It's very clean, although the air circulation is sometimes not the best and the smell of polishes can be overbearing. If you get powder gel refills, there's only one person who does them (the business owner) so sometimes you have to wait a long time if she's busy with someone else. She is also the only one to accept payments, so she gets up every time a customer is ready to leave. If you're not in a hurry it's fine but if you have no patience, I wouldn't come here. I've switched from the powder refills to just plain shellac and my appointments are much quicker. The nail estheticians are all super friendly, though they don't always understand what you're saying lol. Walk-ins are usually welcome although an appointment is recommended. I would give a 3.5 stars but that's not an option so I'll round it out to a 4.

I went in for a refill (they tidy up your nails with powder (I call it nail cocaine) and a new polish colour) and it cost me 40$ with tax and tip. Not cheap and I'm not sure they did a much better job than the last place I went to. The place is hard to find unless you know your way around the Montreal downtown underground. It's in the tunnel that connects PVM and Centre Eaton. They close at 7pm on Mondays and I finish work at 6pm. When I got there there were already 3 people finishing up so I really thought they weren't going to have time to fit me in but it wasn't a problem. The removal of my old polish was really fast. The man had all sorts of gadgets and tools. Then he cut my fake nail tips, applied the nail powder (cocaine), and finished up with nail filling (I originally thought you file the nail and then apply the powder). The guy who shaped my nails was a pro! He was filling it every direction making sure every inch of my nails were cut evenly and smoothly. It was great! The part that turned it into just an ok visit was the application of the colour which was done by a lady. The colour I wanted was mislabeled and so they didn't have it in stock anymore. I had to choose another colour on the spot so I'm not completely in love with it. And also, the lady who painted my nails painted one of them crooked. You can't see it when my fingers are together but you can totally tell once the finger is alone. For 40$, I don't think that should happen. Maybe my nail is misshapen but shouldn't they fix that then? Instead of using gel polish that is just polish, she used the kind you put in the little cooker thingy. I don't think I like that method because, even though it's faster, I don't think it feels or looks as good. In the grand scheme of things, it's small. They still did an ok job and it is a very convenient location. They were also very friendly. Verdict is still out on wether I'll return.

I decided to try to nail salon as it's very close to my apartment and not very busy during the…read moreweek. I got a shellac manicure and the manicurist clipped off all my cuticles to the point where it was slightly painful. I was satisfied with the colour and style of my nails and left satisfied. However, only two days later, my manicure began to chip (shellac manicures usually remain fully intact for at least a week). Disappointed, I returned and asked the salon to fix the manicure. They then proceeded to paint two of the chipped nails the wrong colour by accident, despite the fact that I told them the colour I had gotten done only two days before. Thankfully, they didn't charge me for the service, As of today, less than a week after the initial manicure, all of my nails are chipped and look worse than before I got them re-done. Despite the staff being very friendly, I won't be returning due to the poor quality of the manicure.

They are busy so an appointment is recommended. Upon entering, you're greeted by two huge fish tanks full of rufa fish. By dipping your feet into one of these tanks for 15 minutes before your pedicure, you essentially lose a good deal of dead skin. That's right, they eat it right off of you. I didn't try it this time but I'm curious and saw one brave soul squirm for the first 5 minutes of the procedure then she settled in with a magazine. My pedicure ($35) included a workout for my feet. Be prepared for a tough (lots of punching and slapping) foot and lower leg massage and a massaging chair. In and out in a half hour, it was worth the price and I'd go back.

I came in near the end of their shift, not being from Montreal, I didn't want to have to go driving around to find another place, but the took me in and did a great job of my nails. They were really meticulous about getting all the dry skin and cleaning up my cuticles. Loved it! Probably not the biggest selection on colours still a good variety and I was able to find something I liked. Make sure to bring cash, cause they don't take plastic!

This is the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done by far. firstly, the nail tech didn't listen to my request to keep the length on my nails but It wasnt a huge deal so I looked past it, but Then she cuts my skin with the electric file and causes me to bleed. when she began cutting my cuticles I realized she hadn't opened a fresh pack (I'm used to salons using fresh cuticle cutters from a sealed package) which was another red flag. when it came time for the french tip, the tech switched over with the only other employee so she could begin working on the design. I felt bad because it was apparent that the second tech did not have much experience and was clearly nervous, but the way she applied the French tip was So strange to me because she would apply a thick line and then use a brush with nail polish remover to fix it up, causing white streaks all over my nails. This process took her 10 min for 3 nails, resulting in the first tech coming over to rush and finish the design, making each nail different and some crooked. The main reason I am writing a review is because 4 days later my thumb nail has an infected hangnail otherwise known as paronychia.
