I called, sent numerous emails, messages through the patient portal....they refused to respond or bill anything to my son's school injury claim....then sent me to collections without even a notification email. This place is absolutely horrible.They treat women with no respect. I went in for a UTI and was asked 18 times if I was a prostitute. I said , no I just got off of work it was a 7:30am apt. The nurse then said you are a prostitute. It took everything I had not to smack her in the mouth. I said, no I got the night shift every legitimate job.Please show me some respect in which she never did. Imagine having a healthcare provider and the staff , assuming you're a prostitute and then treating you like your some kind of disease. But wait, are doctors supposed to help you?Didn't they take a hippocronical oath. All I can say is do better for yourself.Don't go here. read more

New doctor there. He was very accommodating and we absolutely agreed on the treatment. I'm not exactly a fan of the new app to register as a patient.. Just because not everyone is tech savvy or have phones that can use QR -- such as elderly patients. Also I would prefer to have opted out. read more

I received such amazing care at BestMed Urgent Care on Shasta Way in Klamath Falls, OR today. I was able to book an appointment online and was seen right away. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. Dr. Nicole was efficient and kind, along with her wonderful Assistants, Mikell and Kelsey. Kelsey was an angel and spent all the time it took to patiently and carefully remove obstructions in my ear! When I left, all the pain was eliminated and my ears clean and in great shape. We went in at 10am and was told the wait time is 1.5 hours. Almost two hours later, we come back from breakfast and we're told we were never really "put" in line and have to reschedule. What a waste of a morning. Never coming back here. read more

I had a recent health issue that needed to be addressed urgently. I called ahead and set a suggested time to come in based on information that I had read on their website to help alleviate having to sit in their waiting area for a long period of time. Not only was I seen quickly I also received excellent care. My care providers name was Andy. He is a family nurse practitioner and he helped resolve the issues that I was experiencing during my visit. I was also cared for by Brenda, Kelsey and Mikell. They were all very professional and kind. They even have on site Radiology, which was very helpful for me since I needed an x-ray. I would highly recommend a visit to Best Med Urgent Care. read more

Avoid this place if you can. You need an appointment scheduled (which defeats the purpose of urgent care), you can only make appointments the day of, and even with this there are long wait times. I am sitting in the waiting room after my second attempt of getting help and there is a 5 hour and 20 minute wait time. I took off work, scheduled an appointment as early as I could, and they told me that my appointment would be ready at 11:00, it's now been two hours after that and I haven't been seen. Some of the front desk staff are rude, especially the guy that is typically at the front. The nurses and nurse practitioners were incredibly nice and sweet though. I didn't have an appointment and came in 2 hours before they closed. The receptionist said she would get me in to see a doctor but warned the wait might be long. I had the best doctor, M Sample. She was calm, professional and caring. About 1 1/2 hours later I was done, feeling very relieved and thankful for the excellent service received from all the staff. read more

I was turned away for something they should have been able to handle but they wouldn't look at me and said go to the ER. I went to the ER and I was yelled at for not going to Urgent Care. However, this last visit was great. Melissa Sample is the doctor you want to see, as I've had her twice and she's always attentive and caring. Also reception is CLEAN!!!! Love it. And the nurse practitioners are also always great. I want Melissa as MY doctor and I am gonna steal her away lol. She's always on top of things! read more

I've been to Basin/Nova 3 or 4 times as of this writing, for myself and for my husband. We have received good care each time, with the exception of being sent to the ER for a toe infection. The NP felt that it might need further imaging to be sure it hadn't infected the bone, which is out of their capacity to perform. That seemed reasonable to me. All of the providers I've dealt with were professional, showed concern, and seemed to be well informed. I don't know what more can be expected from an Urgent Care facility. I can't compare them to Basin since I was only there once, the first visit, before they changed to Nova. I didn't notice any difference after the change. There are definitely times where the wait is long, but also times when there are few people and you can get in quickly. This would have little to do with Nova, and is just part of being a walk in facility. I would personally go to Nova before going to the Skylakes ER, where I've waited up to 9 hours to be seen. read more

$513.27 for 5 minutes to see a nurse practitioner. CHARGED FOR TORADOL INJECTIONS NEVER RECEIVED!!! When your sick and hurting you're vulnerable. After years of using Basin Immediate Care I thought Nova Health would be similar. They aren't. On a Sunday morning we scheduled a 10:00 am appointment online, arrived on time. We gave our credit card and payed $100. After waiting 2 hours received a 5 minute consult for an ear infection, and got a prescription. 48 hours later we received a bill for $513.27. We called billing and they gave us a self pay discount of 20%. Still steep. Then we were told the charge was high because we were first time patients of Nova (not Basin). So it won't matter that you went there before. Here's the big one. Since the provider says injections were given they take his word for it. They have the lot number of the injection on our statement. So that would be a HIPPA problem, wrong patient problem, possible theft, addiction problem....something problem, but instead the billing person just wanted to tell me they were taking the word of their provider that they gave Toradol injections for an ear infection. Please ask a lot of questions when going here. It's not Basin anymore. I'm waiting for more phone calls from Nova and will update if a solution is successful. I just hope that they care for Klamath. read more

Just found out today Nova Primary Care closed. I'm so sad as finding a doctor outside of the sky lakes monopoly is near impossible. The office was so wonderful and refreshing; being treated as if they actually cared was a far cry from what I was used to with SL docs. Just glad they still haven't stopped urgent care. read more

Had a small mishap while using my mandolin food slicer. I had not been to BestMed since it changed partnerships, so didn't know what to expect. From the minute I walked in I was impressed. The receptionist saw that I was bleeding pretty good, and only asked for the minimal information, saying I could complete the paperwork after my visit. I was taken back immediately. Quickly a tech got my hand soaking and took what info she needed, even assisting me to fill out minimal paperwork. I admit, I did wait awhile to see the Dr. but between the original tech and the PA (Brenda Mendoza) they came in to check on me from time to time. Brenda was so sweet, accommodating and attentive. So very kind. When I did get to see theDr. (Dr. Gansberg) she was just awesome. It was a busy day but I felt like she really cared and listened to me. Since I was leaving to go on vacay in a couple days, she explained why it would be better to glue the cut instead of sutures. Can't say enough good about my experience.
