My husband and I are taking classes to learn trading at Online Trading Academy. At first we were really scared thinking that trading had many moving parts and it would be too complex to understand. But to our surprise the instructors made the whole concept of trading so easy and simple to understand that we both walked out feeling confident and energized to learn. The class setting is very hands on and teaches you everything that you need to know (from A-Z) about trading. The instructors and staff member's number one focused is to make sure that students learned to trade well. They are in constant communication with you to make sure that you are successfully trading on your own. I have done many years of schooling, including getting my MBA, and not once did anyone tell me 'what can I do to make you succeed in this program'. And I paid a lot more money getting my Bachelor degree and Master's degree than at Online Trading Academy. The school is always brain storming to find new ways to help their students succeed. On top of having good online resources, they have come up with a new Booth-Camp class to help students put their trade plan together, work on core strategy, provide technical help with Trade Station Platform, review your trades to see if you are on track, etc. I really like this class because it gives you one-on-one help and ensures that you follow your rules of trading. For people, like my husband and I, that have children, and are not risk takers, we need this type of help to make us come out of our fears. They give you homework with steps to take and hold you accountable and we need that. I have learned that there are 3 main components of trading. First is leaning the methodology of trading. Second is learning the Trade Station Platform. Third is getting over your emotions (fear, procrastination, greed, etc.) of trading. We feel that the Booth-Camp class helps with all of this. Another thing I like about Online Trading Academy is once you join, you become a member and part of a community. They offer a lot of other classes such as Future, Option, ForeEx, etc. that increases your wealth and makes you smarter about your finances. Again the good thing is that you can re-take these classes for life! Which school does that? I love Online Trading Academy! I have taken several courses from Online Trading Academy. The Academy provides in-class training followed up with continual on-line training and other education; both are top notch! In addition, for advanced students they provide additional training as well as an on-line forum for students to talk with each other, sharing experiences, charts, and advice. It is clear the instructors and staff all care about our success. One thing to be aware of though - this is not a get rich quick scheme. Learning to trade successfully takes study and practice, and some students pick it up faster than others. But OTA provides the materials you need to learn - the effort is up to you. I was a bit skeptical when I came to the free Saturday session. Too often these types of sessions are mostly marketing and motivational speeches with little substance. But after listening to their approach, and challenging any inconsistencies I thought I heard, I came away understanding their approach and how it could benefit my trading strategies. I am a CPA and financial professional with over thirty years of trading experience, so I was positioned to access their presentation. I had taken 2 classes (Core Strategy & Futures) at OTA Tysons. My experience have been very positive ......All staffs are always nice, friendly & helpful. The instructors (Scott Maragioglio & Jerry Balwin) were awesome, knowledgeable & made my learning experience very interesting/exciting. Classroom material, real life example (simulation trading), online extended learning/knowledge reinforcement are really prepare you to be a successful trader. Also, OTA offers a lifetime class re-take which I think it's really helpful in case you need to refresh your knowledge or would like to learn a different trading strategy from different instructors. OTA is a God send to my retirement account. Instead of growing poorer with hidden fees managed by investment managers, I'm able to cut out the middle man to take care of my own money. With OTA's training they not only taught me how to diversify on my own, but how to readjust for small loses and great gains. I was looking for a place or an education center for trading academy in Virginia that i can go and get the knowledge for the stock marketing, so I looked some of the trading academies online and one that I got in Vienna, VA and it is called Trading Academy. The good thing about this place is good that you can trained by a person One on One, so if you have a question or any other issues the instructors are there for you. I took the pro trader class. I learned a lot about how to trade what different strategies there are to trading and how I can keep it up and make money in the future. OTA DC has great management and the employees are really nice and the instructors are very good. They are very patient with you picking up the material and try to make the class fun. You get what you put into it. You have to ask yourself what your intentions are. If you want to manage your retirement portfolio yourself then you have to get educated. You wouldn't want your portfolio managed by an amateur. Do you want to pay someone fees that you could pay yourself?
