When we opened an account at this credit union, we were hoping to receive old fashion good…read morecustomers service. Sadly, the service, accuracy and answers to any questions differ depending on who you talk to, what kind of mood they are in, day of the week, weather conditions and at least a dozen others things..Their motto is " The customer is ALWAYS wrong!!!"

Prior to opening my account, I was warned that the Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union on Brownsville…read moreRd. was an awful place to do my banking. In all fairness, all of the tellers I have dealt with have been pleasant. All except one, and the includes the alleged CEO. The older woman teller with the glasses and the short hair (whom I am assuming is the manager) is the most terse, unhelpful, and poorest communicator I have ever come across in my 35 years of transacting. She is quite unpleasant and exudes a harsh and uninviting aura that is certain to repel patrons from this establishment. The last straw was today when she told me that they were unable to deposit a 3rd party check that was endorsed to me. The establishment itself is grim and dingy. Based on the decor, it looks as if it has not done any renovations since the 1970's. Their online banking software is abysmally archaic and out of date by at least 15 years. Furthermore, they are habitually slow with processing deposits electronically. I have also seen first hand the apparent unscrupulous methods in which they Collect unjustified fees from certain patrons. I feel bad for the other pleasant employees that work there, as one can only assume they must endure a good deal of unnecessary stress and just put up with it because it's a job. I wonder if they have ever been investigated, because surely I cannot be the only one who has made these observations. If possible, find somewhere else to do your banking.

1. Courtesy Pay - I understand the concept of this however, automatically enrolling someone in it,…read moreand then charging an additional $35 on top of "courtesy payment" is dirty. After about 4 straight weeks of my account going well in triple digit negatives, I finally called to turn of courtesy pay. 2. "NSF fee" - HOWEVER, when I turned off "courtesy pay" your representative failed to tell me I would still be charged a $35 fee every time there was an ATTEMPT from a bill payment. My account has gone into the negative $300's from NSF fees alone. $35 every single time an attempt was made to pay a bill from my account? You KNOW people have automatic billing set up. To me, this feels predatory. I have probably paid Clearview over $900 at this point in NSF fees. I was charged on more than 1 occasion a $35 NSF fee when my .99 cent Apple care bill hit. One time, I was charged an NSF fee 3 days after I deposited an $800 check only to find out there is a "5 day waiting period" for mobile deposit checks. I got refunded *1* of the I think 4 NSF fees you charged me on this occasion "as a courtesy". AS A COURTESY MY ASS. 3. "Digital Assistant" - Claire? Your digital assistant? Useless. Has yet to help me with a single thing I needed. It is INSANE to me that you have people's money, in the bank, and there is no 24 hour customer support? 4. There was a fraud incident on my card. I filled out the investigation report and turned it in. $468 was stolen from me, Clearview only decided that $332 was refundable??? Like they just picked a random amount. I called and asked for a copy of my paperwork. Rep was unable to provide that so I drove to a branch (Bloomfield/Shadyside) and spoke with the branch manager. She informed me she would reach out to fraud and provide me with all the materials I asked for. Haven't heard anything. Called her yesterday and today and left a message - still haven't heard anything. Great manager, that was a great hire for sure. 5. Haven't paid my student loan in 3 months because I am broke. There are days I have to call off work because I don't have enough money for a tank of gas to get there so, student loan got put on the backburner, sorry (not sorry) about it. Because of this, they have put a $368 hold on my checking account. Account states I have "$268 available" but "-$91" current. That makes fucking sense. Back with the NSF fees got hit with 3 in a row ($105 total) because of this hold, even though my app says there is money available :) Fuck ya'll - fuck Clearview FCU, fuck the branch manager of the shadyside location, fuck your fraud investigation team, quite literally fuck all of ya'll. Terrible, terrible bank will never recommend your services to anyone.

Clearview took over Parkview FCU and it has been a disaster for the Parkview customers. I had to…read morespend hours contacting auto pay accounts with the new routing and account numbers along with those that auto deposit $$ into my checking. (Their "Auto switch" was Russian roulette) Also the on line "Bill Pay" is awful. It may take 4-6 days after the scheduled pay date before the bill is actually paid and the money is withdrawn from my checking. I was a member of Parkview for 45+ years and had I known this merger was going to be a nightmare I would have switched to a regular bank.

I can't find the model I'm looking for and I'm not sure why. I enjoy driving by and looking at their cool jukebox car building, but I would need a better reason to buy there. I've also heard stories, so make sure you get a mechanic to fully look at any car here before you buy.

The gentleman I spoke with was great and genuinely helpful. The woman I spoke with felt more dismissive, which took away from the experience. When I arrived for my pickup appointment, the rep helping me was friendly and handled everything smoothly. He even gave me recommendations for local mechanics to complete my PA state inspection. I had seen reviews saying some vehicles did not pass inspection, so I took mine in right away. It passed without any issues. My appointment was at 9 AM. By 9:30 there were three other clients waiting and only one rep working. It felt like a scheduling or staffing issue, but even with that I was only there for about an hour to an hour and a half. The truck itself was in good shape and matched the listing. The interior was the real disappointment. It was not detailed at all and placing two paper mats in the front row does not count. There was dirt on the dash and in the cupholders. Almost every hard surface has a white residue on it. Having worked in the automotive industry for six years, I would never let a client drive home in a vehicle that looked like that. I will either have to pay to have it detailed or do it myself, which should not be the case Carvana. The process was convenient and the truck was as described, but the lack of interior detailing and some service inconsistencies kept this from being a higher rated experience.
