I can't find the model I'm looking for and I'm not sure why. I enjoy driving by and looking at their cool jukebox car building, but I would need a better reason to buy there. I picked up my truck from Carvana yesterday and my experience was generally positive, but there were a few things worth calling out. I spoke with two client service reps over the phone. The gentleman I spoke with was great and genuinely helpful. The woman I spoke with felt more dismissive, which took away from the experience. When I arrived for my pickup appointment, the rep helping me was friendly and handled everything smoothly. He even gave me recommendations for local mechanics to complete my PA state inspection. I had seen reviews saying some vehicles did not pass inspection, so I took mine in right away. It passed without any issues. My appointment was at 9 AM. By 9:30 there were three other clients waiting and only one rep working. It felt like a scheduling or staffing issue, but even with that I was only there for about an hour to an hour and a half. The truck itself was in good shape and matched the listing. The interior was the real disappointment. It was not detailed at all and placing two paper mats in the front row does not count. There was dirt on the dash and in the cupholders. Almost every hard surface has a white residue on it. Having worked in the automotive industry for six years, I would never let a client drive home in a vehicle that looked like that. I will either have to pay to have it detailed or do it myself, which should not be the case Carvana. The process was convenient and the truck was as described, but the lack of interior detailing and some service inconsistencies kept this from being a higher rated experience. read more

I have looked at Carvana for both selling and buying a car. For buying, I opted against them, as their price points seemed a bit higher than other options. For selling, I needed to dispose of a troubled vehicle -- an older mini cooper that ran, was in good physical condition inside and out, and mo accidents. However, a big however, it was exhibiting engine issues. I filled out the online questionnaire, fully divulging dashboard lights, oil leaks. And checking the box for engine issues. Of all online car-buying options, Carvana offered me the highest price. The only downside was that, unlike the TV commercials that show the car being picked up from my driveway, I had to drive 20 miles to their location. Other than that, it was an easy peasy process with a few online signatures, making an appointment, them doing a quick inspection, my handing over keys and title, them taking off license plate to give me to turn in and reminding me to take the car off the insurance, and letting me know it would just take a couple days for my money to be deposited into my chosen account, and me getting a rideshare home. Second car from Carvana, they found out after three months that they were unable to register the car in my State and i had to return the vehicle. for starters my wheel fell off as i left the vending machine. then as i leave on a tow truck headed to get it inspected for free as per the worker at said vending machine, i drop it off. and 3 weeks have gone by, where it will not pass inspection, and carvana/silverrock will not approve the repairs. whats even better, since i was waiting WEEKS for approval, i defaulted out of my return policy. so IM stuck with a lemon. a $30,000 lemon. i will be contacting an attorney if i dont get this resolved. read more

Carvana made car buying easy. Armed with my computer I researched the right EV for my needs. The selective of EV's was impressive and the prices were very fair. Once I chose my car, the financing, insurance and notary were all online so I never had to leave the house. The 7 day grace period gave me time to haver a full inspection the vehicle by an EV specialist, Which I would encourage any car buyer gas or EV to invest in this piece of mind. Only negative was it took me 2 attempts to get the vehicle. The first car was delayed due to the EV battery failure, but the second time the car was delivered within the agreed timeframe. I was finally able to talk with a real person who was fantastic and she walked me through the process. After that I was ok. Signing documents and sending pictures of my license on line was new to me. I had an appointment to sell my car at 9 am on a Friday, filled out all the paperwork, and woke up to an email rescheduling my appointment for the following Wednesday. I was out of town, so I had to reschedule that appointment for a Monday 10 days from my original appointment. I was assured my quote would still be honored even though it was past the window. When I showed up Monday to sell my car, I did not have an appointment. I called customer service since they are not able to do anything on site, and after 15 minutes of being on hold, I called back. This time, after 10 minutes, I was told my appointment was canceled because they didn't have my title. Of course they didn't have my title, I have my title, so it was a ridiculous excuse. The women said she got me scheduled for 3 pm that day and since I was still onsite, they might be able to take me now (10 am at this point, my appointment was for 9 am). I head to desk and my appointment is not there. She made my appointment for Tuesday at 3 pm, so now nobody could help me. I called customer service again, and was told now the best they could do was the following Tuesday. I said I wanted sooner since it was there mistake, and was told there was nothing they could do except offer me $50 after the sale for my inconvenience. I ended up rearranging work schedules again to be able to make the Tuesday 3 pm appointment. On Tuesday at 3 pm, the appointment was fast and seamless. It's too bad it was pure chaos and frustration leading up to the appointment. The fact that they cancel appointments with little or NO notification is ridiculous, and then there is nothing anyone at the location can do is extremely frustrating. Had I not already gone through the process 3 times to get my appointment, I would have taken my car somewhere else. The appointment scheduling is a very poor experience with Carvana. The people working at the physical location are very nice, and I feel bad they have to deal with the incompetence of their online scheduling team. read more

