They opened at 9AM, I got in, a bank employee got me my certified check sans any fees, and I still made the appointment at the real estate office punctually. Whew! I own a house, now!!!

We were trying to buy a second home in Pittsburgh and after six weeks of going through the mortgage application process, our bank of over 30 years told us days before the closing that the property did not qualify as a second home and that they would not consider a mortgage for a condo as an "investment property". We were on contract and were left hanging by our bank. That is where Jim Martin comes in. Our real estate agent suggested we contact Jim and from the start, Jim had a can-do attitude and worked with use to get the loan we needed. We were in constant contact, and Jim was super responsive, even replying to email and text message after normal hours. He made it a point to give us rates daily as we were working to lock in a rate and pretty much held our hand throughout the process. It was a much better experience than what we received from our own bank and our only regret is that we wasted time with our bank and didn't go to Jim first.
