Some difficulty in finding company that handles tile roofs. Onit was one of the ones that would. They conducted professional, on roof inspection. Took pictures to show me what was wrong. Found nine damaged tiles, plus two roof jacks that I knew were leaking. Took longer to provide estimate than I expected, but estimate was reasonable. Price was 25% of what some others bid. Plus Onit said they could start quickly. Time from initial contact to completed work: 10 days. Completed repairs in a couple hours. Provided pictures of the repairs. I was very satisfied. read more

She was completely professional and friendly, and took the time to thoroughly access what we needed at a reasonable cost. I had a roof leak and using Yelp I got a bunch of replies back, I had a few roofers coming out to my house for a quote. Everyone of them immediately said I needed a new roof. Josh was the only one who showed me pictures of my roof the moment he got off of my roof. Everyone else wanted to send the report later when they put it together. I felt very comfortable with the advice I was given by Josh and he explained to me what the other roofing companies found and were considering "storm" damage. He showed me a picture that another roofer claimed was wind damage and it was clearly dry rotting/blistering from the Texas heat. Josh showed me everything and was very open and in my opinion very honest about the damage I had on my roof. He sent me my quote the next morning and I was shocked to see the price was really reasonable! After he left I thought ok, everyone has mentioned the increase in inflation and the increased prices on supplies so I was totally expecting it to be well over a grand. I started to put a price in my head that I wouldn't go above and when I saw they not only were able to get my price under a $1k they were several hundred dollars below what I had in my head as a deal breaker. He had everything broken down into sections and the cost for each section. I signed right away and Josh was already calling his installer and had me scheduled first thing the next morning even though he had told me it might be later in the day because they had 5 other jobs to do that day. Alfredo the installer was very professional, did not leave any mess which is something I immediately looked for because I have a puppy that puts everything in her mouth right now and I didn't find anything, well actually I did find one very small piece of a shingle on the side on my house in the backyard but I can live with that. They didn't bother me or make a ton of noise other then what was needed for the job since it was early Saturday morning, they were fast and efficient. Since I have bought this house I have had a few repairs done and this company was by far the best I've ever dealt with. They are my roofers for life! Needed some gutters installed on our home. Josh came out the next day to take a peek and give us a quote. His report was very, very detailed and extremely professional. My husband had some questions with regards to some of the specs of the materials being quoted and what he wanted and they were able to work those out quickly. Their quote was not the most expensive, nor was it the least expensive but somewhere in between. Once we had a couple other quotes in our possession we felt the most comfortable with Onit's presentation and professional manner. When it was to start the job, it was on; they came in next morning and tore out some suspect wood, replaced it and repainted it. The following day they came out and installed our seamless gutter system by the afternoon everything was done including cleanup. Have no negatives to add, the entire process was seriously fantastic. Now all we need is some rain to see how the gutters perform!! We have some other jobs that Onit stated they would be happy to quote and even though it would not appear to be their wheelhouse, their quotes came out very competitively. I highly recommend Onit Roofing. I contracted Onit because we needed our gutters cleaned. They sent someone over who then quit on them after he had completed our job. After the first rain it became apparent that this former employee did not do a quality job - when I called about it, they promptly refunded me every dollar without any hassle and apologized! A few weeks later I realized that I still needed to have them cleaned - and cleaned thoroughly. Because Onit was so easy to work with and refunded me the money when the first job didn't go well, I decided to give them a second chance. I couldn't be happier! They sent out two men who got to work and did an excellent job - even providing me with pictures to show the insides of the gutters from up on the roof. I cannot say enough good things about Onit Roofing. We live near Humble and Atascocita which experienced hail in late April. We are not the type of family that jumps on the first salesman that knocks on our door. Brett was the fifth company on my roof and when he came down he was the first that I felt didn't try to sell me a roof. He was kind, honest, and confident that it was time for our roof to be replaced for it had some significant damages. Throughout this process he has been prompt in responses, present, and making sure my family is satisfied even if that meant going over my yard with a magnet 10 times to make sure my daughters don't get a nail in their foot. While the crew was working on my roof they were respectful and polite. Best part is THEY HAND NAILED EVERY NAIL!!!!!