Dear Carvana Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding the recent purchase of a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (purchased on May 15, 2025) from Carvana, my fifth and likely final transaction with Carvana. Upon picking up the vehicle at the Moosic, PA location, I immediately identified a large crack in the windshield. I notified the Carvana associate at the time of pickup, who acknowledged the damage, took photos of the crack using his iPad, and confirmed that notes were added to my account indicating the issue. He also assured me that an after-sales repair would be approved to resolve the matter. Despite this documented acknowledgment and the associate's verbal assurance, I have now received an email from Carvana denying the repair, and customer support has stated there is no record of the photos or notes. This response is unacceptable, especially given that the damage was brought to Carvana's attention before I took possession of the vehicle. Selling a vehicle with undisclosed visible damage, particularly one that may affect vehicle inspection or safety compliance, raises serious concerns under the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law. The fact that the issue was acknowledged and then denied adds further weight to a claim of deceptive or misleading business practices. I am requesting that Carvana: Honor the original promise made by the delivery associate and approve a full windshield repair or replacement at no cost to me. Provide a written response to this complaint within 24 hours of receipt, to maintain my 7-Day return window If this issue is not resolved promptly and fairly, not only will I return the vehicle as I am still within the 7-Day return window, I will have no choice but to also File a formal complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection Submit a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Explore legal remedies through Pennsylvania's Magisterial District Court (small claims) I hope we can resolve this without further escalation. I would still prefer to maintain a positive relationship with Carvana and believe that honoring this repair request is both appropriate and necessary. read more

I thought the offer was fair, however they resche the day they were initially scheduled to pick up my vehicle which ended up in a days worth of lost wages. I then had to reschedule another day off without wages. their "compensation " was for an Uber driver to drive me back home if I were to drive it 65 miles to Carvana, or schedule it on a weekend so I wouldn't lose any more wages (still would have cost me fuel for another vehicle to come get me). none of those offers replaced the lost wages due to their rescheduling. Also, had I drove the 65 miles and ANY damage occurred on the way down (rock chip in the windshield, accident etc) then I would most likely be on the hook for that, out of pocket or insurance. I Would have given a 2 star rating but when I called in, Felicia was very empathetic to the situation and a good customer service associate. She should be moved into Sherry's job. read more

Went to pick up our new truck and trade in our other car. Got there and first off the woman at the front was not very friendly. Started doing paperwork and as the salesman Brandon went to check out our trade in, we asked for the keys to the new truck to start it and drive it around the lot. He said "no you cant have them we dont allow that but I can unlock it for you". Very weird but fine. (Should have been a red flag there) When we got into the truck to leave the battery was dead!!! So first off they lied stating that all the cars are checked over. They obviously are NOT. It took longer to get our car that we owned less than 10 min before returned. He lied to us stating that it was fine before, which if it was im pretty sure he would have given us the keys. As I spoke with customer service she informed me they MUST give you the keys if you ask for them. Not only that but as we were waiting to get our trade in back he walked though the waiting area a few times and never acknowledged his other customers. Although I had to wait longer than my scheduled appointment time, once we got started, the pick up process was quick and efficient I've run into a few issues with the vehicle, and the silver rock 100 day warranty has proven to be very effective and relatively efficient for problem resolution Despite reporting no accidents, the front end has definitely been repainted. I think that's more of a reporting issue than a carvana issue, but I'll admit I was surprised when I first looked over the vehicle at Carvana. Someone at Carvana along the way should've definitely noticed this as well. Overall, the vehicle appears to be in pretty great shape and was appropriately priced. read more

