There was so much cute and delicious looking goodies. We ended up buying some cherry chocolate chip cookies, Jamaican banana bread, rhubarb jam, honey cream and some cherry drinks. Between the cuteness of the stand the incredibly friendliness of the owners and the yumminess of all we bought I HIGHLY recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area, even if you're just passing by.

Very large market to check out, beautiful fruit and vegetables to temp you. Deli, bakery, jellies, they had it all. What got our attention was the homemade goodies displayed and I cannot pass up cookies and pie's! Even though it was 4:00PM, they still had ample choices to choose from. We purchased a package with 8 Ginger Snap cookies and also purchased a Cherry Pie. The pie was 20.00 and it was pretty heavy, hmm, loaded with lots of cherries you think ??? Cookies were 5.70. Ladies were very sweet and appreciative of our purchase. We both had a cookie for the drive home, husband loves these cookies and they were fresh, moist and darn tasty. Had a slice of pie after dinner and I must give credit, when credit is due, it was delicious, worth the 20.00. At the country market's, that's pretty much the going rate, give or take 1.00. I bought a fabulous lettuce larger than my head! There were red and white potatoes, zucchini, cucumber, cucumber, some early tomatoes... Flowers, bedding plants. Folks were selling pies, soap, jam, honey, plus there were booths with crafts. You can buy maple syrup from Arcadia (sap from trees there, and made In town), including in decorative bottles for gifts. And each week just brings more, as the produce and fruit come in during the season. Not crowded, and very pleasant shopping. Open seasonally May 28 - Oct 8 for 2016.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Buchan's Blueberry Hill…read more Before picking peaches, a young employee told me that we were allowed to pick them. Based on what she told us, we went ahead and picked some. Later, an older woman confronted me and spoke to me very disrespectfully. When I explained that the young employee had told me we could pick peaches, she essentially accused me of lying and claimed that the employee had said they could pick peaches, not us. This was clearly an employee communication issue, yet instead of calmly clearing up the misunderstanding, I was treated as though I had done something dishonest. What upset me even more was an older male employee intentionally spraying water toward/on my young son. Regardless of whatever misunderstanding happened about the peaches, involving a child like that was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Overall, we felt unwelcome and disrespected here. As a minority family, the way we were spoken to and treated made the experience especially uncomfortable and left us wondering whether we would have been treated the same way if we were not minorities. We came expecting a fun family outing and left feeling insulted and unwelcome. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Buchan's Blueberry Hill.
