They have not asked about where to wire the funds, and I got the needed information from my investment firm, and they don't charge to receive funds by wire. However, Columbia charges two fees: a $35 wire fee and a $30 wire verification fee. I wanted to close remotely, but that incurred a $200+ fee for mobile rotary so we will have to drive up to sign the papers; they don't seem to be able to do that without sending someone to your location. Other title companies can do that, I am told. I did not select this company; the buyer did. I will update this message after the closing happens. It should be 7-8 days once I get final confirmation of the date and time. Some discussion would be great since we will need to take some time off to drive up and close on the house.

Being a college student, I decided earlier this year that it was time to finally get a credit card. I wanted to build credit before I graduate. I have always banked/used a debit card through a large bank, but without much (if any) credit history, I wanted to find a reputable card I'd be approved for. Purdue Federal has a good reputation on campus, so after talking to some friends, I decided I'd give them a try. This location provided me with excellent customer service. Located conveniently in the Union, I stopped by after class, and talked with a representative. I try to do research online before signing up for any sort of service, but I'll be the first to admit I really didn't know much about the process of applying for a credit card. They walked me through every step of the way, and they were incredibly patient with me and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was approved for the card, and finished setting up my account the next day. The employee that helped me setup my account was just as helpful and kind as the first. He made sure I had all the information I needed. My card arrived without issue about a week later. I appreciate how easy Purdue Federal makes things. Setting up Apple Pay was a breeze on the card, and their website is functional. It doesn't have many bells and whistles, but since I try not to make a ton of purchases with my card, that doesn't bother me. They offer an app as well, which I appreciate. It was easy for me to setup my external checking account with my bank to link in with PEFCU's site in order for me to pay off my balance. Overall, I can't complain about the service I've received with Purdue Federal. I like my card, and they offer easy services. They also make it easy for students to start and maintain accounts, which I highly appreciate.
