I've been seeing a provider here for a while now and she's great as are the majority of the staff as well..which is the only reason I keep returning. Klamath falls is like a black hole when it comes to finding a primary care provider. The reason for the low score has nothing to do with the people,but everything to with the operational structure. no matter what you can't talk to anyone in your own providers office unless you walk through the door..,all of their calls are routed to a switchboard which I feel is BS. Why should I have to give my medical history to someone I don't know or have a relationship with when I have questions regarding a pre-authorization. In the past I've called with an issue only to find out that it wasn't forwarded by the person that took my call. read more

I have been a patient at One Peak Medical for almost two years. The turnover of health care providers is high, getting an appointment is very tedious, and if one needs help as soon as possible, forget it! Expect at least a week delay. Appointments also inexplicably disappear from their system as does patient information. Don't bother trying to do anything online. It is always frustrating and, more often than not, a waste of time. I would not recommend One Peak Medical to anyone nor will I ever return. read more

I have been a patient at One Peak for 8 months and wish I had found another clinic after my first appointment. From the first day the receptionist was very rude, short, and easily angered--shockingly unprofessional. Without my prompting, my husband commented on her after his first appointment as well. I stuck around to give this place a good try. When I moved to KF I chose this place because of the good reviews and quickly discovered that the doctors at this facility (mine was Jan Hansen) are always trying to sell you something; I frequently felt like I was at a car dealership. This is because the owner of the chain produces her own line of nutritional supplements and wants her providers to push them on you. Given my experience, as well as my husband's--I now have a very hard believing that the numerous positive reviews are real. I have seen a few that praise Jan for her ability to listen and make patients feel listened to. I want to tell these patients to just wait; the next time you see her she won't remember anything you or she said. They advertise as being available for primary care, but if you do this, do not expect informed or diversified treatment from them. Jan was embarrassingly undereducated on several of my health issues and I had to do research and make recommendations to her myself (!). She frequently forgets important details of discussions you have with her, and will tell you one thing then change her mind later. For almost 20 years I have worked on finding the best way to manage primary dysmenorrhea--when I first started seeing her I told her I was open to alternative treatments for other health issues but that I did not want to immediately change my approach since it took so long to find something that worked for me. She said okay and agreed to continue to prescribe what I take despite her close-minded philosophies on treatment (would be one thing if her methods work but they do not). After she told me she would continue to provide me with prescriptions I have taken for a decade and that I shouldn't worry about that or find another provider elsewhere, wouldn't you have guessed that she refused to refill the prescription when it was time. My approach to my health is varied and I have seen acupuncturists, masseuses, and traditional doctors and have found the best doctors to be open to diverse methods and approaches to treatment. I do hot yoga, meditate, exercise regularly, and eat healthy. At One Peak you will not find an-open-minded NP, ironically. If you come here be prepared for a narrow and judgmental approach to your issues, an unprofessional front desk, and uninformed practitioners. I understand now why when I see my specialists and they ask me if in addition to One Peak I see a real doctor. I totally get it now. Hope this review saves you time and money. The more I visited One Peak the more if began to feel like the people there do not know what they are doing. read more

I gave one star because it won't let me have zero stars. I started going to Peak because there was no doctors in town that were accepting new patients. I am sorry I ever went there. Poor nurse practitioners, and even worse nurses that never answer the phone or email messages that were about my medication. I have also made the mistake of telling others about them, and I feel terrible for doing so. The staff screwed up their hormones. Don't go there, be smart! read more

First peak medical. You have my phone number. I told the doctor and staff I was moving. Still did not get a call about a bill I missed. Instead they sent the bill to some folks to screw up my credit: I would have rather gotten sick then have gone in. Sorry but this fucked with my life over a 60$ bill without one phone call. I am super happy with the excellent medical care I've received from Becka Meek NFP for general care and hormonal issues, and Molly for diet concerns. They have a very professional staff, flexible appt. scheduling, supplements onsite, great followup, and openness to more than traditional therapies. When you have Medicare as a primary insurance carrier, you can be dismissed quickly by some offices or not even seen. Not with Peak! Your medical issues are dealt with in a compassionate and thorough manner despite your insurance situation. Peak is not your everyday health clinic and I am glad for it! read more

If I could post 0 that's what this place would get and deserve. This place is a joke! We moved to Klamath Falls recently. We tried to get a Dr but there wasn't one anywhere in southern Oregon for at least 6 months or longer. This place had openings (we wondered why) so decided to try them out. We had an appt with the NP, don't think they have a real doctor, anyway the NP told us she would send in our prescriptions that morning. No prescriptions were called in so when I talked to the office, in person, she said we would have to talk to our provider we just saw. Needless to say we will be going into an immediate care place, hoping we can find a dr that can fill our prescriptions. We are seniors and really don't feel like jumping through all the hoops. I am very happy with the new Peak Medical Center. It just opened a couple of months ago, and it is great. The staff are all very helpful, polite and professional. The health providers, Emily and Rebecca are highly knowledgeable. I like Rebecca, who I had seen at the Klamath Women's Clinic for over 3 years. But it closed, and now Peak is her new home. They have hormone therapy which I have, as well as general health care. They also do age management, nutrition IV therapy. I have been well taken care of by Becca, Emily, and all the staff, nurses, etc. read more
