When I got there I could tell right away that they were not a consignment shop, all pieces are original and very unique! Prices aren't too shabby either. I have a couple photos attached but I could've spent the day. I'm still trying to figure out what pieces I can't live without but I could spend a fortune! The sales associate was friendly and not overbearing. Check it out if you're looking for some accent pieces, night stands, TV stand, tables, chairs, and bookcases. Great experience…read more The furniture was competitively priced. Good selection in a wide variety of price ranges. We were impressed with the after-purchase plan price and the coverage provided. Delivery charge is a little higher than preferred for a small sized delivery . Overall, we'll always return to Schneiderman's. Local and fair. Our sales person, Thomas, was a star of the experience. Knowledgeable, kind, and his closing of the sale was not intimidating or pressure filled.

I also like when the Christmas displays come around. So many things to look at. I feel like they usually have coupons or deals via the rewards system which is cool. I feel like most of the staff are in the front end and they are usually nice. I sometimes find pops from other countries to try or even exotic snacks. There were sections with Christmas related merchandise and just other merchandise. I naturally gravitated towards the stationary/book section-- lots of offerings there. The food/drink sections were huge. Lots of items to explore including international items as well. I thought that was very neat. I briefly looked at the jewelry/aromatherapy section. I found a few pieces of jewelry I'd wear, super cute! Lastly, I headed over to the kitchen section. Found some really cool plates and other kitchen items. I do have to say I was a little disappointed that I passed 3 employees during my visit and not one even acknowledged me. I thought that was very strange and unacceptable. You should say hello to customers when they visit the store. Customer service skills are a large part of customer satisfaction and help decide if the customer will be returning or not. Overall, my first time here was enjoyable and glad I stopped in to check it out. I' think if/when I'm in the area I'll stop back in to see what new goodies they have that time around. I ordered a sofa that was delayed over 8 months (a combination of covid delays and my order being lost somewhere between the store and the manufacturer), but that is not what was so disappointing. The staff never proactively called me - I had to call multiple times each month to follow up on my order and was only told to "be patient." There never seemed to be a sense of urgency to try and find out what was actually going on with my order. Then, when I expressed my frustration with the sales team after the wrong item was delivered (after 7.5 months of waiting), they were defensive, angry, and accused me of calling them liars. Will not ever be shopping with them again and I have already warned my friends and family members away from them.

I spent over 2 1/2 hours sifting through what appeared to be a very large selection of rugs, only to learn once I narrowed down my search to my top 3 choices, two of those three were no longer available to order (but still in the showroom as available samples). I moved on from my rug to choose my custom couch. The order was entered so I assumed all was good - yay! Nope! One week after ordering, I received a phone call stating the material I chose was no longer available and I needed to make another selection - which also meant changing my four accent pillows and returning the rug that I had purchased elsewhere. Lastly, our recliners were standard (non-custom) orders. We were given a delivery date of up to 12-15 weeks out! Because we were exhausted in this purchasing process, we agreed. Now, here I am....15 weeks out with no update. I called to check on the status of our order, only to learn it has been pushed out another 6-8 weeks - for STANDARD recliners! Prepare yourself for what appears to be great variety and selection in their showroom, but then learning, it really isn't an option, as well as 5-6 months to get your order! If we weren't already months into this process, I would cancel for sure!

This place has so many things for such affordable prices. Some of the items are brand new and even with the tag still on and some are more antique used items.
