The store is run by a family who care about their customers & will look out for them. This place is a huge warehouse full of couches, living room furniture, beds, tables, and more. The stock on the floor is all brand new and at outlet pricing -- their stock fluctuates and is never guaranteed, so if you like something you better pick it up! You can check their facebook to do a little browsing but I highly recommend coming in to browse and sit in the furniture before you make a decision. One thing that really sold us on this place was the financing that was offered. It's something like 100 days with no extra fees to pay off your furniture -- after that marked date there's a pretty big markup. Here's the really nice part: the guy who owns the place will help you figure out if the piece you're looking at financing is a good financial move for you. He'll help you calculate what your monthly payments would work out to be and even advises you not to buy something if you can't pay it off within the time before the extra markup kicks in. You can tell that he cares about the customers and wants them to have a good experience. I appreciate that SO MUCH. We love our couch and actually just paid it off this week. It fits perfectly in our house - the store has measuring tape for you to borrow - and really elevates our living room. We paid probably $60-$80 for delivery from this location to St Louis Park. It was a no brainer. Delivery setup was easy and speedy. Just keep in mind that all sales are final and that their stock is here today and gone tomorrow!

When we decided to purchase, the process was smooth and we had our new couch delivered just 3 days later! The delivery team was professional and friendly. They had a difficult task maneuvering a sectional couch down our narrow stairway, but they made it happen with zero damage to our home! We enjoyed the sales experience, but what they sold us for a warranty is absolutely terrible. On top of that, the couch itself is horrible quality. We purchased a reclining couch from Slumberland less than a year ago and also bought the GBS extended warranty for "peace of mind." What a joke. For the past two months, the back of our couch was crooked, and last weekend a metal part actually broke through and hit me in the back. When I contacted GBS warranty service, I was told they would not cover it or even send someone out to review the damage because the crooked back "existed more than 30 days ago." I explained the real concern is the metal piece now sticking out of my couch, but they still declined the claim. So basically, this "5-year protection" we were sold is completely worthless. Slumberland made it seem like we'd be covered for repairs or replacement if anything went wrong--completely false. GBS hides behind fine print and looks for ways to deny every claim. Please do NOT waste your money on the extended warranty through GBS/Slumberland or trust Slumberland's misleading sales pitch. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment--we paid for a warranty and a couch that turned out to be worthless.

It was almost half price according to the tag. Despite that it ended up not being a hybrid when it came, but just regular foam and gel, I was told that is what I was getting. I called 3 or 4 times and talked to the salesman, the assistant manger and the manager about this saying it was misrepresented and I wanted the price I thought I was going to pay for the hybrid. It was a no go. I could return it and pay the additional amount with was about another$600 and probably a pick up fee and restocking fee. I was also told that, "they would feel the same".No I don't think so. Unhappy.