we bought a beautiful 2014 pilot from this store. The car was not PA inspected. We were assured the car would pass inspection As it had just undergone a "Highly thorough Carvana inspection process". Two days later my wife takes the truck for inspection and the brakes fail Inspection. And they didn't fail by a millimeter. pads were shot. We replaced the pads and as the mechanic is pulling the truck from the bay the transmission starts making a loud grinding noise. At that point I decided to intact the return policy. I will never trust this vehicle or any other from Carvana. They actually asked if I'd like to explore replacing the car. What? So I can inspect another one of your beater cars for you and return it for you to sell to another sucker? I will never trust Carvana again. my Wife starts a new job this week. Now I have to scramble to find her another car, pull more from saving since it will take two weeks to get my 4k back from Carvana. Overall terrible experience. It started off good. we selected the car, received outside financing, and the Carvana told us that both the borrrower and co-signer have to be physically present to receive the car. That's impossible for us since my daughter lives in Pittsburgh and I am retired military living in another state. They would not an accept power of attorney or a letter from the lender. The customer service representatives have a script and they do not deviate. No creative customer support. After two days I chatted with a Carvana "supervisor." The supervisor sent the link to a policy that applies to cars financed through Carvana. Neither my bank or state law requires both to be physically present. In fact my bank said NO other dealer requires both to be present. Just one or a power of attorney is sufficient. I have numerous retired military colleagues who've had problems with Carvana and I see the social media reviews are the same. Carvana came out of financial peril through reduced customer service. They have a set solution that is best for Caravana but may not be right for the customer. My recommendation is seek other car solutions. Unless something changes Carvana will not survive. Good and then another commercial solution will enter the market. read more

I can only speak to the process of selling a vehicle, but it was by far the easiest thing I have ever done (and I have bought/sold several vehicles). I had entered the information for my vehicle and received an offer, but decided to hold off on the original quote provided...A week later, I went in, and the offer was a bit higher, so I decided to move forward. I scheduled my drop-off date for one week out (to get things in order with our second vehicle first). I chose not to have them pick it up because the Carvana location is only about 10 minutes away from my house - not worth the $90 pick-up fee, in my opinion. I was able to complete all of the paperwork online prior to my drop-off time, so when I dropped off my car on 3/18, I literally removed my own license plate, handed my keys to the Carvana rep, walked around my car, and was done! I mention the date because of the financial process--it was so much better than I had anticipated! I dropped off the car on 3/18, chose ACH for payment, and the funds were available in my bank account on 3/19. The remainder of my car loan was paid off on 3/19 as well. This was much faster than any other dealership I have ever dealt with. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to sell a vehicle. We waited long past the appointment time to find someone who would finalize the transaction. While we waited, the next appointment in line arrived and fell into line behind us. My boyfriend had a great experience purchasing a used car through Carvana. We shared a honda fit for three years and it was time that we each needed our own car. He decided to check out Carvana after hearing about the great experiences my dad and brother had using it. After seeing what our Honda Fit would be worth, he checked out the trade in value with Carvana. After driving it for 3 years, they gave us $3,000 more than what we originally paid for it if we did a trade in. You definitely need to be patient while browsing the website. We looked at cars for probably 1 full month, putting "hearts" on our favorites. Each day we watched the favorites be sold. It is a hard time to buy a car right now! After going back and forth on a few different options, he went with a Kia Forte. I don't know much about cars, but I love that it is burnt orange LOL. He did all of the paperwork online and scheduled a time for us to go pick it up at their location in Bridgeville. We were greeted at the door, and the workers were friendly and didn't waste our time. After my boyfriend showed him a few documents, it was time to take the car for a test drive. They gave us a coin (just like in the commercial) that we put in the car vending machine. It was so wild watching it float down. The cars all looked bright and shiny in the parking garage like vending machine. After the test drive, he was sold. The car was a perfect fit. While we took it on the test drive, the workers looked at our Honda Fit. We were only gone for about 15 minutes, so I'm not sure how in depth the inspection of our old car was. When we got back, he signed some more papers, and we were out the door! There haven't been any issues with the car, and we were really happy with the experience. Bought a white 2023 nissan rogue at caravan and I had the most horrible experience ever. First off caravana gave us a vehicle that had a gas leak and we did find out until we got inspection which we paid for. We then exchange the vehicle to another color and now the oil change light came on 2 days after purchasing the vehicle and the splash cover behind the wheel is missing and we found this out the next day after purchasing this vehicle. They then say to us that they will give us a complimentary oil change only and not the splash cover behind the wheel which exposes the engine. We now are at the mechanic shop that they are in network with and now they are saying they will not cover the oil change. Now I have to spend 200$ to fix the problem.
