I have an extension. It's your company…read more Yes it does. I have the direct line to your offices. Not the answering service. To responder part II: I am not reviewing your call overflow, I am reviewing your staff you hired to run your business. Staff will not help unless all personally identifying information is obtained. Do not contact! To responder: tell that to your reception staff. They refused to connect me to a loan officer without providing all info. Complete scam. Do not do business here. They only collect personal information. I called to get a quote and they would not let me talk to a loan officer unless i have them name, phone number, email, home address, current lender, last four of social. No problem. Tons of other business I can work with. Avoid at all costs. They just want your information to sell.To

Again Richard B. keeps defending his company's poor service with excuses. I was called within two…read moredays of his company's sad customer service by another broker, who immediately responded positively to my refinance application. The broker I used had no idea what Richard B.'s company was talking about. My refinance went smoothly with no "hic-cups" or delays. As a 100% disabled Marine combat veteran (with multiple Purple Hearts), again, avoid this company at all costs. Are you sure you want to continue this dialog Richard B? Again Richard B. refers to my "Hostility"...is this a joke...my problem was with your truthfulness and paperwork that did not reflect the facts. I tried to correct the paperwork and your agent said they could not correct the documents...I do not place my signature on incorrect documents! After my stint in the Corps, I spent the majority of my working life building commercial Real Estate for my partnerships. I've dealt with numerous RE lenders and brokers, there are many good ones and a few poor ones, sadly you and your company fall in the poor category. Again, Richard B. wishes to continue...: This is the response I received from Brightpath Funding after I requested corrections to the documentation that was incorrect: Due to the resent lending changes because of Covid19, we cannot accommodate your request at this time. Your home loan application has been canceled, we have shredded and the documentation provided. We do wish you the best, stay safe. Best Regards, Rick Berg SVP Processing

We have been loyal customers since the late 1980s. What started out as a local, friendly…read moreestablishment has become less and less customer-focused over the years. We were trying to purchase a storage trailer in Michigan, and they made the transfer of funds to make the purchase seemingly as painful as possible for us. We got tired of the atrociously low interest rates in all their accounts and CDs and lack of customer service, so we started shopping around and found much better rates online. We're talking the difference between far less than 1% and over 4% for a comparable savings account with online access and debit card. In these days of high inflation and high interest rates, 0.1%, or 0.01%, or 0.001% just ain't gonna hack it. Did they accept that maybe they're not doing the best when it comes to their customers' needs and make the transfer of our funds out of their holdings easy? In a word, "NO". Our attempts at transferring funds have been met with total frustration. Now, we're definitely not wealthy, but have painstakingly built up a moderate sum of money with them over the years. We had the option of free electronic transfers or paying around $45 for a wire transfer. We opted for the standard free ACH method. So we set up the linking with the other bank and waited for the verification to be completed. Then started trying to make the transfers. They set limits of $3500 per day and $10,000 per month. We were trying to transfer $70k. That means it would take 7 months! Being too stubborn to pay $45 for a wire transfer, just out of the principle of it, I wrote to them and asked if they could raise the limits. After daily haranguing, they finally did, but after transferring the first $10k, the limits reverted back to the standards. So we had to continually keep writing them, or talking with them over the phone (not much difference), getting the limits raised, and making the transfers. It took over 2 weeks of this hair pulling to get OUR money out of AAFCU. Just for reference, the bank we're transferring into had a limit of $10k per day going into or out of the bank just for the initial couple of days. Now the limit is $250k per day! In or out! If only the management of AAFCU would just look at other credit unions and banks and see what a true customer-centric business is really all about. Additionally, their web software has left a lot to be desired ever since they first started using it. They're just painfully slow keeping up with technology. Their newest web app has no search function(!) I wanted to look up the fees for their accounts so we didn't run into minimum balance money grubbing. Could I find them? I searched and searched through their very limited menus and couldn't find them anywhere. I finally had to log out and go onto their website as a guest and then, by relentlessly searching the menus, I finally found the schedule of fees. That is ridiculous! Oh, and the fees? They will nickel and dime you to death. So yes, we're in the process, sadly, of pulling all of our savings out of AAFCU, or AACU, or whatever they're calling it now.
