me. Install was a breeze. Very happy with my purchases. Very friendly. I also purchased some bath accessories from them. I called before I went by to make sure they still had them and told them I was on the way. They put them aside for me until I got there. I have been nothing but absolutely delighted with my experience at One Swanky Shop. They have redecorated my home and my daughters' on several occasions through the last few years as well as recently. They are the best!!!!!!! Moved here from dallas recently and drove past this store. Was needing drapes for new house. My advice is to look somewhere else. Extremely expensive and once you pay them the money you won't hear from them again unless you do the calling. I was told 6-8 weeks for installation which took 6 months. They blamed it on Covid ( no workers) thought we were past Covid excuses in 2023. I never heard from her EVER unless I called to enquirer.I was told I'd have them by thanksgiving and still didn't get them. They finally got hung 6 months later and were a mess! I was told the wrinkles would eventually drop out. They didn't. They came to steam them when I was out of town and I got back and thought they didn't even show up. Still a mess, so I called and was told they did come steam but her words were "I just can't make you happy ".... I was SHOCKED. All I wanted was drapes with in the 6-8 weeks and not a wrinkled mess. You pay several thousands of dollars and get a horrible experience and the drapes look bad!!! Buyer beware! read more

My wife and I decided to stop by. It was 3:30 in the afternoon and their posted closing time was 4. A customer walked in as we got out of our vehicle. As we approached the entrance, a woman met us at the door and said that they were closed, then shut the door and locked it right in our faces. I have never been treated like this by any business in my life and will never go any closer to this business than the edge of the highway. read more

My wife and I had been walking the property of a house we eventually bought, and were wearing jeans and had been sweating. In short, we didn't appear to have money. The woman behind the front desk was eating, and continued to eat. She offered no welcome. We were own our own. Then a woman walked out of an office, and my wife walked over to ask for assistance. The woman said "Hi" and literally walked away. My wife is a sweet, caring woman, but I saw a surprised and angry look on her face as she walked out of the store. I told the women that they had lost a job, and left the store. We may be wealthier than 98% or 99% of the people who live at Horseshoe Bay, and I know many are multimillionaires. We are, too. Regardless of standing, everyone deserves common courtesy. We will never step foot into that store again, and have told two others what we experienced. Now I'm telling you. read more

This shop is a Hill Country star. The Swanky team is very knowledgeable whether you are decorating a home or looking for a gift. Debbie Cherry and Debbie Farr have designed homes in Texas and other states from the ground up for many years always on top of the latest design trends or just updating your home with a few new items and using what you already have. The store is always a must see on any shopping trip. From small gifts to beautiful furniture and accessories. I can always find something I can't live without. The friendly staff is always very helpful, but they don't hover over you and they let you shop in peace. Great style and people. Swanky selected colors and completely furnished our last two homes. Sold the first house with all furniture to the 1st person who looked at the house and made over 40%. Downsized to a 2200 sqft pre owned and again had Swanky select the paint and furniture. Just sold it after three years to the 1st person who saw it and again made 40%. Getting ready to build our retirement home. Wouldn't think of doing it any other way. read more

I walked in this place. I was in for more than 20 minutes and not once was I asked if I needed help. The sales woman ignored me. I do exist, this store is lacking in any respect for customers. A business full of little nic nacs should strive to give excellent service. Guess they rely on Highway 281, and turquoise bicycles. read more

I love this store. A small town gem. They have everything for my home from pillows to glassware. If you ask they will wrap anything up ready to give as a gift. Friendly sales team and owners. The fabric selection is the largest in the area. Everyone should stop in and see for yourself. read more

And to top it off, their store is like walking into the pages of House Beautiful. Debbie Cherry has helped me several times with changes and updating. Her eye for detail and creativity are phenomenal. I love watching her at work. She is able to take a client's wish list and ideas and turn them into their dream home (or room)! She also has the ability to suggest fabulous ideas when a client (me) has no idea where to start! They are also very good at working within the budget given. I went to this shop for the first time. The largerBlode lady, was rude, condesending and was obviously sick with no regarding coughing all over me. The other lady attenpted to help but definitely let me know they were not interested in my business. Basically dismissed me. I would blame their attitudes on menapause, but they both were way past that stage of their lives. Who do they think they are?? They didnt know me but obviously made a judgement call, I wasnt up to being a customer, although I noticed they had no other customers than me. Very big mistake! Nothing has changed since 2015 . The worst customer service I have ever received ! Ordered in Feb 2017 ,refund with an attitude in July 2017. Don't let first impression fool you,like I did.I have ask for a paid receipt and never received one. I find that strange. I would not recommend this shop to anyone .
